The main question is what's going to happen to a LR's main cannon? It would seem weird if it was a D6 hit so maybe it will become an anti-tank weapon and the lascannon will be less common.

At fourteen, I was enthralled by the Warhammer Fantasy Battle demons of Slaanesh, who were gynandromorphic, and drew pictures of myself with my right half masculine as I dressed and groomed and my left half feminine. (My family found these drawings and told me it was OK for me to be gay, which was upsetting but funny.)
Also, I had a mixed puberty, developing breasts and hips at thirteen, along with a feminine growth pattern, but masculinized voice and body hair.
After coming out as trans and learning that I’m gender fluid, I worked to try to experience my two dominant genders simultaneously with wild success. I shortly learned after that that I experience my left half as girl and my right half as dragon. Shortly after that, I learned that I’m plural, and can cofront with my left half, splitting our body right down the middle.
My fibromyalgia effects each half of my body differently and my left half more. Both sensitivity to cold and hyper sensitive skin only effect my left side, and right up to the centerline where the sensations stop dead.
As an autistic, when I’m shutting down, if I relax and let it happen naturally, the left half of my body shuts down first, then when it’s done and recovered the right half shuts down. I have also experienced meltdowns confined to one side or the other.
My face, neck, and breasts have been effected differently on each side by hormone therapy. My left side taking on feminine traits at a faster rate. My left cheek is rounder. My left jaw has always been softer. The left side of my neck is less bulky. My left boob has been consistently bigger. I’ve always noticed that the left half of my rib cage is shaped differently than the right.
And now, it is really obvious, the left side of my head is regrowing lost hair thicker, faster, and further forward than the right.
I am a chimera. I am a female plural system and a non-binary plural system smooshed together to look like a single person. I’m a gyndracomorph.

How much will other people rage/call me a faggot/refuse to play against me if I use slightly different assemblies to play? I'm new to WH40k and have heard horror stories about people and want to make sure I'm not on the receiving end.

Specifically, I want to build a Vanguard but I really prefer the way the hoods/heads look for the Rangers. I don't know if there's anything else I'd be changing yet, but I'm not excluding it. The GW Store in Portland, OR is probably one of the only few GW stores that I've enjoyed playing at. I like to think the employees are genuinely nice dudes. In part because there are several giant game stores with plenty of tables, terrain, and space who would gladly eat up their business.

The only downside is that it's a few blocks from all the crime-riddled nig and spic neighborhoods. Upside is they're one of the few stores with an actual parking lot.

What I was referring to was the detachments in the DA codex dedicated to Deathwing, it has special rules which make it impossible to win with (auto-lose on turn 1 due to having no models on the table) unless you take Ravenwing too.

I don't really know what to make of the new literal "Ultramarines" - it makes me wonder why anyone would play with their older marines if these new ones are superior.
