> we are all so unfortunately genre savvy that whoever is GMing always feels the need to try and twist up the common tropes, so there is always some complex plot going on
> which is fine, we enjoy it. But it means that sometimes we miss out on the little things.
> playing through a politics heavy fantasy game because Game of Thrones was at the top of its hype
> its cool
> the kingdom we are in gets invaded, we win the battle but lose the war. The GM is giving a rundown of news coming out of the capital
> the king is dead. The queen is in hiding with her last remaining son. The princess has been taken as a political hostage. A bunch of the local merchant houses have-
"Wait, hold up. What was that last part?"
> The princess has been taken as a political hostage? You guys met her once, remember? Lessania?
The table goes quiet as we, as a group, realize something.
We have never, in our long history of gaming, actually rescued a princess. It was always too cliche a plot for any of our GMs to give us.
The GM gave us a bunch of reasons why it wouldn't work, listing off how she would be taken back to the enemy capital and locked in a gilded cage in the most defended heart of their territory. But we weren't having it.
The game instantly derailed into our group of backstabbing mercenaries and schemers banding together to rescue, and by rescue I essentially mean 'steal', the princess. It was like planning a heist.
It took 6 in game months, involved impersonating a dead lord and insinuating his 'son' (another, younger PC) as a royal messenger for long enough to gain a sort of anonymous trust, and something like 6 thousand wooden puppets on wagons to create a fake advancing army for multiple scouts to spot in the mountains, wearing the colors of a lord whose loyalty to the bad guys was in question and could believably be rumored to be plotting a sneak attack in conjunction with the princes forces.

The joke is that the riddle isn't supposed to make sense. The guy who posted it was just trying to fuck with everybody.
But one guy managed to figure out an answer that made a twisted kind of sense, despite there being no real answer to begin with.
>>52972458
>>52972264
As a group, yes. My character in specific died.
I was the one leading around the puppet army and giving the royal reserves a merry chase. For some reason, when they caught up to me they didn't buy my story that I was a scarecrow salesman who had made a very poor business venture and was looking for someone to buy one of my fake wooden men.
Instead of owning up to the ploy when pressed, I double, triple and quadrupaled down and tried to sell the enemy commander some puppets at a very reasonable price.
He had me beaten to death.

She has unfettered access to the entire font half of the room the moment she rolls her wrists upwards to slide them out of the looped chains (Which do not include manacles, meaning it would be trivially easy to stand to gain slack and slip out.)
>>52972533
The problem is 10:15 isn't a defensible answer, numbers from the problem aren't a solution just because they fit the format.
"Quarter to Two" fits as an answer because it's a canny wordplay that links the question to the answer: How can you relate gifts totalling 25 cents to a pair of children with a request for the stated time?
By connecting them with the colloquial wording for both money and time: A quarter to two
>>52977640
Don't be a Menace to South Central while Drinking your Juice.
A parody of the "in the Hood" films from early 1990's. It's really fun movie and i would say one of the better films Wayans brothers ever made.
>>52976843
I'm more disgusted with the attitude.
Of course art is about women's tits. All endeavors of merit in society are geared towards fucking or immortality, and the best of them are about both. We developed language to woo women and writing so that our best pickup lines would stand the test of time. We built monuments as a subtle hint about the genitals of the architects that designed them. We cooked incredible foodstuffs, to sustain the sexytimes, and sought more ingredients from places like a cow's udders, that we might have souffles and danishes for further fuckery.
Also, that shirt is tacky and I hate it.
>>52978452
I'm not sure if you're actually mad or not, nor am I sure if you understand the context of the pic, but its not the artist soapboxing, but rather an actual line of dialogue from the character that makes sense in context.Carbon Pink, by the way. Its still a WIP but it looks interesting to me.

The theme was at one time wrongly criticised for plagiarism due to a confusion arising from a video uploaded to Youtube. This video, created with a software called Synthesia and showing a MIDI arrange created by COOL&CREATE being played on an interactive piano, was initially uploaded to Niconico; later, an user reuploaded the video to Youtube, but the video's Japanese title was mistranslated as "Death Waltz - John Stump", causing a confusion that led some people to believe that ZUN had plagiarized that song. John Stump did create a song in 1980 called Death Waltz, but it is a joke song impossible to play by a human and it sounds like jumbled noise when played on a synthesizer.

No, they've definitely got one of those, and portraying someone as a soulless caricature who consists of nothing but a cluster of random labels is EXACTLY the kind of joke they'd tell. A lot of their humor is basied on the premise that people having traits is an inherently "laughable" (offensive) concept which is automatically worthy of "amusement" (hate), and if it's meant as a joke then that's exactly the kind of joke it is.

It's fair to say the exact opposite of that. Humans are naturally social creatures who are driven to connect with one another. Sometimes this means learning about others, or learning about themselves by finding others with similar experiences, among other things. Sometimes it means displaying forced, feigned apathy when they're revolted by someone's identity, under the pretense that the "real" reason they're offended (if they'll admit that) has nothing to do with a person's identity and everything to do with them making it visible to others. Or "obsessively" making a "big" deal about them, the standards for which tend to be incredibly low, such as mentioning them in a conversation where they're directly relevant, or including a mention of them in a game book's side paragraph.

I know, I tried a long time ago.
It stops at other /tg/ postings, no artist anywhere.

I see one bug, and it's making me really paranoid that there's more bugs I don't see.
Are there even any flowers in this picture?
Image limit. Should I make a fresh one?
>>52981337
There are no bugs. It's a flower defence mechanism.
>>52981307
>no artist anywhere.
I'm like 90% sure that's Ganmarei. Though I've never seen the particular doujin scanned besides the cover page, yet alone translated.
>it's not violence when there's love.jpg

Okay, so I knew that there were bugs that have evolved to look like flowers or leaves or sticks, but I wasn't aware that there were also plants that evolved to look like bugs.
How long will it be until no one can tell the difference?

>I knew that there were bugs that have evolved to look like flowers or leaves or sticks,
Don't be silly. There are no such things. There are also definitely not wasps that have evolved to look like USB sticks.

The way I heard it, it's allegedly used to refer to people disgustingly and shamefully express evil political opinions not because they genuinely see the logic behind them, but because they're pathetic enough to want attention and approval from the other evil people who support them and are too cowardly to hate and attack them like they should.
That's the assumption, anyway. In practice, it just means people who express certain viewpoints, which is the only aspect of it that's actually observable.

>that ends with the fucking SCP foundation showing up

The fact I knew the original author of her original work might imply that I knew her identity. I was referencing a rather infamous screencap resulting from people asking, well, what I put in quotes.
And doesn't this amaze you that, for such a famous piece of art, you can only name one H-doujin ? And by an artist who has a rather shotgun approach to fetishes and transgressions...
>>52977315
To be fair, in the work this is from isn't that her inner world or some shit? The chains are metaphorical, the fact that she could easily get out of them makes sense because her willpower's the only thing holding her back.

Are you trying to get me banned?REDLEVEL14
>>52981665
I don't know what work that is from.

>you can only name one H-doujin ?
Searching the girl's name on ExHentai gets you 511 results, m8.
>>52981778
And filtering it to only her character gets you a grand total of only ten doujins. At least try, nig.

Tsukihime, to simplify things a bit:
She's the last of her kind. Self-made last of her kind after a douche awakened her species's latent bloodlust in her. She's sealed herself away from the world, only coming out to hunt the douche whenever he reincarnates because the longer she's around people the greater the urge she has to just up and kill everyone.

T-this is a parody right?

MURDERHOBOING.jpg is the better title when you understand the context. Go read Judges 15 in the Christian bible

To lose that much wight in that time frame she'd need to be at a 5400 calorie defecit every day. Assuming a standard need of 2000 calories she'd need to swim a mile evey half hour for five hours a day, for a month. Her dedication is impressive.
