The only one that gives off vibes that are even slightly like that is Dee and I think it is less of "don't need no man" and more of "the culture I was born into and raised in is something I can no longer relate to like everyone in it, including my husband, and the God we all worshiped is as evil and eldritch as everyone says".

Nobody is really a slut despite really enjoying the sex they do have. So far all the main characters have fairly solid, if unconventional, monogamous romantic relationships. Are they shit at opening-up to their comrades when they really should? Yes, at least at the beginning of the series but as things progress they stop that shit. Are they habitual drug users? Yes and I have no real way to defend that vice. The characters have all suffered from their actions so I'm not sure where you are getting the author trying to pass it off as "quirky" since there are ramifications for the terrible things they do.

Hey, while it's true that Paladins benefit from a high WIS score, they're also a multiple-ability-required class, so she couldn't exactly soak everything into it.
As a frontline plate warrior, she would have had to have invested extra-hard in CON to make up for being an elf anyway.

She definitely couldn't afford to have had an INT score of greater than, say, 12 or so, because MAD character class.
And she only gets 2 Skill Points/Level + INT, which, reminder, could well have been 10 or even 8.

So, you know, it's not like she had a whole bunch of Sense Motive to throw at him there. Meanwhile, Desther clearly invested heavily in his Bluff check.

Basically, she can be said to have the Improved Combat Assholery feat.

There's basically nothing that most heroic classes can do that she can't take away from them. She's not a very *good* combatant, all told, but she specializes in rendering other combatants unable to make use of their abilities/features.
There's very little that makes her QQ more than a psychic hostile (hard to render them unconscious fast enough to stop them from doing bullshit,) a magician with everything prepped Still/Still+Silent (which an annoying lot of them do, especially a Still+Silent Freedom of Movement so they can escape grapple autofreely,) or a monster (can't disarm something's teeth, can you?)

I cornered a guy I just knew was gonna cast something annoying, Readied an action to clobber him when he cast (so as to disrupt the spellcasting,) and the GM ruled it happened instantly, before I could land, so there was no casting to disrupt.

Rat Queens is cool. The first volume's really solid. The second volume starts off reasonably well but by the end, it becomes just plain awful. I never read who the writers/artists are but the art really changes toward the end of the volume. We're at the third volume now and it's a return to form. Even the art is back to how it used to be. I'm assuming that the original writers/artists were replaced sometime toward the second half of the second volume but they're back now.

Overall, Rat Queens is a fun little romp but be aware that it has a pretty rough patch in the second half of the second arc. It seems to trigger some readers for some reason though. But eh, to each his own.

The rule of thumb is that as long the universe is consistent, the characters are three-dimensional, the narrative isn't skewed, there's something else than the magical realm to go for and the players are never railroaded, coerced or even tempted into going along against their own will, you don't actually lose anything as compared to a normal game.
The danger about people putting their own fetishes in a game is that they tend to be connected very deeply to their own likes, dislikes, fixations and psychosexual fuck-ups, and people get very defensive and affectionate when it comes to them. The main reason that magical realm is a bad thing (in its original definition) is that it entails forcing players into it with hamhanded tricks and excuses, doesn't give a way out, tries to make everything orbit around the fetish, deprives the players of reasons to defy the railroading and generally turns the whole game into the DM's playground.
An archetypal example would be if the GM made the king of the country itself request the PCs to act as emissaries to the amazon kingdom, where they're expected to tolerate being picked up, treated like kids, squeezed in between cleavage and otherwise act as a part in the GM's fetish fantasy, and the "climax" is the ceremony where the PCs have to wrestle the amazon chieftainess to not get forcibly married (and there are no dice involved, only fudge). Of course, the amazons are all good-hearted and perfectly fair, and when the PCs argue successfully against them, the GM pulls out the literal word of the amazons' super-special goddess.

A better way of handling it would be to make sure that the amazons have their own niche in the universe that makes sense, doesn't put them in an unfair spotlight, gives the players the chance to avoid them and has one or two big flaws that stops them from being pure GM favoritism bait. If you put these amazons in a relatively remote corner of the world, give players choice between quests, give the PCs the choice between multiple solutions that don't immediately punish them for not obeying your fantasy and make sure the amazons are a real race rather than just your own fetishes, it should fit in.
Right off the top of my head, that could be done by making the amazons real people with real motivations - no racial ara-ara streak and no Goddess-given perfection, just a bunch of tribals who have their own interests. Some of them are nice about it, some of them aren't, and there are those who'd just as well kill you as have sex with you because they're fighters first and amazons second.
Include men who aren't in your preferred slave role, amazons who don't fit your fetishes, those who act on causes that can't be described as "because they're amazons" and of course real, pervasive flaws in amazon society that don't fit your fetish.
If you're turned off by hard vore, for example, make it a setting element that the culture practices ritual cannibalism - you don't need to make it a central element (and one thing you need to be careful about is making an "oppressive" tradition and then making the plot and sympathetic characters all about stopping it), but just put it in as for example a coming-of-age ceremony (you aren't considered a proper adult, and thus not ready to have sex, before you've sucked the marrow from a slain enemy's bones) to stop everything from becoming so perfectly in tune with your fetishes that you get too caught up in it.

The players are headed for a jungle that I had originally planned to only contain a generic kind of lizardmen enemy and ruins. I plan to instead have the jungle contain amazons and then see how the players choose to interact with them. I can go both ways (hur hur hur)... totally depends on the tone of the fiction.

Pulling off the chainmail bikini or the boob armor generally requires the creators pushing all their chips in on the "rule of cool" for all design decisions. Examples would be Red Sonja or Xena - the kind of universes that run on their own logic where anything that's awesome just works. At that point questioning the "realism" of a character's costume doesn't even make sense.

On the other hand, if you're going for something that's going to be remotely gritty / realistic / serious, then the outfits should fit with that. The same types of armor and weapons will generally work regardless of gender, and lady warriors will display all the hallmarks of any person that fights for a living. Basically - I don't care if my fiction is realistic, I just like it to be internally consistent.

Now, if you've got a character that's got a plausible reason she can get away with dressing impractically (because she can levitate or she's rich or whatever), then have at it.

The "lewdfags trying to derail every thread" was a problem you created - when /wst/ got banned, when quests got banned and indeed when the janny went on one of his purges, the amount of these posters would spike and never completely go down.
I started out opposed to "magical realm", because while I don't normally care about a bit of awkwardness at the table, I never liked furries and spergs - and then you people came along and started slinging more shit than I've ever seen from furries and "lewdfags" combined, trying to gain LG points by "ferreting out" "lewdfags", in the process accomplishing nothing but banning most content providers (fun fact: lewd content is content too, and someone who does one also usually does the other) and sending people fleeing to the opposite side because they're being pestered by a childishly persistent enemy.
If you'd come here back in just 2013, you'd have seen that we had a form of harmony. People lewdposted because they wanted to, ignored it if they didn't want to participate, everyone had fun and the discussion went naturally back to its starting topic.
