This might be an awkward question but how do you 'talk' in a match against someone? I've only played online card game.

I watch tournaments but you never hear the actual 2 players say anything to each other.

What do you announce? Do you announce anything at all and the other guy is just expected to immediately know everything you are doing?

Anybody want to make a thread that isn't a raging dumpster fire?

I always announce untap, upkeep, draw (pausing for a moment on upkeep to give my opponent a moment to say something if they want to do something) and moving to combat, everything else is superfluous unless you have triggers.

Is Gideon the hero Modern deserves or the one it needed?
