I'm >>52820927 and no. Here's what I did. I made a goblin unleashed rogue knife master archetype/assassin
The GM thought i'd be playing an edgelord full of cringe.
What I ended up doing was going on a thieving spree, stealing anything worth more than 10 gold that could fit in a large bag of holding.

The campaign was an evil one, so all my actions were in line with the party. One of our raids was on a mansion owned by some merchant lord. We split the party in two, me alone and the rest throwing as much of a commotion they could

Being a goblin, I picked the trait that gave me climb speed. So I walk crawled the outer wall and then the mansion, got into a vent shaft and navigated my way to the treasury room. Lost myself a few times in the shafts getting there because my character had little to no map reading experience and poor rolls. I had stolen the blueprints to the house prior to the raid.
I ended up stealing about half the treasure they had, took the choicest bits thanks to maxed ranks in appraise. The party actually had a fight with the guards, nothing serious, they used non-lethal weapons and they had payed a few homeless people to come help with the fight.

I waited until night to crawl out of the mansion, just to make sure the guards wouldn't spot me even though I had about +25 in stealth

So rest assured: the plotline followed a Daeva pimp (a pc) with 1 dot in Int attempting to gain more power and money via ridiculous and illegal means, who would misuse or mispronounce words, and who relied heavily on a socially awkward but intelligent Gangrel with a penchant for gadgets and a slightly stunned and morally shaky Ventrue, set against the backdrop of Baton Rouge shortly after Hurricane Katrina. Things were blundered, people accidentally hurt in ridiculous fashions, stuff got broken and relationships strained.

I'm trying to remember the pcs names. I believe the Daeva's name was "Murphy", the Gangrel was "Theo". I can't remember the Ventrue's named off the top of my head.

His traps and schemes usually backfire so badly that it helps the party. At one point, in an expansive underground dungeon, he blew up the bottom of a pillar so it would fall on us, but it ended up creating a makeshift bridge. Sometimes he blows up other enemies on accident, too. It's never intentional. but it helps a lot.

He was also forced to work with the party a few times, like when they all got captured by the Drow and had to all sneak out together with the other gladiators to survive or when he realized the BBEG will never accept him as a friend and brought him down with him.

For a minute I was curious of you were one of the other players in my old star wars game. Our trandosian was a goddamn brick shithouse of a tank who was, despite being a freaking blender on legs with his sword, the most personable person in the party. He was also, despite being a wanted criminal in our game, a former daytime television star (or whatever it's actually called in Star Wars), who was very popular and almost immediately recognized by other trandosians we met. He was basically a cross between Forest Gump, George Clooney from General Hospital, and the Terminator.
And somehow he still managed to not be the weirdest person in the crew, between our roided-up gunslinger who was officially banned from several planets for shooting up cantinas with high caliber weaponry over minor disputes with the bartenders, our droid with more science/repair skill than the rest of us put together, fewer ethics than Mos Eisley, and a head full of stolen data from Imperial Black Ops projects, and our Twilek, who I am pretty sure had a sexual fetish for thermal detonators. Though said detonators did lead to us blowing up a Rancor with a pair of pants.

Not the same anon but it's shit. You can go through the game without ever spending a skillpoint or knowing what the fuck is going on because plotholes. It's also pretty short, so expect to pay even more for a story/gameplay that's nowhere near as good as the first.

She ended up so minmaxed that I had to retire her to allow the game to keep running, because she was so problematic to the campaign.

Abrupt Jaunt, Unluck (With spontaneous divination), Celerity, Chained Shivering Touch with the Reach High Arcana, ALL the metamagic on negative levels, and then during the boss fight of the arc I finally started using timestop as an SLA.

The GM ended up giving everything and everyone the Death ward spell. Which is when I started Chaining Greater Dispel Magic. Then we agreed to have my character phased out by going home to be queen. Apparently they'll be a reoccurring NPC.

Hey, I got to level 9 spells, and essentially solo'd the final boss of the arc with it. It was a group mostly full of newbies, so I made the character to keep us alive while they- including the GM- got used to the game. So I'd been holding back essentially the entire time. Then when me and the GM discussed retiring my character, and this their last time, I decided to go full fucking swan song.

The GM thought spell resistance would stop me, but Assay Spell Resistance is awesome. Death ward got a nice shiny Quickened Dispel Magic with a CL of 21 (at level 17), and then I Enervated the hell out of him to lower his save enough to get an Unluck off, and from then on he was basically broken, taking twice as many rolls to take the worst ones. With Celerity and Timestop I was, uh, basically just standing there and taking multiple turns at once while the rest of the party twiddled their thumbs.

The GM had made a mistake of giving me a circlet that negates stun effects- notably dazing- 3 times a day. That just made the already ridiculous Celerity spell even more outrageous. In the first three rounds I had at least six standard actions, not counting the 2d4+2 from both timestops.

And at the end, I still had Alacritous Cogitation up in my 9th level slot. So I threw a soul bind on him with a severely overpriced black sapphire (I'd bought one worth 25 HD when he was actually only level 21, not that I knew that), because why the fuck not.

Then we used the last charge of a Ring of Three Wishes to permanently destroy the gem and all it contained (Notably, his soul). For good reason, too, since his dying throes was him rambling about how he'd be back, and we were done with his shit.

We haven't gotten too far, but I planned on making a nerdy librarian wizard and was for about a session or two. Then combats began, and since the other party members are supporty bards, I've killed almost every enemy so far with fire. Now a vampire destroyed his home village and he gave up on his dream to make the first compendium of monsters to instead kill the vampire with fire.
