Why not both?

Your Emperor is a rotting corpse
>>52775874
I like both
>>52776052
Yes, but he's a magical rotting corpse kept alive through science and souls.

Both, ever try Numenera?
>>52775874
I like both. Hell, I even like them together. So long as I'm playing with friends, it doesn't matter what the setting is. We'll have fun, one way or another. I do not like your picture though OP. I do not like that man thing.

As soon as you stop posting bait threads, dipshit :^)

Can I get a quick rundown on the source of this image?

The problem seems to be people trying to turn fantasy settings into hard scifi ala "What was Aragorn's tax policy?" "How would large amounts of undead slaves affect the labour economy?" "How many deer/whales/humans would a 18 ton dragon need to eat to be able to fly 1000 miles and kidnap a princess and what would be the biological impotus to do so?"
Meanwhile scifi gets away with loads of shit and hand waves it away as future tech and future humans no longer chained by our mortal desires
Fantasy --> You can't explain the hows and whys of things that happen. Just accept it, you're a hero with stuff to do.
Futuristic --> This can have fantastic stuff happening, but there is a general understanding of how/why these things happening. It might be esoteric or arcane, but if you dedicated your life to it, you could figure it out. Meanwhile, you have heroic stuff to do.
Both. Space Fantasy is awesome.

It's the same thing, just with different terminologies.
>>52778774
Sci-fi at least answers the questions asked even if some techno babble is involved.
Most fantasy prudes just go "it's fantasy stop asking questions".

This here.
It's why I prefer sci-fi generally.

Cannot be finished because no defined setting and is dependent on what levels developement each side has on their own art
>He doesn't use a setting with altered physics allowing both.
