I think it was the 5e Space Marine codex that specifically said an Astartes is equal to about 12 average guardsmen in terms of raw military strength. It was in the fluff section for Captains.

Also common sense, since lasguns can blow a space marine's head into pieces if it hits the visor, and with 100 guardsmen one will get lucky eventually.

I think the only fair way is to test it though. 1000 times should be enough.

Need more information on the kinds of Guardsman, their outfit/general gear, their regimental tactics and their commander, otherwise I can't say with much clarity. The Space Marine will be a terrifying threat, however, simply due to his almost inherent superior combat/tactics understanding on top of all the superhuman bullshit, but any remotely competent Marine wouldn't just charge the Guardsmen either way, better to pick them off a handful at a time than risk death at the hands of a dozen overcharged Lasguns or a single Plasma Gun/Autocannon shot.

Depends on a shitload of factors. For instance whether the marine is in a situation that allows him to single out groups of guardsmen or if he has to fight them all at once in a head on slugging match. Marines in 40k are operators for operating operationally in operations, even in the real world, operators get rekt if they find themselves in a bad situation, marines just have more leeway as to how bad a situation can get before they get rekt, as well as having boosted mental and physical traits that let them stay out of bad situations more easily.

Guardsmen win no contest.

They'll fire in the ballpark of 300 lasgun shots on one turn, hit 150 times, wound 50 times and 16,7 of those shots will go through the marines armour. Althought, it is telling that 100 guardmen are only capable of killing 16-17 space marines a turn.

Of course this isn't taking into accounter that some of those 300 guardsmen would likely have laspistols, thus shooting less, or special weapons thus shooting harder, likewise it also does not take cover into account.

Kharn killed 10K+guardsmen alone with his bare hands. Next question.

he's still a dude, and even though he could take 100 dudes on a row of a 1vs1 that doesnt mean he can beat 100 at the same time, guards could totally jump on him with grenades, or slow his movement with corpses while the rest unload their weapons on the blood mass

Guardsmen.

They will lie ambush by directly rushing into a melee and sacrifice first 30 guardsmen as a reinforced bolter fire cover, rest will bound and blind the Space Marine with their flashlights.

Then by the name of the Emperor 20 guardsman will bang on its feet with their bayonets as a another tactical distraction obfucating a flanking movement of another 30 guardsmen climbing on their comrades dead bodies and subdue the Space Marine helmet by hopefully removing it.

The rest of the force then would attack from the rear and for glory of the Imperium drown this wretched heretic in their own blood. (if helmet removal would be successful)

The game mechanics don't really allow for many tactics to be done like you're thinking, and in most cases there wouldn't be a more efficient way than just staying out of charge range and hitting them with the Boltgun, there's basically no way to make a Marine survive even one round of shooting from two or so 10-man Guardsman squads except relying on the dice.

I can't be quite sure this is memeing, but presuming it isn't, Space Marines actually have advanced sensors and multi-spectrum sight inbuilt into their suits. Why they don't have Night Vision in TT is beyond me, but by all lore reckoning they should have it.

Both assuming flashlights and paper mache and no specialist armor piercing gear. Which logically now i think about it amongst 100 guardsmen atleast a few would probably have.

What is the smurf's rank? is he in scout, power, or terminator armour? What weapon does he have?
What kind of guardsmen? Do they only have lasguns or are there specialists?
There's too many variables for how long the smurf lasts before succumbing to massed firepower. But in all likelyhood, dicewise, the guardsmen win.

Meltaguns and lascannons. Unless we are talking about a truly shitty regiment, at least a few of those 100 guardsmen have to have one or another. And if the guardsmen in question are Cadians, then they are guaranteed to be pose a real threat to a marine even in relatively unimpressive numbers.

Unless it's another smurf wank book, that is. Then they fight C'tan bare handed and use meltaguns to shave their ballsacks.

Technically, a village of tribals killed a chaos marine because he didn't wear his fucking helmet and tried to tank their poisoned magbows/reynbows.

A single bolt did diddly and his glands soaked the venom, then the entire damn village turned his head into an artistic knifeblock with concentrated fire.
