So me and my friend are thinking about rolling up retarded characters for D&D.
We were talking about "retard strength" and it gave us an idea.
What if other stats had the "retard prefix?"
>Retard Strength
1: You're a vegetable.
20: You can crush spines with your hugs.
>Retard Fortitude
1: Don't leave home without your helmet.
20: You can take your helmet off to eat.
>Retard Constitution
1: You're in an iron lung.
20: You read The United States Constitution and realize you have rights (and lefts)
>Retard Charisma
1: Smearing shit all over yourself in public
20: You're a downy, but a cool downy, like Forrest Gump
>Retard Dexterity
1: Trip and skin your knee, crying about it for hours
20: You can make your own spaghetti all by yourself.
>Retard Wisdom
1: You post on 4chan.
20: You sweat when you see a chalkboard in the distance.
>Retard Intelligence
1: You're retarded.
20: You're retarded.
What do you think, /tg/? Are we on to something here?
>>52759785
Definitely onto something. Can we make an entire system out of this?
What does Retard Magic look like?
>>52759853
Yu-Gi-Oh.
>>52759853
Care-Bears?
>>52759785
also, what is the setting for this?
>>52759916
It's like a game of Candyland, but your caregivers are super cool and let you run on the sidewalk.
What kind of classes would there be? Downy barbarians? Autist bards?

Stat me
You need to account for savants in INT
20, you can do one -- possibly useless -- thing better than ANYONE else in the realm.

Why try to shoehorn this stuff into DnD, instead of using a system where this is integrated into the core system?
>>52760665
What did you have in mind?
>>52759785
>he lists both Fortitude and Constitution
