This is what I imagine. Sonically blasting things apart from their core. Turning internal organs into jelly.

I also think there would be many different "bands" within the Noise Marines that employ their own tastes in audio carnage. Some would even end up infighting over who's "genre" is better. But some would be better for light armour, heavy armour, infantry, anti-air, subterranean, open spaces, space hulks, wide range, narrow, etc, etc.
