they are incredably loyal and carried out any task without question, they were also the the second best killy chapter after the world eaters who are by far number one, but the space wolves can be controlled and more effective. also the theory goes that the space wolves killed the forgotten legions primarchs and destroyed the forces with left overs being put into the ulttra marines, as well as they destroyed prospero and tried to bring the world eaters to their kness.

pretty much if you need somethign dead and you dont give a fuck about anything on that planet, you send the world eaters, but if the planet has strategic value, you send the space wolves because they are really good at killing but are not over the top like the world eaters.
