...they do note that templates can be applied to PCs though. And even give suggested adjustments for the ones potentially intended. They're also laughably incorrect in some cases. Like the Noble Drow (as opposed to the normal Drow) being only a +1 adjustment is something laughed off the table by nearly any group.
In general though, the way to handle it is to go into a game with everyone having a similarly scaled template if you're going to use templates and to otherwise avoid using them

Nazarick is honestly insane. For starters, you have 10 level 25+ people running around in +20 gear; one of them has no actual weaknesses and has autorevive while another one has divine levels. Then you have 6000 level 8-10 skeletons swarming around and that's not counting the random level 20 mobs running around or Rubedo who's like a CR 40 encounter on her own.

I am playing a Warpath who worships a deity with a Heavy Blade as his favored weapon.

This gives me the following options for disciplines:

I am trying to determine the best disciplines for a character focused on the Dueling Sword and infiltration skills. Unfortunately because my ability scores are split I only have 14 Wisdom and thus can't reliably force enemies to fail saves (looking at a DC 15 at most at early levels unless I spend discipline focus).

Right now I am heavily considering Scarlet Throne, but I am stick on the other two. I am going to be focusing on two disciplines and doing a very small dip into a third.

What should I focus on? What should I dip into?

This one was a bit iffy, but I went with the Egyptian Tarot name of this card as first interpretation. Aida is the most tomboyish girl in the cast who isn't literally presenting as a man, and as a catgirl from the desert stands between the civilized world and the wilderness.

Essa, VI - The Lovers

Ignoring the more purient aspects of this, the major tie is how Essa has already made one sacrifice (the presentation of her actual sex) for the benefits of being a man in society, and will likely have to make more. It also ties into her relationship with the party, who will probably be her first true companions in her rather sad life.

Orlan will probably wind up literally being Gamze's chariot in later battles. But he's also a traveler and a warrior, so it feels very appropriate. He's also the hard butch to Shanan's less 'traditional european masc' style. The four beasts here don't represent the classical elements, but instead the seasons and climates of Golarion and his journey across it.

Iolanthe, IX - The Hermit

Consider Iolanthe at the start of the S-Link. She's an elf, and so older than the whole party combined. She's a former adventurer who withdrew from that life after settling down and living a common life with a husband and half-elven daughters. But now financial woes have disrupted that and she's been forced out, desperate to make more money.

In this case, the wasteland is the end of her good fortune and the hard times she's fallen upon, as well as the draught in her mind. Her insights aren't all there, but she's still a mature figure in the party in some ways. If she regains some stability, expect her to embody a more conventional version of the Hermit as the wise older tittygandalf.
