Do it anyway!
So is there a formula for optimal strategy in poker? It's probability based, so someone must have cracked the code
>>52688309
its a combination of probability, psychology, and strategy
sometimes however you will play a strategy where you set a self probability on when you will allow yourself to keep hands and fold hands, and just ignore completely what is happening at the table.

This. Strategy is how you bet based on your chips, the chips other players have, How they're betting and their position to the dealers.
Good players will recognize your strategy and bet based on it trying to break it. That's where the psychology and risk management aspects come in.

Game Theory Optimal is in theory the winning formula. It mostly fails in practice outside high stakes heads-up games, and even then having a tell on your opponent is more profitable. GTO essentially disregards the psychological aspect of the game so it is even less useful in live games. I don't know much about it, so maybe someone else can explain it better.
Anyway, I'm surprised that poker isn't discussed on much /tg/, seeing as it's one of the most popular card games in the world.

Well, what's to discuss? Rules are strict, and tells and psych strategy is individual based.

Discuss hands, what you would do in X position, stuff like that. But yeah, it doesn't seem like there is that much to talk about.
