These are all good ideas, but there's got to be others who are secretly pulling strings.
Consider Wist, Argentum, Adam R., Captain Slow, Exhack, and the like. I don't think any of those four have ever made a character that people found outright-terrible or offensive. What if THEY'RE the ones who are secretly evil as fuck, convincing GMs to choose based on their whims and desires, even purposefully being denied games to push suspicion off of them?

seems like a solid archetype, but i think you should include some goodies for tower shields, since it has tower in the name
maybe allow setting down the tower shield as the same action for entering bulwark mode?

the point blank shot feature seems kind of weak, but since it's replacing an equally "whatever" feature, it's fine

also, maybe add a thing in there somewhere that lets you qualify for ranged-type feats (like rapid shot) with str instead of dex? might be too strong though

You know I never really thought about it until now but shields are a bit underpowered in this game aren't they? One of the biggest classical tropes in fiction is a guy with a shield running up against a dragon and using it to fend off the dragon's breath weapon attack, but AFAIK there's literally no way to do something like that in PF without investing into shields only.

I need to summon and contract with a particular Salamander. One of my character's ancestors did this in the past which made the line into partial Ifrit and got them the family sword. Once my character finds this out I plan on having them contact this Salamander directly and form a new contract with them.

If I didn't have my glasses on, it's reading without holding it at arms length like an idiot, and fine details I'm not used to that look like a blurry thing. Probably a -1 melee hit and melee AC, and a -2 to -4 penalty for skills (-4 for disabling magical traps or the such). I'd be putting bolts through eyesockets at 100ft no problem though.

Also, glassteel is one of THE spells for glasses.

One of their best compensation/tax feats is Defensive Expertise, in PoW: This allows it to act vs touch and to up your reflex (the shield bonus works on the former and the enhancement bonus gets to up the latter).
