How can I get all the lantern rings /jc/?
>>
>>52660369
Yellow and Green in Injustice, Blue and Red in GLTAS, and then Sapphire in DC. You'll have to get Orange on your own.
>>
>>52660045
The funny thing is, that by doing this, they've made the essence of women responsible for all kinds of atrocities. It made sense in the past that channeling the power of the demonic elder god of chaos warped Wanda's mind. Now it means that the power that stems from women actually drives people insane.

>>52660087
Exactly.
>>
>>52660390
>Blue and Red in GLTAS
Those are very much a pale imitation of the real deal.
>>
>>52660372
Alright, just stop honking your fucking horn. It's not like I can control the goddamn traffic.
>>
>>52660372
>This is addressed to a certain namefag.
But you hate so many namefags, Timmy.
>>
>All that Marvel fuck ups last thread

Was...was that the future that Dr.Doom saw?
The one that gave him the desire to take over the world to save it?
>>
>>52660408
Marvel is run by insane monkeys at this point.
>>
>>52660372
Let me guess you mean Anonymous.
Well I have news for you he's not going anywhere and there's nothing you can do to change that.
>>
>>52660415
Well for the Blue, it doesn't matter because it's only real purpose is boosting your Green and Fist said that still functions the same as in the comics.

Red, well, you'll just have to make do. It's not so bad since the show version doesn't replace your blood with boiling construct juice that means you die if you lose the ring or the charge goes out.
>>

Banjo is the SJW. I can't remember anything from justice that sounded like that particular brand of cancer.
He likes waifus too much to be in the same tier as a numale.
>>

Maybe.
>>
>>52660435
Little did Dr. Doom know that no matter how based you are you can't beat the people that write the story.
>>

>Fist said that still functions the same as in the comics.
Wait, really? So Blue is pretty much one of, if not the best option in that jump?
>>
>>52660435
Oh yeah, by the way, Doom is also Iron Man now.
>>
>>52660439
If there are any actual SJWs in this thread I assume they are on the lower end of the crazy idiot side of that nonesense. I can even prove this.

Timmy/his even less intelligent clones are the thread's biggest problems. That wouldn't be possible if we had some real potato level SJWs around.

Fair point.

Not that anon, but orbiting a black hole would also look metal as fuck from the outside.
It'd seem normal on the surface, but anyone watching your planet would see it twist and morph as it went around the black hole, due to the warping of spacetime.
>>52658472
Well now I feel justified for every time I've gone outside and flinched from how bright the Sun is.

Also, while the sanest answer is that they'll eventually figure out the math behind the why the Sun is so intense, wouldn't it be sort of fucking awesome if one day a horde of giant space monsters just flew out of the Sun? Like the Sun was just an incubation nest for them?

Reminder that Doom skinned the love of his life to sell her soul to demons just so he could get the power to fuck with the F4.
>>
>>52660594
That was retarded. Much like Peter making a deal with actual Satan.
>>
>>52660572
Is liking steven universe really so bad?

Actually don't answer that I already know.
>>
>>52660532
That makes me think of the Xeelee Cycle, where it turns out the ultimate reason for the Xeelee's actions was to prevent that. They failed. But there's a big reveal that the reason that our sun is so bright is because dark matter monsters, the "photino birds", are artificially aging it because they live inside stars (well, the regions of the dark matter medium that are influenced by a star's gravity, anyway) and they want to cause them all to decay into dim dwarf stars ahead of schedule to provide better living conditions. Eventually the photino birds take over the entire baryonic universe and age all stars to darkness, and the only survivors are those who escape through the Xeelee's gateway to new universes. Most of which are kind of shitty, like the hyper-gravity universe. That one sucks.
>>
>>52660582
What, like a generic social media jump?
>>
>>52660633
Sucks for humans I guess
>>
>>52660713
but muh human slavery.
>>
what was the most awkward moment in your chain and why?
>>
>>52660720
Slavery isn't defensible from the slave's point of view no matter what you're doing with them.
>>
>>52660695
No like a jump where certain memes are real and the social media wars are actual wars, "The Kekistani government stands by our amphibian allies regardless of these absurd accusations".
>>
>>52660746
That's real life, anon. We're living that right now.
>>
>>52660746
So... Generic Virtual World? It's more "memes are real" than anything approximating a "generic virtual world".
>>
>>52660721
Thanks to some mistakes on my part and a certain drawback all the main characters in the Kamen rider jumps learned about my jumper nature and how I could have easily solved all of their problems without anyone dying. So it made for an awkward and violent birthday party.
>>
>>52660721
The first time I met Diarmuid I threw up on him because I was piss drunk at a party. Which was awkward because I went to Ireland in the first place to woo him.

I salvaged it by demanding to fight him in single combat on the spot when I got sober. I beat him and we hit it off pretty well afterwards/
>>
>>52660734
What are Twileks?
What are House Elves?
What are Elves in general?
What are the Shamoians?
And any other group/individual who quite enjoys the slavery?
>>
Politician jump when? I want to be president!
>>
>>52660713
Yes. Them and every other life form in existence.

>>52660720
Nah, that was the Fish and the Qax who enslaved humans. The Xeelee were mostly apathetic to us, they only got involved with us when we involved ourselves. We're the ones who attacked them, just because we were too scared of what these godlike aliens might do. And then when we started using truly terrifying acausal weapons to fight them, they retreated rather than escalate the conflict. But even then they left behind automated ships to take us to the Ring and bring us to salvation should the Photino Birds win. The Xeelee are just fine, there's no good reason to hate them other than xenophobia.
>>
>>52660803
Metal Wolf Chaos.
Be the best president there ever was.
>>
>>52660799
Those groups don't include humans, anon. Those are all species that were created or became fetishists for their own slavery.
>>
>>52660746
Sounds like something you would have to make yourself.
>>
>>52660821
There are a few individual humans who would enjoy it, more if a BDSM enthusiast jumper with the normal (excessive) amount of charisma perks shows up.
>>
>>52660821
House Elves are based off of Brownies, or at least bare insane resemblances to them. That isn't fetishizing their slavery, that is their actual nature. Fish swim, birds fly, Brownies clean.
>>

Don't Brownies get really fucking pissed off if you mistreat them or don't give them food, though? I imagine that treating them like most wizards treated house elves would earn you their wrath real quick.
>>
>>52660921
Yes, and Dobby got really fucking pissed off when he was mistreated.
We don't see any other House Elves besides him outright mistreated. Brainwashed sure, at least in one case, that getting their head lopped off was an honorable thing. And tossed out on their ass in another, but only Dobby was actually abused.

Unfortunately he's just playing the crowd.
The next fucking page is him strapping bomb vests to those people so they can go blow themselves up on minorities.
It's dumb as hell, but then again Marvel is literally gassing their minority stand in so I don't think they really get what is and isn't a good idea.
>>
>>52660946
There's Creature, but he supports your argument in that his response to what he saw as 'abuse' was to actively sabotage his master.
>>
>>52660921
Not exactly, in myth it's hard to actively interact with brownies, and they don't want to interact with you, they also don't need to be feed, they are just more likely to do more work if you give them food as gifts(if it's a payment they hate that and leave), house elves are closer to hobs in some ways though(as you get rid of hobs by giving them clothes). Hobs though are evil little shits if you offend them, brownies just leave.

Either way though house elves are actually better to have than a mythological brownie or hob. Though hobs have healing powers iirc.
>>
>>52660996
Kreature was only outright 'abused' by Sirius, who hated his guts because he was a reminder of his shitty childhood, and yes he did actively sabotage Sirius. He was brainwashed sure, but from what we see/are told it seems he was very well treated by the Blacks, especially Regulus.

>>
>>52660594
Remind me to slap his shit if I end up in a universe where that's canon. I seriously can't see him doing that, but wasn't his whole thing basically 1) wanting Sue Richards, 2) making fun of Reed Richards, and 3) wanting to free his mother from Hell? That's some bullshit right there. And by bullshit I mean shit-tastic characterization.
>>

Hey man. I like Steven Universe. It's a show all about love and understanding and people trying their best despite sucking and then everyone cries and sings about it.
SJWs don't do any of that. I have never heard a SJW sing a song about how beautiful the world is. They're all about hate and tearing things down to feel better about their own shitty lives.

In Steven Universe, any given character's worst enemy is that character themselves.
Marvel conversely has to try to radically rewrite characters to scream profanities so their other characters look better by comparison, and they STILL manage to fuck that up.

So, y'know. Fuck them. Fuck SJWs. They ruin everything. Including the fanbase.
Really says something that none of them give a shit about Marvel.
>>
>>52661025
Just never stop exploding him and attacking in every single way available to you. If you have bombs, use those. If you have knives, use those. If you have allies, use those. If you have enemies, use those. All the resources of the valley from soul burning powder to alien spaceship fleets, use those. Make it bombastic and fun.

Rig the entire valley with explosives.
>>
>>52661026
No. Doctor Doom's thing is being a sociopath. His mother was the only person he genuinely cared for, everyone else is just a prop in his own personal story. Even his hatred of Reed is more because it suits his preferred narrative to have a nemesis to rail against than any real hate. So I can see him killing Valeria for power. What I can't see is him wearing armor made out of her skin, because that's not good for his image. Men defined by their pride and vanity do not wear creepy dead-girlfriend skinsuits.
>>
>>52661108
>His mother was the only person he genuinely cared for,
Lies, he loves his God-daughter. He STARTED OUT only caring for her as a way to spite Richards, but he legitimately cares about her by this point.
>>
>>52661084
The problem is that when someone does something they don't like, they get attention by yelling about it. Marvel is assuming that people who yell about it are also buying comics. They aren't. So they're just alienating their established customer base for absolutely nothing.

>>52661108
Oh. Well. Fuck. I'll just impose a moral framework on him with magic while making an unrelated deal with him then, because fucking Doom needs to stop being a tool. Wasted potential.
>>
>>52661057
No, actually it is Reed that is sleeping with Doom's mother.
>>
>>52661134
Oh, true, I forgot about her, Mostly because Valeria Richards is so boring I barely remember she exists most of the time. Same with Franklin. The Richards children are pretty forgettable.
>>
>>52661137
Doom, like many many MANY characters in comics, waffles. Sometimes he's more likable than Richards, and a legitimately better person
Sometimes he's baby-eatingly evil just to show "look! He's actually the bad guy!".

Different people prefer different interpretations. I like "Egomaniac, who is a massive prick(and still a monster in his own right), but still a good Ruler and a better person than Richards" Doom.
>>
>>52661166
I'm seconding that interpretation.
>>
>>52661172
Yes, Doom is exactly what little Wizard Hitler wanted to be when he grew up.
>>
>>52661166
I think most people prefer that interpretation, actually.

Well, most of the people in /jc/, anyway.
>>
>>52661187
What do you think the Death Eaters' costumes were based on? The only difference is that they're black cloaks and not green.
>>
>>52661166
I prefer "worse person than Richards, but is much better at functioning as a good person than Richards is". They're both awful people, but while Reed is less awful, Doom is less likely to reveal his awfulness. It's because of that sociopathy. Doom's public image is very important to him, so even though he's a bad person he'll still do nominally good things like enrich the lives of Latverians. Reed, on the other hand, doesn't care what anyone thinks about him, so while he's not as bad as Doom, he doesn't put in the effort to hide it.
>>
>>52661166
>a better person than Richards
Not exactly setting the bar too fucking high there, are they?
Reed Richards is useless.
Hydra-tized Captain America is a better person than Richards.
>>
>>52661204

But Trump is already one of the easiest people to companion in the chain. That and he comes with powers of Godhood and a Stand
>>
>>52661204
That DOES create some interesting character study. Who is the better person? The man who is more virtuous but still does not feel the need to help others or act decently, or the man who is more of a monster but takes pains to hide it and aids others so that he will appear more human?

The answer is Doom.
The answer is always Doom.
>>

Okay. I. No. I officially have no response for this. Just nothing.

Just none.
>>
>>52661204
>nominally good things like enrich the lives of Latverians
Well that's the thing, the Latverians specifically can be viewed from yet another lens.
He takes care of his people, and ensures they are healthy and happy, not because he's a good person. But because from his point of view, they are HIS they belong to HIM, like property. And one should always take good care of their things.

It's better to be born good, obviously. If you're born good, you start out doing good things. If you're born bad and learn to defy your inherent nature, then you do bad things and have to make up for them. Even if you work that debt off and start doing good, you'll still have done less good overall than someone who started out that way.

Not really.
There's one call THE TECHNO QUEEN, in which Taylor gets a Tinker power that can do some Doom-style stuff, but she just goes Saturday Morning Villain with it. And does backhandedly heroic stuff.

Lung becomes a cowboy sheriff. Sheriff Lung. In chaps. And a Stetson.

The entire thing is completely insane. Good for a laugh, though.

Well, cardboard can't be good or bad.
>>
>>52661424
Paarthunax isn't speaking of who generates the most good. Think about it, why would it make any sense that someone born evil does more good than someone born good, assuming both individuals have about the same agency.

No, what he's talking about is which takes more personal strength. Is it better to simply follow your nature unthinkingly, or to defy your inborn nature to be a better person?
>>
>>52661410
There was a fanfic where Taylor was basically a fusion of Doom, Magneto, and Railgun, it wasn't very good, and died before it really got off the ground though.

>>
>>52661602
>Can the magical power granted by Vestments of Fate/Freedom be used to enhance your non-Order Magic?
Maybe? Anything channeled through it would probably count as Order magic and something too "chaotic" would probably just noto work right, though.

>If, theoretically, you were to give the possessing Lord its own body, would it render the artifact a useless trinket?
No. In DoV, Nabu is killed but the Helm retains its ability to empower people.

Also, I'm pretty sure I described it as being the "ghost of a long dead Lord" or something. So no, you won't have someone to whisper magical knowledge to you, but it won't make it useless.

Not a big fan of how much you conflate game mechanics with the way stuff works. There aren't really "motes" of mana in the stories, the mages just have a pool they draw from composed of the mana they can draw.

This is a fair critisism. I put it in more as a way for me to measure how much your getting from lands and to give me milestones in my head. if there is enough push for it ill rewrite to further separate but it gives me a good frame of reference for what people can reasonably do with x amount.

I'm a bit disappointed that most of the lands have a special effect of "summon elemental". That's not really your fault, you based them on cards that mostly just did that, but I would have liked more variety. Oh well. I'm mostly going to buy them to have cool properties following me around, anyway. The special effects are just a nice bonus, so I suppose it doesn't matter much.

I think a short description of what elementals are actually like could help

>Adapted to Change

How applicable/difficult is this to invert a particularly compolex spell, like using a spell that controls pure desruction to create something? I'd recommend some examples of when it might be impossible and/or increasingly difficult to invert a spell.

How does this work in worlds without mana-do you simply have to supply your own?

>A Devoted Dagger

Not sure if because WIP, but it could use a nice fluff description like the other items

So, I know enough about Gotham to know one certainty: NOTHING EVER GETS ACCOMPLISHED by trying to change the place from the top-down.

The obvious solution? Start the jump by checking myself into Arkham and spend a year or two in rehabilitation! "Doc, ya gotta help me! I've gotta a terrible phobia of killing people, have I got a second personality that loves killing people? Probably calls himself the Terran Manhunter or something". Which is good PR in the long term-nobody ever suspects an Arkham success story to fall off the bandwagon again! Even better-all the crime is concentrated on one asylum instead of spread all over the city!

The only problem-my presence draws the mad like flies to honey. It's been awkward fighting Orderly Man while tied in a straightjacket when the chair I'm strapped to is my weapon of choice. Arkham becomes ground zero for a custard pie war between me, the Joker and Ra's' best ninjas. Who deeply regret their career choices.

I spend most of my time being "rehabillitated" by writing up criminal evidence and law enforcement technologies and mental healthcare plans, and giving them to the staff in exchange for good behavior.

Coincidentally, genius playboy billionaire Bruce Wayne suddenly takes an interest in the ramblings of a local madman right before the police make an unprecedented amount of clean arrests.

>>52661895
...I always mix those two up. Does the DCAU crossover with Marvel a lot? Because that's where most of my superhero lore comes from, at several removes.
>>
>>52662248
Not, it's been a rule that you can't access jumps that are completely unrelated to one another. So you can't use Doormaker to get from Star Wars to Marvel, but it's totally fine to go from Marvel to the MCU or from DC to Young Justice. This is not different and is, in fact, even less of a big deal because of how interwoven the events of multiple Planes are to the storyline. It'd be like saying you're stuck on modern earth in the Doctor Who jump.
>>
>>52662248
>you cannot access 1 jump for another thats been a rule for ages.
...Only if they're completely unrelated. It's always been cool to go from one jump's setting to another if they're actually connected in canon. And that's MtG's whole schtick.
>>
>>52662292
>Does the DCAU crossover with Marvel a lot?
Uh, no? As far as I know, the DCAU has never crossed over with Marvel. And the crossovers with the main comics continuities are dubiously canon, at best.
>>
>>52662292
No, there are no crossovers beyond a couple of the actual comics to my knowledge.

Though Marvel has been known to have their characters acknowledge that DC comics exists in their universe.

But then we either take down all the MtG Jumps but one or you end up with people being able to do whatever the hell they want in the universe for decades in a row.

And also Marvel blatantly stole Barry Allen when he died the first time (Back then heroes that died actually stayed dead for quite a long time) under the name "Buried Alien" and he showed up during a race of all the speedsters in the universe.

Buried Alien won hands down, and became a local superhero under some name or another that I can't remember at the moment.
>>
>>52662347
>or you end up with people being able to do whatever the hell they want in the universe for decades in a row.
Oooohhhh noooooo, what ever shall we do?

And besides, that wouldn't even matter of the jumpmakers didn't offer intercontinental drawbacks. Everything would get reset and no changes would carry over.

>>52662248
Why are we suddenly treating MtG as if each plane is like a seperate unrelated multiverse from each other.

I can understand not jumping from DC to Marvel or Ben 10 to 40k or something like that.
But why is jumping from place to place in the same local multiverse forbidden? In the current DC jump I can go to a huge number of worlds within the local multiverse. What's so special about MtG that it warrants such a "no dimension hopping to unrelated worlds" when they absolutely are?

>>52662347

I dunno senpai. I'm just noting the extra limitations are needless. If the Blind Eternities is so dangerous it's best to just warn about it and have the jumpers figure it out. Not strip them of their options "for your own safety lol" before they try. I don't really see a reason to put these "safeties" in when the setting naturally acts as an effective obstacle.

In some settings where dimension hopping casually is a thing. So I don't know what makes this special enough to warrant "Safeties" on top of the fuckery of the blind eternities.

>The DBC or Doormaker from Worm should be able to do it.
Works on parallel world theory which is patently not how MtG Cosmogony works. You could jump to a parallel of the Jump you were in but not to another world entirely with it.
>The Second Magic from Fate should also be able to do it.
Again the above statement.
>Probably the Portal Gun from Rick and Morty, but that seems more risky.
See above.
>Hero BBS magic could do it casually.
This is the first thing that I can reasonably believe. Even then the casual use of magic by Wayfairer shows that you have to walk through the in between, which is nowhere near as bad as the Blind Eternities. I think Sage can aim a tunnel for that maid chick but that may be the long and short a level 8-9 can do.
>And there are /canon examples of doing so in MtG/. Hell, it was a major plot point in Kaladesh.

>Again the above statement.
Val was asked about it today and said it could be used to do so indirectly by jumping to another timeline and then reentering your original timeline in a different dimension.

>I think Sage can aim a tunnel for that maid chick but that may be the long and short a level 8-9 can do.
Well reaching level 10 isn't that hard for a jumper.

I will admit to not having read kaladesh because i got so colossally sick of the gate watch. i will go read it now as this shit may be important.

also to the many others commenting on in setting jump to jump travel this is actually a good point though it does feel wrong to me. mtg planes are fully functioning worlds that for the most part don't intersect.

i will think on it and discuss with merch, metal parts and whoever is working on kamigawa as they are making other mtg jumps. no promises either way on this one.

Still not going to work since the other Planes are not dimensions of the Plane you're in.
>Val was asked about it today and said it could be used to do so indirectly by jumping to another timeline and then reentering your original timeline in a different dimension.
How would that do anything other than take you to an alternate history of the Plane you were in?

>>52662956
Eldrazi are monsters beyond the usual kin of beasts. They're all either so tough they can just tank the Blind Eternities or they are all born innately with a New-Walker Spark. They eat everything about a plane in general, down to concepts. They're tough enough to get sealed instead of dead to a group of older New-Walkers.

As for the Plane thing... a few times we've been given hints that some Planes are full on galaxies and other Planes are just what we see. Kamigawa is the latter, I think.

ok they managed to do that to ulamog and kozilek they got shut down HARD trying the same in innistrad on emrakul. nahiri ugin and sorin didnt think they could kill them as old walkers. bfz is screwy in a lot of ways but they were using power similar to the conflux bolas wanted to use to regain his premending power so this wasn't a small amount of power being thrown about despite them being nu walkers.

Emrakul is also noted as being the strongest of the 3 both by wizards and the story and she fucked off before the final fight.

Phyrexians are a race of people mostly created by a man known as yawgmoth who artificially ascended to a form of godhood by betraying a oldwalker and killing her then taking over a plane for himself. He then used a mix of magic and science to turn humans and animals into phyrexians through a process known as phyresis, its basically a race of cyborg body horror with black mana. Warped and twisted beings of bone metal and flesh spurting their glistening oil and commanding the magic nanobots called flowstone.

Looks cool to me.

I'd personally like it if there were any (lesser?) scenarios that wouldn't require A Grim Certainity, since I'm not too keen on dooming an innocent plane (or two, considering Innistrad).

And treasurehunting/archeology expeditions in a shifting hostile world seem cool.

>Lull/Roil Mage
How does this work in other jumps without, you know, a Roil?

>Lithomancy
So, uh, where do we stand with the perk? Can we do the common stuff, or also some of the more advanced things?

And does it also give talent in the art, or just starting skill? Mainly asking because I kinda planned to have pic related teach me when I get her from Innistrad.

>A Feast For The Gods
So, with these 'summoning patterns' I could summon these lesser Eldrazi normally instead of having to lure them, and just have them do what I want (contrasting with the uncontrolled unleashing of a Titan the perk also allows)?

>Network Notes
Would having Lithomancy and Sangromancy help with this? Conversely, would it help me do Hedron stuff with Lithomancy?

>The Unreal Crown
This thing's cool. What's the three-spike appearance based on? I mean, obviously Kozilek stuff, but did you have any particular Eldrazi's look in mind?

>Waterfront School
The notes call it the 'lakefront school'. It's easy enough to figure out what you mean there, but a consistent name would be nice.

>the Wyld (which is dangerous because it's made up of dreams and narratives)
Technically true, yes. Since the Wyld is the border zone between Creation and Pure Chaos.

Pure Chaos itself isn't made of dreams and narrative though. It's infinite possibility, the utter antithesis of reality, and has no central traits at all.

Any coherence is a matter of chance, not anything coherent.

Most beings' minds shut down from sensory overload when they enter it, trying to cope with infinite change happening around them. Simultaneously, they start mutating beyond recognition, before dissolving into chaotic elements entirely.

It does shape itself somewhat to those who enter it, providing some sort of dream-like experience... But only because their Creation-born reality forces some stability on it, for however long they hold onto themselves.

Not even the shaped Fair Folk can actually live there, only Unshaped can.

And then there's New Phyrexia, which has more colors than black. Still fucking "evil" for everyone else, except maybe red which has gained the capacity for empathy and is doing their bests to ignore the mirran refugees everyone else wants to kill. Not helping them, but not attacking them, letting them stay in their home if they don't bother them.
They are ashamed and afraid of their feelings.
Red Phyrexians are potential Bros, in a way. At least the ones most likely to be out of the phyrexians.
>>
>>52664388
I mean, I wasn't the original guy who suggested the Wyld is somewhat more hospital than the Blind Eternities but. You can fish Protoshinmaic Vortexes out of it, Unshaped not only live but seemingly THRIVE in it enough more predatory subspecies of Unshaped evolved rapidly enough to exploit an ecological niche after the Balorian Crusade-and of course the Primordials dwelled for countless aeons among it with no natural predators according to the devs. Which seems to me like, the place is metaphysically very nutritious.

So the impression I'm getting is-the Wyld/Pure Chaos and the Blind Eternities are reality-melty for opposite reasons and only look similar superficially. One's a mana-leeching void that just happens to be able to be shaped into substance, the other's a massive sea of potential that grounds down most things through sheer ecological pressure.
>>
>>52664393
>Red Phyrexians are potential Bros, in a way.
Not really no. Red Phyrexians are "Rebelling" against the current rulers because it's in their red nature. As soon as that changes they'll change sides.

summoning patterns will let you summon mtg style doesn't work on the actual titans tho.

network notes having either of those willl enhance it a lot if you have lithomancy and those you would be able to make hedrons.

lithomancy i'll clarify more in next update i had serious trouble writing that perk as you seem to have mtg context with about a decade you could do stuff like create a new helvault. given 2 or three decades you'll hit nahiris level. starting out you can craft top end gear map out stone while meditating and wield the hedrons. possesing the notes will speed up learning as will any learning speed perks.

>Ingot slaves are the native Phyrexian humanoids, hooded, leather-clad, and mostly faceless, who cast and extrude the metal from the furnaces. They vary somewhat in size and shape, but all speak minimally, and when they do speak, the sound is a guttural scratching that only other ingot slaves can understand. The ingot slaves have recently been curious about Mirran humanoids, particularly Vulshok, who they furtively observe while working when possible.

What would happen if only Urabrask was remaining of the praetors, nobody knows. He might get over this "empathy", it might never go any further than what it is, whatever. But it seems clear that the red mana has granted them some degree of empathy.

A Demon's Interest [+300] Ob Nixilis. At least we have a reason to fight now.

Okay. First priority, keeping the Eldrazi in their fucking cages.

Second priority, demon-binding.

Fourth priority, mess with Jace.

I know i said Blue was next, but i figure i should give you guys some stuff while i work on blue. That way, i can get some feedback on the general phyrexian stuff.

100 CP (Free Phyrexian Origins) –A Body for a purpose: You were made to fit a purpose in the Great Evolution, the path to perfection-whatever you believe that is. As such, your body (which will become an alt-form after this jump if you so wish) is made out of flesh and metal, in the way other denizens of New Phyrexia are. You may specify a purpose you were made for, and your body will be adapted to it- things like “carrying molten metal from one place to another” or “killing fleshy things really efficiently”, for example, or simply be somewhat of an all-rounder, something almost unheard of in this land.

• 100 CP (Free Phyrexian Origins) – The imperfections of the flesh : The flesh of the Mirrans was weak, their bodies flawed- You find that, after the improvements made to yours (or despite them, perhaps), you are resilient to the drawbacks your appearance would imply- Flayed skin showing muscle won´t get infected, extra limbs seem to not get in the way, and flesh doesn´t seem to rot.

• 100 CP (Free Phyrexian Origins) – The imperfections of the flesh : The flesh of the Mirrans was weak, their bodies flawed- You find that, after the improvements made to yours (or despite them, perhaps), you are resilient to the drawbacks your appearance would imply- Flayed skin showing muscle won´t get infected, and flesh doesn´t seem to rot away. In short, purely aesthetic things in your appearance will not cause problems with your function.
(removed the extra limbs part, because its meant to be about aesthetics, and extra arms... well, they aren´t just for show)

Ultimate Reed Richards/The Maker is also implied to be fucking Doom's mother, who has been restored to life as of currently unexplained reasons.
>>
>>52665775
you know doom blaming richards for all bad things in life would be less believable if he didnt do shit like this
>>
200CP (Discount Phyrexian Origins) -Infect the Body: Glistening Oil , also known as Phyrexian oil or Ichor, the substance that corrupted the Father of Machines and gave birth to the glorious New Phyrexia, infecting its inhabitants and giving them the desire to compleat themselves- to replace the imperfections in their body with machines, and which you may now generate from your body in small amounts. The one you´ve picked up is not quite as insidious- at least not without you meddling with it- but it retains its ability to better enable the fusion of machinery and flesh when the patient is submerged in it. Make them perfect, Jumper. Note: Basically, submerging people in it makes it easier for their body to adapt to the merging or replacing of their body parts with machinery. It would take about a month to produce enough to submerge the average adult male.

This might need some changes, thoughts?

Like, shit dude, it's the only way I can explain bancho's asshattery after seeing him accidentally shows glimmers of understanding things. It benefits him in the long run too. Think about it, if you act like a total moron then, while extremely disliked anyways, no one believes he's actually fucking around or trolling on purpose when he actually wants too.

>>
• 400CP (Discount Drop-In) – Perfection through Sacrifice: The flesh is weak. Your insight into the worlds of the living and machinery have revealed that much to you- the designs of whatever creator gods of the universe may exist are flawed, imperfect- and by damaging these designs in you- by sacrificing your own lifeforce, whether it be through drawing your own blood, tearing a chunk of your own flesh, or simply offering your own raw lifeforce, you may substitute the cost of supernatural abilities you have with it, empowering them with the ability to slowly Infect those hit by them- corrupting their mind so they may embrace perfection. This is a slow process, and might be downright impossible for the strongest-willed of enemies – But you´ll never let that get in the way of your Great Work, will you?

Perfection through Order- 600CP Discount Machine Orthodoxy: You´ve become a master at manipulating the little people- molding their beliefs and ideals to better suit yourself, able to place yourself as the leader of a grand, wide-spanning religious system through guile and charisma. You carry yourself with a elegance befitting of your status, and your allies are emboldened by your presence, becoming stronger and more durable, while your enemies are struck by awe, being similarly weakened. I really dislike using actual biological creatures, since they would be left behind once you leave the jump. I stick with my robots.

Also, just giving them brute strength might not be the best in each situation, and if they're Saiyans they're going to need a lot of training.

One way to inflate their power levels would be giving them an insane regeneration factor (being a Czarnian might not be enough) and have them put under a constant Kaio-ken.

You probably want to give them something like the Sting (Worm) or Dimensional Slash (Overlord) if you want them doing anything against a mage. High-end magic resistance would be nice, too.

If you're feeling specially nasty, adding effects like Soul Eater's artificial madness would really be a nightmare for anyone fighting them without the madness.

Funny, I like using biological creatures for that expressed purpose. That being said, I also try to build them up to be independent and raise them right and what have you so they can exist and thrive even after I leave. That'd be cool. You might also be able to do it as a general/undiscounted perk, since the Golem Foundry/Forge stuff isn't phyrexian. But personally I'd put it down as Phyrexian.

>The capstone will probably be given something more once i have the rest fixed up, and bring them all in line at once. I just wanted to show one of the capstones.

They don't come with extra memories or anything, nor do they give extra discounts over Hermit.

Black is the colour of ambition. People who are predominately Black in alignment are the sort of people that care only for accomplishing their goals, and have little regards for anything that doesn't personally matter to them. This sort of outlook does lend itself towards traditional evil and villainy, but you don't HAVE to be evil if you wield Black mana.

Oh no, I'm trapped in a video game world with a bunch of asshole slavers. I'm also a jumper with a boss to entertain. I can open portals between worlds. There is very little math to be done here. I have to go to my favorite corner store to get some smokes. And then Liberation.

After that I think I'm going to start one of those annoying good guy guilds that goes around butting into other people's business and causing trouble. This place could probably use some good guys. Or at least something to balance out the ludicrous amounts of torture. I mean, I'm immune to torture and being sealed in cement, but it's just unsavory. It might help that I can actually kill things and stop them from reviving, though. Being a decent source of actual death is a grim mercy, but it's one I can provide. There are forces at work here, and I'm going to set up a functioning society that isn't based on being a dick because you can get away with it. And that's hard, but apparently this state of affairs isn't going to last forever.

Ah, nice and creative. I'm glad you didn't chicken out and do something boring like hanging or the electric chair. After all, if you're going to send a message it needs to be special, and that needs creativity.

You know if you pumped in a weak acid like tabletop distilled malt vinegar or even lemon juice, it should hurt a great deal more. Also a rather wierd but agonising way to die it to be injected with milk, just as a suggestion.

contd.
Actually, I wonder, Bancho, was he aware he was being filmed, and did you have a competent cameraman aiding you?

I can just imagine for a character like that, the humiliation of begging and screaming for you to stop and let him go, later turning into pleas for a quick death, being just as bad if not worse for him to endure.

Knowing that your cameraman was getting all the right angles to let everyone in the world know his shame and see his degredation first hand, would be such a blow for justice. For added points keep him nude and without any defence throughout, keep him a naked wicked soul.

I am sure all those kids and their parents who so easily could have lost them to this evil wicked man would find a sense of solace and even delight in seeing him crying, soiling himself and writhing like a maggot on a hook, no longer in a position to threaten them for their families. In facts they really should record it for posterity.

>>52667712
>fit in before he burst
Oh, how far did he go before he popped like an overfilled balloon? Come on Bancho, it'll be our little secret

Also, you know in SCP foundation, there a neat perk that basically generalises organ and tissue function throughout the body, and is implied to be adoptable through genetic treatments. If you gave him that you could have filled him up much further, letting his righteous suffering last that much longer.

Also, if you are going to want to see how much it would take to make him burst, it would be good to treat it like a scientific study, a proper experiment. So use the same means you used to rejuvinate him to retore him back to health before he expires and do it again, perhaps three times and then take an average.

Make sure he knows that you are going to to put him thorugh the same punishment again and again until your satisfied.

I really wish I had this on tape. It would be so amazing.
Please tell me you used clown makeup on him, just for added humiliation, maybe burnt off his mustache?
Nice to know you used properly lighting as well. Too many people think that keeping this sort of thing in the dark makes things better somehow. But being a witness to darkness is no fun, you need light to see, and for an example to work, everyone need to see it and learn.
A bit of drama, a bit of flair, those are the trimmings you need to really bring the main course of the lesson into the hearts and minds of the viewers.
I am really enheartened to see that some people here already understand that, especially you, Bancho.

>>52667916

Yes, good point.

>it wasn't about humiliating him
I believe you Bancho. But there's no shame in admitting that it was an added benefit.
Very prudent of you to take precautions like these, though. Good show. Mustn't let someone try to steal the potency of your message by pretending that he was still alive after the fact.
It is important not to confuse people's natural rigeous indigation against such a character with such nonsense, they must have a certain life-denying hate towards him, as is only appropriate given what he tried to do.
Again I applaud you for pursuing justice even where other jumpers make excuses and fail to act, merely on the basis of the genre of a given setting, as though that somehow excuses evil.
>>
>>52668264

Just a question to you Bancho.

Did this villain have an accomplises, or close acquaintances who were in some way culpable for his perfidity?
>>
>>52667969
You know, as a moralfag I'm mostly offended by them referring to any of this as creative. It's all just fairly mundane stuff you could find in a random serial killers basement in the normal world. There's no irony, or poetry, or even actual though in what Bancho's jumper is doing. Just a flat expression of power over a target that he's deemed acceptable as usual, with the most fun being his blase ignorance of how seeing someone tortured would affect the actual human beings that have to watch it. I mean, the 99% that aren't masturbating to it like you two.

Ah, it would have been amazing it you'd take some inspirtation from Saw and have them futily fight one another for the slim hope on getting out alive.
I can just imagine it, two dirty, humiliated figures clawing and biting one another in a small cage, writihng agresively in their collective filth, hoping that killing the other would buy their freedom and in a little corner of their minds or hearts, hoping to be killed themselves to spare them from what they know is to come. Just going at it with such fervour driven antagonism, like rabid beasts no longer human.

Did you fill her up with rock salt as well, or did you spice things up a bit for her? Perhaps fire ants, or a nest of maggots inserted into an open abdominal cavity. Waterborarding is a good, is somwhat unoriginal way to start things off, ya'know, get the old blood pumping.

If they had an other friends of family, forcing them to watch their friends and family get punished for their no-doubt irredemable sins in myriad creative ways, that do not have to be televised, but in for a penny, in for a pound, would really take a cut and scrape a proverbial razor along it.

Cheese graters and hand-blenders are also something I would recommend should you find another unworthy villain in future, Bancho, they are not just for the Kitchen, they are also for feet and bellies.
>>
>>52668449
>Usually that means having lots of debauched sex and destroying anything you find personally offensive, but some jumpers are pretty weird and have some strange endgames.

Honestly, given the scope of Jumpchain and the many perks in it, you don't even need any mind-control or even brute force to get the former, and for the latter you probably have enough acceptable targets in any universe to satisfy your needs of gratuitous destruction for 10 years.

And while I'm thinking about Val, hers is weird. She's a vore fag but inside her is some kind of heaven, or so she claims. It's like she's manipulated her degenerate fetishes into some utopian vision. Just like Karl Marx. It probably works as well in practice too.

Heck, even most Satanist depiction of the demons are not nearly as nice as other religions with their main gods.

Like that futile masturbaster Rapestate., I mean what would be the point?

They have to remember, they have to hurt; otherwise I am just wasting my time.

If they aren't scarred and bleeding, suffering and remembering, unable to heal or even share their pain with another, then why would I even bother. Oh, I'd do it even then, but it would be so unsatisfying like a low-carb meal.

Remember, kindness is fleeting and real sadism is for ever and ever. No take-backs.

>>52668615

I respect your position but would like to invite you to consider it more often in future. Half the fun is in the building of expectations and pulling them down.

I apologise, I forgot myself. I understand that this is a matter of justice, not vengence. It is not appropriate for me to take any pleasure, beyond such as: the satisfaction of a job well done, as in your case, or as a third party, the satisfaction of seeing evil be punished.

Three, my current chain has like a year+ of backstory that I've only really shared with one or two people on skype so talking about it would just be confusing, so I only rarely mention bits. It shouldn't matter if those specific ants are or are not guilty of killing a human, and in any case they are being paid a free meal for their role as assistant executioner / torturer; afterwards they definately will have contributed to the death of ahuman and will need punished in any case.
It makes perfect sense if you don't think about it.

Besides, even generally Innocence doesn't matter if it saves lives. It's all prespective really. Remember when you were young and everything was bright and wonderful, then times passed and you change and innocence becomes a fleeting dream. >>52668897
I dunno, it's just kind of weird to me. Isn't the point of the "slice of life" genre to be, you know, a /slice of life/? To jump it for its interesting characters seems to be missing the whole point, which is that there are interesting"characters" and events in any world, no matter how mundane. You just have to look.
>>
>>52668881
Ah, fair enough.
To you include humans exclusively in your definition of intelligent life?

>>52668888
Rape is cudgel and is lazy selfish stupid and pathetic and worse things besides. It says nothing good about a person that even considers it, even I know that.
It is also a RL serious subject that I don't want to trivialise just because some jerk a while ago did so. Please don't associate me with him again.
But breaking people, can and shoud be an art form. A little tap here and three, a word, a whisper and it comes tumbling down.
But if your going to demolish a building and take pride in changing the world rather than just touching yourself inappropriately at the sigh of explosions, then there is no point in reversing it. All you've done is undo the change you've made to the world, and that's a bad.
Of cource using that without distinction is an evil thing, it is far better to use it against the deservng for the betterment of the greatest number of people you can manage.
No one would weep for the Joker for example if he was systematically destroyed on live television, except for a certain brainwashed psychologist. And it would serve the world well to see such a sight, if only to prevent copycats.

I came up with like 8 answers, but the truth is that there isn't really one way to improve the multiverse, as each universe has it's own needs and ways that actually work in it. And then I got lost browsing the Fallout wiki. Mostly, I just deal with problems in the way of the universe improving itself. If that means killing, drawing it out is pointless. Death is unclogging the pipe that good things flow through. If that means dropping tech on the world, I do that in a manner that allows the worlds to at least feel like they uncovered it themselves. A few papers published and proven over a few years is usually enough.

Mostly, I try to be an example rather than make an example of others.

Power fantasies are different for different people. Some people want the power to blow up the world, some want to rule it, and some want to try every non-meat based smoothie in all realities. I'm pretty sure Red's the last one.

Yeah, that's the point of the genre. And the point of a jump based on this series is that you get to be with the characters and situations the setting shows and be in this particular slice of life.

Mostly, I just like the series. It's an existing setting, I like it, thus I make it.

Worthwhile causes, friend.
Still you've given yourself quite a challenging task. But I understand and value what you are aiming for, and I understand the thought process that can lead you to this.
When you have a system like this where there is the potential for so much power, that modest little whisper of what is and is not fair and just in the back of your head starts to get louder. You have power now to affect real change and where before they were ignored and suppressed due to powerlessness to act on them, now your wants become needs, imperatives you could say.
It is the role of the powerful to create equality for everyone, even if you need to drag everyone down to the same level.

It doesn't, there's a lot of people who came out a few threads ago speaking of good times and positive personal experiences. It's just shitposting and memes due to the nature he left and a few people who genuinely dislike him, such as the guy who built his opinion off one experience.

The problem with Communism is, was, and always will be the Human Element. People are dicks, are they will attempt to take advantage of the system. People need to improve before Communism is viable.
>>
>>52669424
You couldn't use communism as Marx describes without it degenerating into a totalitarian state because he places equality as a value to strive for.

Equality never comes about as a result of policy to promote it, it comes about as a natural consequence of liberty.

So while mechanically... yes maybe, I don't know how a free and liberal people would react to handing over resource allocation to an algorithm. But the philosophy of communism is rotten to the core.
>>
>>52669454
>>52669462
I think you'd have to delude yourself pretty hard to think that there's only one person out there who hates him or wants to get in on the shitposting. And neither the fact that he handed his jumps to Brutus nor the fact that people associate him with shitposting more than jumpmaking are false.
>>
>>52669572
Likewise, you'd have to delude yourself pretty hard to not notice there's a predictably banal trend of shitposting where someone berates Dirge and expects everyone to agree with him.

At this point it doesn't matter if it's one person or more. They're all cunts, but they're far from the majority.
>>
>>52669550
But if you fixed human dickishness then Communism would serve no purpose. It's a catch-22.

If the shitposter is doing this for self gratification he's going to twist people's words around to suit him no matter what is said. I'm sure people having an overblown reaction against him gets him off just as much as people that ignore him. And given our last several hundred threads, your best case scenario is bloody unrealistic.

okay apparently the Posts are too old for me to delete.... but I did try.

Would SAVE the World be enough to reach Sayaka once she turns Witch and bring her back? Trying to figure out a way to make sure Madoka still makes the 'destroy all witches' wish while also keeping all the magical girls in the main cast alive, and I'm not sure she would unless she saw someone turn into a Witch, someone she knew. She's kind and selfless, but a good part of her making that wish was seeing Sayaka transformed, as well as Kyubey's whole 'We've been doing this since the Stone Age" thing.

No, Banchi is apparently a covert term for stiff nipples that poke through your shirt or something. Banchi was however trying to be food themed, including plans for a cherry club and whipcream canon brazier.
>>
>>52669953
It doesn't help how readily people in these threads label any conflicting opinions as shitposting.
>>
>>52669990
Oh, and if it's not enough by itself, what could help with that?
>>
>>52669712
Dammit, EA. Being the antithesis of all Virtue, is MY JOB.

Well, human's have done pretty well for yourselves. I'll give you that, you aren't completely helpless when left to your own devices.
Thousands of years of civilisation, making up councils and courts and parliament of sheep.
But tell me, what do you see when you turn on the TV and look at the news.
Is that a world you are proud of. That sheep can be proud of.
Your world is imploding. Your way of life self-destructive.
It is either the Shepard or the Butcher for you all.
But for all that I love you.
as I love all that is doomed.

Now now Bancho. We can disagree on something without wishing for the other to hang himself.
~Dragon Sigh~ You've disappointed me Bancho. Bue don't worry, I'll forgive you. You're too much like me for me to stay angry at you.

>>52669851
I do fuck with people in general, but am i fucking with people in general right now, or rather am I fucking with people in general any more than I normally am, who knows?

>>52669906
I am sorry to see that Bancho.
Please don't let mainstream opinion tell you that you are wrong for not toeing their oh-so-important line. Theirs standard are arbitrary and no more or less legitimate than your own.
Don't let yourself be bullied.

I FUCKING KNEW IT WAS YOU, EBBY YOU FUCK.
>>
>>52669994
Nono the brazier was shaped like whipped cream no cannons in it. The cherry club is still in though.

I need to right for cooking show then batman then madoka then the purge. Did purge get a drawback to be a normal jump?

>Dammit, EA. Being the antithesis of all Virtue, is MY JOB.
Okay, that was legitimately funny.
Good job, anon.

You seem to be missing a simple, simple fact:

Being a dick because other people are makes things worse, not the same as they were.

Is that so hard for you to not overthink? Don't be a dick when it's not even entertaining and there's no point, that's all I'm saying.

>>52669990
>>52670011
I think SAVE is meant for the cusp at which she's right about to turn into a Witch. Though there's The Cure, from Supernatural.
>>
>>52670001
It's because they bring those opinions up knowing the kind of reaction it'll get and will argue about it for fucking hours that it gets called shitposting. Usually there'll be some falseflagging to associate it with more conventional shitposting to make the entire thread decide that it is in fact shitposting.

It's so weird to remember that years ago, EA actually made great games with relatively few issues. Mainly LOTR cashins, but still.

Hasnt shown anything but propaganda in years.

Fine, the "Ebon Dragon" will never reply to your posts again.

Unless he feels like it. He is kind of a dick. It's his thing.

He does have something to say to you though:

"Bancho, you're a good guy and while I would not trust you with much if any real power, I can tell you're a good sort. Sorry if I hurt you, it really wasn't my intent."

>>52670080
Mass Effect was alright on the whole. It's just there was so much lost potential there, especially the end to ME3.
That said there was so much hype, maybe they'd never have been able to meet it.
>>
>>52670067
Most of this thread runs on rehashed topics, you're not going to escape from people rehashing debate points unless you start regulating discussion on which jumps to talk about. There's no way that's going to fly either.
>>
>>52670110
That makes up for one and a half wars of middling-size.
Crust with cheese in side it makes up for another half-war of middling-size.

Still some way to go before the books are balanced.

I have been working so god damn hard to get Better,to be a person This community doesn't literally attempt to murder and the honey'd poison in your posts took all that away from me for a stupid role-play....
>>
>>52670109
We've seen a couple of emote fags pop up recently. I'm not sure why this trend is starting to kick back in again. It reminds me of Habbo Hotel. Either that or this general is now a RP general as well.

>Bancho was played like a fiddle by the Ebon Dragon
This is the best thing I've seen all month.
>>
In the chain who would I have to waifu for the most magical babies?
>>
>>52670110
Maybe, but countless people from many places refined it to what we have now.
>>
>>52670112
Which I could've made peace with, if they'd made proper bossfights instead of that arbitrary ambiguous deus ex machina shit.

As I see it, the real problem was the people working on it really, really wanted to make a light novel instead of the videogame they marketed it as.
