yes. i cant remember the name of the game but the GM used the magic 8 ball as a mechanic. any time we asked a yes or no question he would use it. it quickly got out of hand before we realized the power of the 8 ball.

a few rhetorical questions later we where dealing with a city in flames and there was nothing we could use to banish the demons in the entire city.
