It's strong enough to take him from just Neutral to Lawful for me.

His code serves an ulitmately lawless profession, he dfected from a lwaful organization, and opposed organizations that sought to impose law.

Plus, if you want to bring gameplay into it - instigating faction war by stealing faction artifacts and planting them into opposite faction's hold (which is optional, but so is highest difficulty) is chaotic.

Hmm fair point, I tend to abstract "Lawful" as not being related just to "law of the land" ones own ethics count too in my mind.
