I can imagine kitsune and tengu, Pathfinder wise, coexisting with orcs and hobgoblins and humans and such, without much disconnect or furry shit. They're foxpeople, not 'furries'. People often take them as furries, but they're drawn without using conventions common in furry art. They have actual foxheads rather than 'vaguely fox-inclined' heads.

That's because archetypes and classes always use the pronoun of the iconic shown. Seriously, it's true, unless the archetype clearly shows a differently-gendered character to showcase it (and even then sometimes they forget), a class always refers to the gender of the iconic. But artstyle is very relevant. Like, compare the art Augunas gets (Particularly the faces) to the art Paizo gets, and to pictures of fox faces.

Mostly the faces and head shape. Furry art tends towards a much more samey kind of face, even a lot of the more skilled artists fall into this trap. This is because they learned to draw furries from other furry art, so it's a self-perpetuating cycle.

On the other hand, it looks like the artist of Paizo's stuff was entirely separate from that. They saw 'foxpeople' and looked at actual pictures of foxes, resulting in headshape that actually looks like that of a fox, very pointy.

It's an aesthetic I really like, personally. Like there's that one picture I keep swearing I've saved but haven't, of a group of three catpeople adventurers fighting off some dudes, and they have actual catfaces. It's similar to the effect created by Monster Hunter's Felynes.

Is investing a part of my WBL into making Leshy Flytraps viable? Any tips on raising that 50% success chance of succeeding at planting one if the campaign is not exactly geared towards it?

I kinda like the idea of having a Leshy amalgam as a scaling companion for my Druid, but at 3k GP a pop with only 50% chance of succeeding, I'm not sure it's worth it.

I play mostly Half-Elves, Humans, Changelings with little sprinklings of other races. All of them are mostly female for reasons I can't really specify. They all just end up that way.

I've never actually played a Halfling despite how much I like them as a race. I guess it's because they don't really benefit from going martial and that's pretty much all I ever play. I could go mounted but I don't particularly like that playstyle.

I gravitate towards Dex/Int races/classes and it's starting to infuriate me, but there's not much I can do about that. Tieflings are my go-to race whenever I start thinking about a new character, while Alchemist and Investigator are my go-to classes. Elves have that -con that kind of hurts to look at, which means I've yet to play one, but they're cool as well, and Magus... Well, it looks functional enough that I want to try it at least once. The race that I just can't seem to stop playing, though? Half-elves. Fucking half-elves. The ART for the Will save bonus that stacks with Iron Will puts a nice patch over my paranoia like nobody's business, and they're general purpose enough to fit anything.

Like, 99% of my characters are dudes, because I don't really trust myself to play a woman most of the time. The one time I made and played one it was #83, so that doesn't count.
