Anon, I think you might be a newfag. I must remind you that animal people have been in MtG for decades. From the Hurloon Minotaurs, to Cat Warriors and all the various cat races such the leonins, nacatl, and rakshasa. Then we've got the nezumi from kamigawa and ol' Ink-Eyes herself which was embraced by the furry community.

A little off-topic from the whole "cute minotaurs" thing...but I hate how the artwork in Fling is never done to fit the card. The minotaur looks like he'll be completely fine as he'd being tossed. I know another Fling art has a zombie head getting lopped off, which isn't much of a "fling" either. Lastly, there's one with a goblin. That one at least looks like it's being flung in a more perilous fashion but the artwork is ugly as all hell.
