Anyone played Wilderlands of High Fantasy here? City-State of the Invincible Overlord, or any of the other Judge's Guild stuff from the 70s and 80s (which had a small comeback under Necromancer Games)?

I haven't, but you should check in the /osrg/. Its more likely someone there has played or at least read them.

Thanks, did already, just trying to get some more interest from people who might not visit osrg.

I think you will find that these days the vast majority of roleplayers only played linear story driven campaigns
Not that theres anything wrong with those but hexcrawls and sandboxy games are just very rare.

And before anyone ask my post is related to this thread because wilderlands is a book made for hexcrawl

I love the hex crawl premise of the whole thing, and I especially love the random tables.
I love it so much, I'm working on a scifi inspired variant. Hex crawling through the stars.
Random tables everywhere. I love them.

Oh, cool, starspeed then anon. I love the random tables too. Kind of soothes my autism.

don't die
So here are the suggested colors for the Chromatic Wizards by school:
Abjuration = Yellow
Conjuration = Orange
Divination = White
Enchantment = Pink
Evocation = Red
Illusion = Blue
Necromancy = Black
Transmutation = Green
