Friend of mine was running a fallout game, and wanted someone to record radio bits for him to play inbetween the fully-fledged radio station he put together for his players to listen to while they roam the wasteland (he goes all out in his games). Was supposed to be just a recapping of the news, but then I started going a bit off the deep end, embracing the Enclave, with my recorded segments, and went from news guy to...well, I was one step short of deus vult.

Was fun shitting all over his murder hobo players, and they liked having that extra bit of immersion when a ranting announcer with a 1920's radio guy voice starts calling them all sodomites and rapists of the elderly, and blaming them for all the worlds problems.

Ancient Aboleth Afflicted Apprentice turned Animated Armor. Basically, Keeper of the Elder Sign Paladin who used to be a young cultist born under it. Despite being essentially a ghost in armor, creative use of telepathy from his Warlock levels somehow got him laid with a 19 year old Monk. DM was using DRYH to half-ass Call of Cthulhu and was moderately successful in pulling it off. He told us to make teenage characters, I made a 15 year old Japanese-American tomboy. It was clear he thought i made this choice out of some sort of weeb fetishist thought processes, a notion he was disabused of when i had her RRREEEEEEEE and clock a schoolyard bully for stealing her baseball bat.

The game ended with my character clubbing a minor demonic entity to death with the butt of a shotgun and getting committed to an asylum. The rest of the party was dead.

Bit late to go through the whole story but basically the last party royally fucked up trying to defeat the evil empire in our 13th age campaign (we MAY have gotten the rebels all wiped out, invited an orc horde to invade the place and triggered The End of Days as a final fuck you to the empire before peacing out) so we kinda organically came to the conclusion that we'd finish the last ~25% of the campaign with new characters.

Since my previous character was a senile, old living saint of God (as in Jehova/ Yaweh "God") I thought it would be funny if my next character was someone he had accidentally Lazarused. And what better target than the kobold cook who the party basically forced to join the party and was then killed by said senile Cleric's evil half-brother! And better yet! Let's turn that poor kobold that had been one of the few in his tribe to show skepticism of the old saint's divinity and turn him into a true believer, a PALADIN, post-resurrection! And finally let's curse him with eternal life, not the cool vampire kind either but the Beric Dondarrion "lose a piece of your mind each resurrection and your wounds don't really heal" kind (with the understanding with the GM that he didn't know if his next death would be his last or not)

So I created this broken monster that only has God and the mission his "savior" fucked up, that has suffer a dozen deaths just trying to find the remnants of the resistance, and the rest of the party turns out to be even worse off! We have a chick driven nuts by the adventure going through groundhog's day-like loops until we finally win, an emotionally unstable sorcerer kid that just wanted to live a normal life and some weirdo, emotionless kid that's part of a religion that can only ever have one member (some sorta reincarnation deal).

So, being the only (sane) grown up in the party, the brainwashed, walking lizard-corpse became the group dad keeping the kids out of trouble and quoting The Bible to teach lessons.

It turns out, if you take a kid who watched his girlfriend die to demonic creatures, and give him powerful magic, he decides he has both the right and the duty to ensure anything remotely related to said demons dies.

He meant well, when he healed npcs who had no significance on the plot.

He meant well, when he stopped bickering between two armies because so many lives had been lost to the fiends he had lost someone to.

And he meant well when he burned out nests of fiendlings who could never had defended themselves if they had weeks to prepare.

He meant well when he spread word of his location to the fiendlings grieving mothers and fathers.

He meant well when the two prior armies used his last sacrifice to deal a savage blow to several families of fiendkind, effectively ending 70% or so of their bloodlines.

The GM later said that the scant survivors on the side of the fiends felt it was worth it- all the lives they'd lost, the bloodlines erased- just to kill him.

Its probably better than it sounds because
1) there was like this subconcious competition the group had to create the most fucked up character possible (which reached its highest/lowest point when we were running one shots for a while and I created Not!Dr. Mengele and someone else made a sapient xenomorph)
2) The fucked up parts of our characters are often played up for laughs. For example the character that kept experiencing the adventure on loop would roll poorly on a knowledge check and describe the item in question at length before realizing "oh wait, that's from the pirate timeline nevermind!" causing us all to wonder what the she meant by that and never getting a real answer

I have a touch of rules-lawyer-ness. In that I know what the rules say, and like consistency, so DM sees me as annoying sometimes because they (by their own admission) don't know all the rules. I'm actually cool with houserules, rules of cool, especially. Houserules that cut down on fun are shit though and should always be contested. Also, my character has high cha so in character can be long winded if he gets riled up, tries to persuade a lot, deceive, etc. Which never works despite good rolls.
But so really, I just hit people with my sword and burn things.

Right. So, I made an Oni tiefling inquisitor basically revolving around being blatantly unashamed of his body, had the brash personality of a barbarian, and worshipped a god of war, whos divine weapon was a greatsword (I really just wanted the greatsword)
Come first game, I talk about how there's all these wacky tables for rolling what tieflings can get/look like, and we got a couple that I can't really remember, apart from an echo voice when none should exist, and Big and Sharp teeth.

DM took the collaboration of these, and actively viewed my character as some kind of eldritch abomination with like a human hand on the end of his (admittedly pretty lithe and dexterous) tail, but also acted out what he would think my character would say based on roleplaying, and while it was great every time, I eventually ended up talking like a very boisterous explorer or hunter, full of vim and vigor. It didn't help that part of the reason I joined the adventurer society in my backstory was to explore uncharted lands and see the beasts that reside there.

On the ulquiorra bit, I started out appearing pretty strong, but was actually not that great compared to the rest of the party, wasn't in my stride yet. Combined with a few feats, items, and interactions with the party, I got absurdly strong. I could tank any hit and often attempted to as part of who my character was. I eventually started doing absurd shit, could unleash what was essentially a martial nuke. I was outright slaying boss level enemies with single attacks, and was so terrifying that most humanoid enemies just fucking collapsed. I actually with teamwork feats got a "teleports behind you" move. The character was completely for fun, but it became something a powergamer would drool over.

I was the parties chef/rationer, as most the others had issues with each-other, as well as being rather unable to lie convincingly at all. a -2 charisma score and something like -2 bluff will do that.
I was also the person who had to tell most of the party members to chill the fuck out. We were being full murderhobos to a group of brainwashed paladins, and it got to the point where we were trying to outright murder a friendly monsterous NPC I had to say slow your roll friends, lets look at the plus and minus's here.

I spoke quite a few languages naturally, and even had some spells (tongues, some others), but between my abysmal cha, my roleplay way of speaking, and my general nature, it was mostly ignored in favor of more aggressive options. Despite my strange origins, and even though I'm obviously scarred, I'm still alive, where I'm sad to say most of our party isn't. For example, our bard went out the way he wanted,
making a rock hard pun at a gorgon, but I mean he's technically not completely dead yet, we ended campaign trying to figure out how to cure him.
It's worth noting that I didn't really realize it before, but I actually got a helmet as part of the adventure path that functioned a bit like the removing a hollow mask. If I wore it, I got less asian, got faster (haste), and more intimidating instead of more bishie (-2 to certain stats, +8 or so to intimidate)

I don't think this meme works well with traditional rpg characters. It's great with, say, books, or more rigid classes in videogames, but for something this flexible it really boils down to >>52600163 in almost every case, and "female thing, waifu wish fulfillment, gender-neutral version of thing" or the same shit in all three fields in most of the rest. Just the same joke that isn't really funny to begin with ad infinitum, or even no joke at all. The furry tank is the closest to an exception itt, it's the second one except it actually has a punchline.

At least some of the stories are fun, but that's just using the shitty meme as an excuse to share amusing warstories.

When all was said and done, Vallaki was left without any living native nobility. "Lady Wachter" said she was leaving town, and the people should answer to Ismark Kolyanovich from now on (who reluctantly accepted this position).

Writing this up, I realize that I've left out some details about Ismark and Ireena. Something else involving them occurred simultaneously, but that's another story.
