Routine Performance (hand it a guitar and you have personal background music. Or hand it puppets to operate, that could be fun. Or just an extra few copper, assuming you can find a way to make it last a day.)

Forage and Gather food and water for exactly one person while moving at half its overland speed
Navigate in moderately simple terrain
Track a medium creature in soft ground, or a group of 5 in firm ground

Gather information on commonly known facts and rumors (may need some help asking the question if your DM rules it is also silent. Try giving it a chalkboard.)
Improve the attitude of a friendly but averagely charismatic NPC.
Ask simple advice or directions from indifferent NPCs, or simple aid or detailed advice from friendly ones.

Tell lies and possibly succeed (though worse than believable likely has no chance of success).

Discern lies as well as any other uninvested party member.

Intimidate a very impressionable and weak person.

Craft simple and typical difficulty mundane items (you'll have to shenanigans to get to stay alive long enough though.) Alternately, if using alternate crafting rules, it can craft very simples in 4 hours, but nothing more complex.

Succeed disguise checks against the extremely unobservant. It should be noted though that you automatically succeed when you don't draw attention to yourself; it's not until you draw the attention of someone suspicious that checks get made.
Add a Hat of Infinite Disguises for some really weird shenanigans.

Treat House Centipede poison, Blue Ring Octopus, Greensting Scorpion, Viper, or Scarlet Spider poison, or Pufferfish poison with a healer's kit.

It has a minimum +40 to stealth, so anything that requires a 50DC stealth check?

DC to activate a magic item blindly is 25. It automatically fails by 10 so it causes a mishap. But, it's immune to backlash because it's not damage over an area, so you either get nothing or a free activation, just on someone other than its intended target. As long as it's hitting AN enemy, seems fine to me. Just try not to be in range.

Failing to disable a trap si ply triggers the trap. Unless it's an alarm or an AoE, that's good news for you, your servant is fine as are you and now you know what the trap does. If it's one-time use, you've even disabled it.

Then there's this beauty:

Of note, in addition to being unable to swim, fly, or climb, it will automatically fail any long jump more than 2ft, or as well as a high jump of any height attempted, due to the -8 from its 15ft movement speed. Though failing a vertical jump doesn't really matter for it, it can't fall prone due to being shapeless.

Play a harp of Shattering (object only, can't attack)

Or a Pipes of the sewers. Sure, it can't attack, but nobody said it can't command an army of rats that can attack. And since it plays ceaselessly, the rats don't leave til the servant poofs. Heck, even if it fails and they turn, what are they gonna do, bite it?

Drop Caltrops, Thunderstones, marbles, pick them back up again as well.
Retrieve and fold your nets.
Reload the crossbow you just handed it then hand it back, rinse and repeat.
Drop Oil. Strike a tindertwig.
Same for parchment with explosive runes and tindertwig.

Many of these don't work as they ignore various parts of the description of the entity and break common sense.

For any task requiring knowledge of something or basically any mental stats there's the annoying problem of it being mindless. It's basically as smart as your average insect, shambling skeleton, or dutiful golem aka not at all. It can't talk, it can't play music, it can't really do very much at all on any skills that require Wis, Int, or Cha

For actions which require a body to hide things, such as legerdemaining a coin or such, it's shapeless and without form. So no hiding things on its "person".

And for actions which require a visible component, its got no form and thus is invisible.

Basically the spell is meant to recreate the often seen thing of the wizard lazing around while the dishes are cleaned or a hole is dug and such things.

If your skeleton can keep watch, so can it.
If you skeleton can go search a library and find the right book on a subject you need then so can it.

And since it understands common, if you told it "go listen to these chumps, then come back here and write what you wrote" it can do that. too. Whether that mean it carried a sign asking a question, or it was just acting like an invisible fly on the wall;

And none of the things mentioned has a visual component. You don't have to see it, just something it's wielding.
