I genuinely wonder how Goblin Slayer would be statted. He's strong, but not inhumanly so. He takes on entire hordes of goblins with ease, but that's solely because he has made slaying them into both an art and a science. He knows their weaknesses in and out, and uses all kinds of clever tricks and tools to exploit those.

I guess he'd be some kind of not-shit ranger who also has heavy armor proficiency.

Right considering that the Priestess is literally filling D&D character sheet.
Goblin Slayer would be lvl 13 Battlemaster, t Huma. Point buy for 12,16,16,12,12,9 after racials. As fighter he got 4 ASI. 2 for maxing out DEX, 1 for Alert and 1 more feat which I'm not sure off. Medium Armor Master, Sentinel or Shield Master can fit.

You'd be surprised how good your vision is if you have enough slits in your mask. Peripheral vision naturally takes a hit, but that visor would probably let you see pretty well.

I've worn helmets before & I know how a number of smaller slits can let you see front just fine.

It's seeing anywhere but front that's the problem & especially because he never seems to lift the visor, assuming he could.

Out of all the things he does with his helmet, how he SEES through it is your problem? We've seen him eat and drink without his helmet on. If he can somehow do that, he can see through it just fine... somehow.

It's pretty vital to getting the job done. It's also pretty important to the whole practical & realistic angle the series attempts & fails to convey.

Again, he drinks through his helmet. At this point his helmet is somewhat of a (subdued) running gag.

Well he has proficiency with a lot of weapons but preffers to use a medium armour (lamelar armour with a chain shirt, leg/arm guards and full helmet).
So far it's shown he has developed a great understanding of goblins and their tactics.


He's a melee ranger without magic.
