Energy Damage is cool, and often highly resisted. It usually requires you to use a boost to bypass it, rather than using that boost to actually do something like "do damage to another dude" or something.

Spheres of Power question:
Is there any way to reduce the cost of a sphere effect (from 1 to 0)? I'm fine with paying with something else like increased cast-time. Heck, my build is flexible enough to possibly even take a 1 level dip for it. Possibly.
See, I'm really interested in making my destructive blasts into line effects, but Sculpt Blast costs a spell point. I can't really justify spending a spell point to tickle the enemies for 2d4 with a reflex save for half. (I'm deliberately taking a bad blast type for flavor reasons.)

I wouldn't mind reducing the range of the line to Close instead of Medium if that's what it takes to lose the spell point, but I'd like to see if it's possible to accomplish without asking my GM for help.

Rinka is a weird sheet with her Gulch Gunner archetype, but she can do ranged combat and is probably fine. Might want to consider swapping up her gunslinger archetype as i don't think she will have any real reason to get up close with a frontline like that.

It's a short game set in a tournament setting, the first team we encountered was all monks who had evasion and negated/evaded 3/4 my damage easily.

Then we fought a big enemy with 23SR, which I was lucky enough to beat on both of my attacks. I carry two different elemental metamagic rods in case a creature has fire immunity.

Let's kick off with the strong points for the character. Good art, a cute character premise and good motivation to adventure. She wants to find the guy who gave her the reason to awaken. She's lonely. No personality conflicts could possibly emerge other than her maybe teasing too hard or playing a nasty prank that goes too far, but even that seems unlikely.

Her personality is a little sparing. I want a bit more about the fox's drives and desires, how she feels about being left alone, how she feels about her mentor, etc. Her demeanor is well-described, basically, but nothing that operates under the surface.

>Backstory: 2/5 it's effective but lacks a trigger for her current adventuring and doesn't have enough feelings about her current plight.

Just for fluff. Mechanically, there are stronger applicants and Swashbucklers don't really have a role, but there was some genuine effort that went into this character. It's a risk, though, because this kind of effort means the player is quite often bad in the moment. Good at longform but bad at improv.

A full caster, which is sadly necessary for a Pathfinder game. However, his character embraces being an elf in a way that isn't a Tolkienesque ubermensch or a wacky deconstruction. I'd be eager to see if it holds up in play.

Yes, yes, I know it's a catgirl. But like the others, there was a real labor of love put into the backstory as well as having a demonstrated knowledge of Golarion in general. I like people who are in tune with the setting, even if their character could be seen as waifu bait. Watch out for this character reminding the DM how the setting is "supposed to be".

This one feels like it needs some explanation. The backstory being delivered in point form is kind of weird, but it was clearly thought out and is complex with plenty of hooks for the DM to grab onto. That's big, even if the character feels like they would be sort of a wallflower to me.

I picked this character because she's different from most of the other apps. She's untainted, as it were, by a lot of the moral grey of Golarion's setting and this area in particular. Not to mention that she has links to a lush and green natural world that sharply contrasts the sandy wastes. Contrast is necessary.

It doesn't actually take a lot to tell a complete backstory. Keeping the more purient aspects of what was probably an abusive upbringing among the drow implied was a good choice, because I it allows us to cut to the meat of the character's backstory. She ran away, joined wandering performers and was able to reinvent herself.

Like a lot of victims of abuse, she's a bit depressed even though she's in a good place now and has trouble shaking that. Her vigilante alter ego allows her to shed her baggage and explore a much happier and better adjusted person. Again, a positive example of a character who brings a bit of baggage to the party but can mostly carry it themselves without requiring the GM to handle everything, which I consider to be the best for PCs.

As a side-note, Bard/Vigilante sure is popular. Nothing wrong with that, though.

Overall I got nothing I'd recommend here, other than doublechecking some prose in the second backstory paragraph a bit and expanding a bit on her drives/desires, as well as her feelings about the drow and backstory-related stuff like oppression and bullying.

Coyotes meanwhile have an instinctual behavioral response to wolf predation to avoid wolf territory and switch diet to small mammals, which then puts them in competition with other mesocarnivores and raptors.

I'd run it, but I'd pick specific characters rather than just used the "most meme'd", for the sake of cohesion. I'd also have to exclude my D2 character but that's no big deal.

The plot would be 6 characters from various bamboozle /pfg/ games managed to escaped their doomed worlds and are trying to destroy/conquer the /pfg/ multiverse. The six /pfg/ characters have to acquire the legendary dimensional-hopping Spelljammer, The Great Bamboozle, to stop them. One session each in a /pfg/ game world that none of the characters are from (LoBaF, Blingmaker, Shardwalkers, etc.). Then one final confrontation and the game ends.
