I can't fully speak for your situation because I'm nowhere near as "unconventional" as you, and I'm straight as can possibly be, but I do sleep around a fair, and I've been in a similar situation more than once.

Honestly the only thing you need to do is get fit and lurk around a Chad and his friends. Most people are pretty decent after high school so if you start hanging out and aren't actively creepy they won't mind, even if you don't say much. If you do nothing else from what I posted, at least try going for a run every day. Not him, but TSS rarely affects fertility, and while some of the symptoms and the timeline match up, some do not, and rash is an uncommon symptom that is usually not present until later stages of infection. It seemed more like the story was describing some of the shock images of completely necrotizing (purple and black/blue) flesh around the vulva, and the draining brown pus of a wound, which is not TSS and the kinds of infections and trauma that would cause that wouldn't progress that quickly from daytime on a Sunday to Tuesday morning, less than 48 hours later.

I don't doubt that there is a fucked up girl posting stories about this in the internet, and she MAYBE even stuck maggots up her vagina and got TSS, but after reading through her posts I think it's more likely that these stories were greatly exaggerated if not completely fabricated. Not saying someone like this actually existing is completely outside the realm of possibility, but the symptoms not really lining up with the timeline and the exaggerated way it was written makes me believe it's much more likely that this is just another person that gets their jollies from sharing their over the top fantasies online, and embellishing the truth.
