Duck tales game?
Have double fun and throw it together with the Dark Wing stuff.
Have the quest be about find some credulous treasure named after a duck, or something vaguely or overtly Disney.

This. Actually... if we were so motivated, it would be interesting to see what /tg/ would do with a Duck-verse setting if of a played it straight. Maybe even go over the top and toss in Mighty Ducks(the cartoon) as their version of Canada.

Read the original 1950's comic run. It's based and Lucas said it was one of the chief inspirations for Indiana Jones as well as being the original inspiration to all of anime.

Players are distant family who just found out that their Grandpa/uncle/whateverthefuck is Good Ol Scrooge. And Scrooge knowing he's getting on in years is looking to pass down his wisdom and maybe just maybe an heir ~~Who he will gift NOTHING in his will...except maybe his first dime in order to inspire them to surpass him. And that's only if they manage to really impress him.~~

alternatively, nuclear armegeddon wrecks duckburg.
everything is an irradiated wasteland, for miles around the dudes moneytank (because of course it can withstand nuclear bombs).
run post apoc treasure island to find this dudes cash.
bonus points for finding his dusty corpse clutching his first, the removal of which will cause the uncountable and insane boobytraps to go off.
