How would plate armor work on something with four arms?

With more gaps and weakpoints.

I'd imagine the middle armpit would probably be a choice dagger location. maybe they'd use a similar material to pic related?

You could reinforce it with chainmail too and chances are you don't want to grapple with something having twice the arms you have.
>>52352186
Differently. It would work differently.

This. The gaps would most likely be covered by flexible mail, and good luck getting a dagger point through that.

It would be considered nonhumanoid, so it would have twice the price for a single set. If it were also large, it would be 4x the price, or 8x if it's a huge creature. Page 123 of the Player's Handbook, bitches.

Very well, I imagine. Give the lower arms shields and he'd be invincible.

what about duel wielding long handled axes?

>make a huge sized 4 armed pc
>give him two tower shields that are extra big for his size
>they're as tall as most men
>all he has to do is hold them horizontally in front of him and nobody can hit anything but shields unless they jump 5 or 6 feet into the air

with four arms? that'd be a mess... have 1 two-hand axe in the upper arms, shields in the lower arms would function, or 4 smaller axes... its impractical to wield something like two berdiches, how would you even do it? one held by both right and one by both left hands? you can't swing that properly; one held by the upper amd one by the lower arms, same problem
