That's true on 6*6 board. 8*8 is still unsolved (unless there was a recent breakthrough I'm not aware of).
If you mean the board situation in the image, assuming the white is going to take corner with the next move, yes, it's pretty much a sure game.

Yeah, I mean on the board there. That's the point of the image if I'm not mistaken. GM has rigged it to win. And to punish with the surroundings I assume.
>>52352546
>GM has rigged it to win.
I would rather assume that the game reached this state though both sides trying their best and the white simply gaining advantage gradually via better choice of moves.
This doesn't really translate into GMing all that well, I guess.

About 18 miles an hour if my math is right and a round is six seconds.
>>52356195
The duration is 24 hours and you gain +10 speed per round of that. So 144,000 feet in 6 seconds I think, but I should have gone to sleep hours ago.
>>52355940
Its from Valve's official webcomic.
>>52356166
Home production is not only a fun minigame, it's a good way to give a character some depth.
Assuming 3.5 from now on, as it's the best system for it. Usually, buying pets and creatures is cheap. A dose of Wyrm poison costs 4500gp, exactly as much as an actual Wyrm. To cut costs, you can capture one and hire an exotic domesticator for less than 100gp. You can milk a poisonous creature with a DC 15 Handle Animal check, then craft the usual dose with a DC 15 Craft(Poisonmaking), or a DC 19 Craft(Alchemy). All the DCs can be automated with Expert NPCs that cost about 1gp per day each, if you don't want to do it yourself. Followers do it for free.
For dosage, a creature can make as much poison as it wants, because each attack applies poison. For a milking method though, a low estimate would be one extraction a day. That way you actually has something to do on your days off and the time in-between missions is well spent developing and caring for your small underground poison farm for personal use.
And that's how I rogue.
>>52356242
Taking that further, you end up with just over 16,363 MPH or just over 26,329 KPH.
Supersonic starts at 915 MPH.
At 16,363 we're pushing into the Mach 20 range, as Mach 25 is 19,031 MPH. Anything over 19,031 MPH is classified as re-entry speeds.
>>52356242
Yes, you're right. That's about 26334,72 km/h, or Mach 21,5. It's substantially faster than the fastest unmanned spacecraft humanity has ever created. In fact, it's 11.38% of the speed of light. At this speed, you're consistently into the realm of light time distortion when you move.
All in all, your body should explode before you reach 1/100 of that speed in such a small time frame. Your dismembered limbs should do about 100d6 of damage each on whatever is in front of them, reflex for half.
>>52356242
24 hours = 86,400 seconds
86,400 / 6 = 14,400 rounds
+10 feet per round = a total of 144,000 feet per round, for one round
or about 240 miles per hour.
I think.
>>52356535
Nope, shit, messed up. Forgot to convert stuff. Disregard me.

Ooh, shit, some of this guy's art is pretty good. Like this.
Apparently they're supposed to have strapped loads of engines to the biggest remaining piece of Alderaan and are using it like a spear against the death star (what look like loads of spikes on it are escape pods).

Something something lolicon

The technical term is Moyel jackass.
>>52365208
That would have been a way better conclusion to the movie (though it would raise the question of why they built a death start instead of a bunch of rocket rocks)
>>52354300
fuck that's my character portrait basically

It isn't, your cats will eat you if they were the size of a lion, they don't form bonds like dogs and their owners
>>52368443
Your dog will eat you the second you stop breathing, a cat will at least wait a few days.
>>52368443
>citations needed
If that was the case then people who see their cats after years and the cats snuggle with them incessantly wouldnt happen. Just cause the binds are different doesnt mean they dont exist.

I'd watch it.
>>52356323
I agree. Having the characters create things, be they poisons, weapons, or magical nick-nacks, always serves to develop them in a neat direction and often fits in very well with giving the party some sort of HQ or home to go back to, where all their supplies are kept.

Dogs have been bred to find validation in being given attention. Over centuries, we have literally altered their brain chemistry.
Your dog doesn't actually love you. You're a button that it uses to jolt the pleasure centre of it's brain when you give it attention.

Because Relativistic Kill Vehicles are a fire and forget weapon, and tend to be extremely wasteful and only usable once.
More confusing to me is why the Death Star isn't just shooting it's main gun at the RKV.

>More confusing to me is why the Death Star isn't just shooting it's main gun at the RKV.
Look at the dish, it's charging it up. Doubt it'll fire in time, though, and even if it does an explosion that close will probably wreck it anyway.
>>52365208
Why is the Death Star covered in spikes?
Just gonna jam a few images in before achive. Feel free to repost them in the next thread with an actual name.
>>52369343
Wouldn't matter. That's the beauty of the RKKV weaponry. Even if you blast it into pieces... You still have a ton of debris flying towards you at a significant fraction of light speed. Even if the death star gets it's shot off in that scenario, it's still beyond fucked.

>>52369502
No, look at it, why does the Death Star have spikes with red lights on the end? Unless they're supposed to be missiles? I don't remember the Death Star ever having missiles
>>52358433This is my hole! It was made for me!
>>52369615
it's in the post text. those red spikes are escape pods. the spikey bit is exhaust and the red glowy bit is the pod.
>>52369570
I know how they work, but the bump limit has been reached and we still got over 10 images left. Best not to let them go to waste. Plus, I am not good at names and just dumping so others can be inspired.

>Blow up giant spike of rock heading towards you at .33c
>Cloud of smaller rocks heading towards you at .33c
As soon as the RKV reaches it's effective velocity, you lose. There's no real way to stop it after that point unless you predicted it far in advance.
Hey guys if you're playing RPGs and you have to argue with your GM maybe you and your GMs shouldn't be playing together
Theres a reason theres a master in GM because hes the fucking narrator and if he doesn't do his job well the game is dogshit
Either abide by his rules, try to reason with him or leave the fucking game
