Would your party help a girl safely through a forest, /tg/?
>>52343925
ITS A TRAP!
KILL IT!
>>52343925
>hand behind her back
We'd try to stab her then get scared and run away. That's assuming we didn't all run away in the first place.
Knowing some of the retards I'm with, she'd probably kill at least one of us by accident.
My party probably would. But would know perfectly it's a fey and it will cause weird shit to happen. That's why all the party got cold iron at hand at any given time.
>>52343925
Little girl my ass. She's got more weapons than my entire party combined.
But hey, at least we'll be safer :^)
>>52343925
If it's specifically pic related then it's the forest that needs protection.
>>52343944
>IT'S A TRAP!
Yes!
>KILL IT!
Wait, what? No.
Of course. The only thing more obvious than the cliche is the reverse cliche of she has nothing to hide. Though the bard might try to fuck her.
>>52343944
>>52344011
Dubs confirm that we should kill it.
Anything that looks like a little girl is not to be trusted in these parts.
God dammit, I've gotta take the risk. It's what my character would do. He knows it could be a trap, but if there's even the slightest possibility that the little girl is genuine he has to help.
>>52343925
Rape then discard.
Being a demon-blessed evil berserker in thick black armor?
First I'd play dollies with her to calm her down and then safely escort her home.
What the fuck do you expect me to do?
I would accept this girl's offer to help me safely through a forest, yes.
>>52343925
Why would she need help?
She can already seduce and dominate the Big Bad Wolf!
>The DM did a jokey red riding hood escort mission, basically the little girl transported magical foodstuffs through the forest and kept getting mugged by a wolf frequently
>The bard had the bright idea to dress and behave like the girl and travel separate of us while we just smuggle the girl normally
>She rolled high enough perform and good enough charisma, against DM expectation, to pull it off
>Annoyed DM to get back at her, had the (anthro because eating magical food overtime) wolf turn Tex Avery style frisky when he caught her and found out "Little Red" wasn't so little anymore
>Cue uncomfortable rape scene with talk about "What big" body parts were involved
For what it's worth though, we managed to escort the girl safely.
>>52344543
Here's hoping this was an ERP game, not a regular game.
>>52344011
my answer to fey?
Pocket of cold iron filings.
>>52343925
>What's in it for us? We gotta get paid somehow.
>>52344609
>cold iron
Stop.
>>52343925
I don't trust that face, and she doesn't look like she has a lot of money. Probably not.
>>52343925
Probably.
Last time, the lost girl in the woods was a werewolf... That wasn't fun.
But the two times before that, we got a nice boon from the local fae for our good deed.
>>52343925
I use magic to dispell glamours and see if she is really a girl in need of help
>>52344582
It was actually a regular game, but the bard/player didn't mind and thought it was more funny than anything. For being a good sport, the DM made the wolf fall in love with her and she gained him as something of a follower bodyguard.
>>52344733
What is this heresy
>>52344543
>Annoyed DM to get back at her
That's a dickish move yet reminds me of this
>>52343925
My party?
No.
My character probably would. The rest of the party generally would be the bad things she would run INTO in the woods.
>>52343925
You shouldn't go into the Wild Wood if you haven't got a gun.
Its a very nasty world.
>>52345089
Is it really such a nasty world?
>>52343925
Sure. Either we help someone or get to kill something interesting, so it's a win either way.
>>52344609
Anybody got the story of one anon's solo campaign where his character (who was just a regular villager from bumfuck nowhere) had to venture into the woods to retrieve a magic flower to cure his sick grandfather, and ran into a little girl who helped him reach the glade the flowers grewand who was the daughter of a hag? That was nice and creepy.
>>52343925
>fang
>hand behind back
>prolly holding a dagger
>loose clothes
>short
Yeeeeah, that's a wererat.
>>52343925
Well, yeah. We're good people.
>>52346254
Good and dumb, yes. see >>52345607
>>52346367
Only dumb people look at a cute girl and say "Yep, that's a were-rat."
>>52343925
If it is that girl likely not. Given most of the party is monsters and she has more weapons then an army division. We would get eaten alive by her.
>>52343925
I mean, probably? We're playing a Battletech mercenary game right now so it's not like it would really be any trouble to grab her and take a minute to walk her through the forest.
>>52346492
Mercenary, really?
>>52343925
My sensors detect an improbably large number of firearms and ammunition on the girl's person. I calculate a 0.37% probability that threats within the woods will pose a danger to the girl. Therefore, I would ask the girl about any relevant information missing from my analysis before accepting any offer to escort her through the forest.
>>52343925
Note: This is my WoD party. All of this argument would be in the first tongue.
The Hunter in Darkness would say "Kill it" (It's probably a spirit), Blood Talon A would tell him to shut up (It may not be). Blood Talon B would agree with the Hunter (why not?), the Iron Master would agree with Talon A (don't be a dick). This argument would go on for a long, LONG time. If it IS a spirit, it'll have to wait for the big bad wolves to cooperate.
>>52346367
Yes, because having a were-rat with a dagger stalk you through the forest, making stealth attacks and going full vietcong on your ass is vastly preferable to having a were-rat walking along you in plain view. As long as you are the one who will lead the way to avoid possible ambush, it's better to be able to watch your potential enemy.
That's assuming the party needs to cross the forest as it is, of course.
And assuming that you are not ready to murder/disable/talk her out of attack right here and now.
>>52346561
Yes?

Free hireling.

After my last GM, I'm sure no one would trust that thing

/tg/, pls, don't tell me your knowledge of qualityguromanga begins and ends with Franken Fran
>>52350444
Too edgy and confusing.
>>52343925
I know how this adventure ends.
>>52350479
>>52343925
I reckon we must help her. Anything less ain't Justice.
>>52343925
The paladin would insist we help her, claim the moral highground, and smugly insinuate that this makes him better than us.
The barbarian would be a massive dick to her for no reason and then go off to fuck some other dudes.
The wizard would start autistically making irrelevant skill checks to find out details that don't matter, and then he would never address the girl directly.
The bard would simultaneously bitch about this being some kind of fey trick, and about how it isnt directly related to her own personal character arc.
The rogue would sit quietly in the back of the group, being both incredibly shady and incredibly irrelevant.
And the warlock, once he realized she has no magical artifacts, would proceed to hit on his npc waifu and ignore the rest of us.
So we would end up helping her, only for it to result in some dumb argument that is irrelevant to the current situation.
[Spoiler] Guess who I am.
>>52350732
You're the warlock
>>52344842
The power of Midnight Bliss
>>52350479
>>52350522
Her english name is so dumb
>>52350744
Nope.
The_____bard
>>52343925
Of course! This child is merely performing the Lord's work banishing the world of disgusting, wretched daemons, and I for one would love to teach her the finer points of marksmanship!
>>52343925
I am in two groups.
Group 1: We either teleport her to where she's going or walk her through the woods for shits and giggles. If anything happens during the walk there is a high probability she'll be killed.
Group 2: We naively agree to take her, completely ignorant of what dangers await us.
We'd let her tag along if we were passing through the forest anyway. If she's really an ordinary little girl, nothing is lost. If she isn't, we get to kill her and rape the corpse. Win-win.
>>52344609
If I ever get to play changeling and encounter a True Fey, I'm going to go full dale gribble
"POCKET FILLINGS!"
My party would probably kill her(one would then fornicate with the corpse) then the party would chop it up, and then sell it in the nearest city or town as "mystery meat". The sad thing is we've already done it. Twice.
>>52343925
yes, but only because of me
as the only Lawful good character in a party of "go with the flow" types i tend to set the Party's direction
>>52353685
>selling her meat after fugging the corpse
I'm pretty sure that's a violation of USDA regulations, anon.
>>52343925
After judicial applications of psyniscience and scanning equipment to ensure she's neither a demon or mutant, and after having a talk with the Arch-Militant about snapping her neck if she tries anything suspicious?
Yes.
>>52353733
I never said it was me. I play the Chaotic Neutral(using D&D group for this) half-orc rogue. My character would turn a blind eye to it for the one piece of silver. Considering the fighter of the group is the one likely to do it, there is one alternate situation I can think of. He would keep the corpse, take it to the castle we own, and throw it in the massive gore pit he keeps in the basement. This is also going on the basis that the moralfag sorcerer doesn't get in the way.
>>52353816
>He would keep the corpse, take it to the castle we own, and throw it in the massive gore pit he keeps in the basement.
What the fuck. How- how is that any sort of enjoyable?
Why? Just Why, with a capital W?
>>52343925
Well we did actually. Me and the party dwarf are old timers and were competing to see who got to give her a piggy back ride. I won, and, much to the chagrin of the rogue and sorceress who hadn't gotten to tell us what was up before I started giving her a piggy back ride. somewhere in the middle of the forest, she was supposedly leading us to the kobold lair. Turns out she had a knife and was planning to gut me from behind when nightfall cameshe was a werewolf it turns out.
>>52353835
I don't really know. I don't care(which probably says something about my own personality) and neither would my character. He enjoys it for the edgy ultra grimderp jokeyness of it. He even has an Igor style npc to help him run it.
I wonder how this'd look in WoD. Wolf is a werewolf, and the hunter is a Hunter, obviously, but then who is the girl and the grandma? A Gangrel visiting her actual granny who is, unknown to her, a Mage, maybe?
>>52343925
That's Bulleta. Why would you help her? Just run, nigga.
>>52344219
Especially if it's a little girl, I got shiv'ed by a five year old at that last market.
>>52344342
Make her into a traveling companion and the two of you proceed to get stuck on a boat for over a decade?
>>52346492
>Hachet
So, one of you is basically already piloting the Woodsman than?
>No one cast "detect evil".
>>52356709
>nat 20 knowledge check
>>52343925
Ee be a good neighbours and help her out.
When the GM smugly announces we've been betrayed, My character would shake his head and give them a hug, saying he was disappointed but would help them through their obvious problem.
>>52344342
You. I like you.
>>52356709
We're probably already surrounded by her hunting buddies.
>>52344342
>demon-blessed
It's a trap anon. She's going to kill you.
>>52343925
That canine is suspiciously sharp. I cast detect evil just to be sure before I smite it
>Latest character is a shadowy human-turned-fey with a theme of ravens and wolves
I get the feeling she might not take me as Legit, but as the Lord of Wolves the Big Bad one is getting his ass recruited to join my Everconquest of the First World
>>52344609
>>52344011
Its the opposite of a fey
>>52345607
You mean an uzi
>>52346367
>>52346382
She's a hunter, and a psychopath.
>>52359109
>She's a hunter, and a psychopath.
Those who hunt monsters...
>>52343925
As long as she's traveling close enough for it to be convinient then of course.
And if my DM decides to fuck with us i'll just give him the most dissapointed gaze making sure he knows i look down on him.
>>52344609
The answer to fey is to mind your own business, stay out of the sketchy parts of the wood they own, and to always attend church on time and baptize your children, trusting in God to save you from the unknown.
>>52344543
And this is the reason why only lardasses continue to enjoy this hobby...
>>52350815
Since she is an obvious refernce for Little Red Riding Hood, is B.B.Hood which is a combination of the B.B Wolf of "Big Bad Wolf" but they were forced to give her a full name. I mean the Japanese name is Bulleta which is just low tier random bullshit for a western audience.
>>52344647
Iron weapons crafted without smelting.
Literally taking an extremely large chunk of raw unprocessed Iron and making a blade or mace out of that by filing off what isn't needed.
ugly as sin but canonically (through many worlds and systems) the only kind of weapon that will really hurt the true fey.
>>52359109
>uzi
Pretty sure it's a Mac 10
https://youtu.be/X8CkSw4hVog
>>52360392
It's actually just a flowery way of saying iron or, more broadly, the threat of attack.
There's no way to make steel without heat, but I'm sure you've heard "cold steel" in other contexts. Same meaning.
Against fey, it typically wards betrayal by showing them you can take revenge.
>>52362003
There are settings where cold iron is a separate thing from regular iron, though. Like, y'know, most D&D settings, which is what 90% of people here are playing in.
>>52362003
>>52362187
I always thought cold iron refered to 100% pure iron with no carbon content. Something that isn't found in nature and thus anthema to the nature-based fey.
>>52362806
Nope. Fey are double crossing bastards who squimmishly step back into line after you hold a knife at their throat.
>>52343925
After making her cut her palm with a silver dagger and pressing a cold iron blade against her wrist, sure.
>>52362003
Sure, except in many settings Cold Iron is literally a different thing to regular Iron. The classical definition is not the only one which exists.
>>52362806
You can fight off fey with a stale baguette, mate.
>>>52362806 nature-based fey.
Fey means "weird" or "otherworldly."
They spook animals as bad as they do people.
