Was trying to describe the old idea I once saw on tg - of a Steve-Irwin inspired campaign in a Monster Hunter style setting, especially if you throw in viewing the world like he did in the old movie - through the lens of his conservation efforts and protecting the wildlife.
So I caught myself wondering, what class would Steve Irwin be? I wanted to say Druid at first, but Steve was a showman - so I was thinking Bard. Then I remembered crossclassing was a thing, so was thinking Bard/Druid.
I am not a smart otter, so I submit the question to the Court of /tg/.

Monk too, he wrestled wild animals into submission without (usually, sadly) hurting himself or the animal, which takes skill.
To maybe some weird Druid/Bard/Monk abomination.

Urban Druid
Or just a Ranger.

This?

That was part of it, yeah. IIRC there was more to that specific set, and usually ended up with him being sexed up by whatever it was.

Don't worry, I've got those ones too
Revenant Ranger.

>Bard/Druid
Has anyone, anywhere, ever played this combination in a game

one more after this

There was a specific prestige class from 3.5 that progressed both classes, the fochlucan lyrist.

Wasn't being a druid for some period a prerequisite for being a bard in some iteration of some edition of D&D? You had to be a million other things too but I think druid was the penultimate class in the chain.

Last one

My next character is already going to be a tribal bard, so I guess I'll have to say I'll do it the next one after.
Which might be a while. I ended up being the GM for my local group. Which is fun, I love storytelling, but - well, you all know the spiel.

Ranger, through and through.

Everything in greentext has an incredible cringe factor.

"Cringe" what? Shut up, "cringe" can fuck off as a whole thing.

Ranger obviously. A druid wouldn't have his picture taken like that.
>>52314937
Epic Ranger. Unarmed specialty.
His animal companion is hiscameraman.

something with poor fortitude saves.
