Broquest was one of the predecessors of Towergirls, though it ended up failing like Breeding Season

the knight chart you posted itself is just another CYOA made by the artists however, im not even sure its related to Broquest. Though I did use it in a civ style Towergirls campaign long ago

The backstory options in subtitle pending are fantastic, and even come up in conversation early in the game. Absolutely delightful, also being raised by skeletons is an option. Far too early to really play it though.

They come in many colors, not just red with tigerskin, that is a very particular oni design, but for instance the dnd ONI's were designed in a very different manner.

I do want to do a different color though, I was just basing the colors off a old drawing of an oni i did.

Doesn't have any oni traits? Based on the majority of artistic representations I'm finding, she's got the physiology (two horns, fangs, wild look) more or less down. The color of the skin should reflect on her personality (I can't remember her card off the top of my head, but I recall you giving her a "red oni" disposition), and I will agree that some tiger-skin clothing would definitely help set her apart from Ogre.

To help further separate the two, I suggest giving Oni Princess a kanabō instead of a basic club; oni are depicted with them frequently enough.

Most people stopped coming to these threads and they became circlejerks of a handful of people. There was an unwillingness to scrap things that don't work, an over-eagerness to throw in every idea to please everyone, and a staunch adherence to rules that nobody actually likes (ie, "every chart needs at least one trap") that ended up making every chart past 3 absolutely terrible and their creation into a shitflinging nightmare.

If somebody had taken charge and and actually focused on editing and making the charts good it never would have come to this, but by now the only people who still come to these threads are so used to every bad idea getting stuffed in that there's really no hope in these threads ever really pulling themselves out of the gutter.

Perfect example: remember Radiant Princess and Paladin Princess, and how they were both the exact same thing but people spent weeks and weeks trying to justify why both of them belonged on the same chart instead of just moving one elsewhere? That's the problem.

New to this, it's all awesome. Mostly posting in here to remind myself to get involved because I'm a writerfag with a shitty memory. I'll be back.

Do you pick backgrounds based on class? All my frozen church knights know magic n sheeeit.

Also recently I broke my mouse wheel and I've discovered the menus can't handle not having a mouse wheel, if there are more than 5 options I just have to guess what options 6+ are and hit the number on the keyboard.
