How often do your characters get satisfying deaths and endings?
>>52235968
Rarely.
I try my hardest to get my characters killed in the most boring ways possible just so we don't have to go through a bunch of bullshit "sad" dialogue.
>>52235991
imo maul got a pretty satisfying ending.
>killed by the same move he did on qui-gon
>short and sweet
>few last words
>>52236135
I just wanted him to injure Obi-Wan and get killed by Uncle Owen.

I always thought bringing him back was kind of stupid
Tackled a werewolf off a skyscraper.

Better question:
How do you give players meaningful deaths as a GM, and how to you make player death meaningful?
>>52236398
Scenarizing it. Make it last, roll desperate saves, give them a chance to die while doing something meaningful for their character, telling them they have no chance of surviving.
>>52236435
I was thinking of having a 'Soul Successor' mechanic where a player character that witnesses or pays respect to another player character's heroic death gets some sort of benefit.
Like the Destiny mechanic from Saga, except it affects a survivor.
>This one's for you, old friend.

>killed with the high ground

If you consider sand difficult terrain, then technically yes.
