I wanna say Arnold Schwarzenegger now that hes going on in age. Hes got the older more refined look to him than when he played conan, and he would look pretty good in full plate with a board and sword. very militaristic and hard edged for a paladin.

Story begins with them investigating the explosion of a tavern. The tavern owner owed money to Rob, the barmaid was a cousin of Jackie, and Morgan is the retired cleric of the town who is very protective of his people. Each uses their own experiences and perspectives to reveal crucial information about the explosion, but also themselves. Turns out that the cause of the explosion was a dumbass who snapped a wand of probably fireballs in half. A critically injured patron, after a whopping healing spell from Morgan, confirms the theory. However, the trio have since discovered that they were all present at a battle some 30 years ago that their kingdom lost and was thus annexed to Asshole Kingdom. Few people survived it, not much is known about the battle, so they sit down to share their parts. Rob was a scout, Morgan was a medic, and Jackie was a courier. They realise that there was something shady going on and decide to investigate. Long story short, they reveal that a high ranking noble sabotaged the war as well as the battle, in return for governorship of the kingdom's territory within the larger Empire. They argue about whether or not they should act on this information, considering that the man in question has died a few years ago, and his son is pretty okay, if nothing extraordinary. They decide to infiltrate the heir's household to see what the kid is like as a person and work from there. Turns out the kid thinks his dad was awesome and tries to emulate him. As the trio earned his trust, they reveal the proof they have gathered on his dad, and convince him to be a better man. The kid, after much drama, heeds their advice and bids them to stay with him as his agents, advisors, friends, and dads.

In the end it's about what you do with the opportunities karma presents you.
