Why not organize a /tg/ buyout of a card?

Well first there's deciding which card to buy out...

Of which it'd have to be cheap enough to buy in bulk, from a set hard enough to pick up anymore, and yet be powerful enough to actually consider seeing play in a format like modern or legacy.

However, if i could nominate anything it'd be Jace, the Living Guildpact. The prick is worthless and even has an SDCC promo.

If we could convince people he's taking up the 4 drop walker slot that Nahiri and Ajani can't be placed in for grixis control in modern i'd be laughing for days.

Any of the urges (treacherous, predatory, aggressive, destructive). They're all monstrously cheap.

Just checked out his price and spat out my drink a bit in laughter. Crosschecking against Tibalt, this guy's actually trending lower.

While Ashiok would be a very smart choice, i agree, i have two counterpoints:

1. Jace is actually shit. I feel like throwing people off with a card that's actually powerless would be way funnier than trying to be smart about it.

2. Ashiok is about 3x the price of Jace, at least on MCM where i do my crosschecking. We wanna do buy outs we have to work in bulk.
