Trump feels more like a THAT GUY PC than anything.

Putin would be the BBEG, but nobody is fucking taking proper notice of his plothooks.

>Invades Crimea
>Just get's sanctions and sternly worded letters
>Essentially states to the BBC he would murder his own Grandmother to achieve glory for the nation.
>Does little more than raise the eyebrow of the foreign correspondent talking to him.
>MIGHT have interfered with the American elections.
>Nobody cares

It'd be like if the BBEG threatened the land but nobody cared, so he just spends the next 20 years waiting for anybody to actually attack his lair.

Meanwhile British Politics appears to be one of those comedic RPG games, where everybody is hilariously incompetent.
Camerons player rerolled as Theresa May and just started min-maxing and abusing the browbeating and intimidation skills left right and center. Bojo's player is still somehow knocking about being the true comedy character of the party, and the guy who was playing Gove had to leave because his mum arrived earlier than expected.
>>
>>52206637

This kinda.

Still, Trump's player is a lot better than the dude who rolled Barack. Thank god the party finally ran his ass out after he generated such a terrible lawful evil character.
>>

EU is the FLGS that has the insufferable attendants that make gaming there shit; however there's no other place really to go until Britain, the wealthy local DM, started threatening to invite people over to his house and ordering stuff off the net for people because of the bullshit markups and rules.

Decades of globalization create a massive global underclass which elites rule over with an iron fist. The future is a hellish landscape of red tape and corporate debauchery. The planet is rapidly heading into a global ecological disaster, sea levels are rising (despite fossil fuels being banned in western countries) and drought is consuming arable farmland. Infrastructure is starting to break down, most major cities no longer have regular trash collection, highways are filled with potholes and trains don't run. The blue helmets find themselves increasingly isolated into their joint bases and suburbs, which now resemble castles more than anything else.

The game begins outside of Cincinnati, where a failed painter decides to take matters into his own hands. After 3d printing a gun he and his comrades decide they are going to resurrect the state of Ohio (which is now folded into a greater Great Lakes Metropolitan District).

Events include:

1. Liberating Kelleys Hill recycling facility, which overseas the vast dust bowl/landfill that used to be Lake Erie.
2. Siege of Global Robotics Inc's Akron Assembly, giving the rebels control over many automated security bots, trucks and a tank production plant
3. Liberating the Elkton Detainment Center, the UN prison for the region
4. Liberating the abandoned subway tunnels underneath Cincinnati, presently being used as greenhouses
5. Siege of Columbus Government Center (where the statehouse used to be, presently a giant brutalist concrete mess used by the UN)
6. Liberating the abandoned subway tunnels underneath Cincinnati, presently being used as greenhouses
7. Siege of the Cincinnati Government Center (where Union Station used to be, presently a giant blue glass cube)
8. Siege of the Freedom Bank Tower in Cleveland
9. Stealing the biological weapons buried underneath Wright UNAFB outside Dayton
10. Liberating and reprogramming the Northeastern Telecommunications Exchange, which causes all the remaining automated UN security in the region to be friendly while disabling UN-operated weapons within Ohio. The facility itself is a giant concrete block located outside of Portsmouth.

The story begins on January 20, 2024 in Texas as a small group of resistance fighters emerge from a bomb shelter shortly after a nuclear Holocaust has taken place to scavenge for supplies. The earth is scorched from nuclear hellfire, sunlight is heavily blocked out by thick nuclear ash/pollution and the rain is now acidic. The resistance fighters are scavenging the ruins of Dallas, Texas when they are startled by a loud screeching "REEEEEEEEEEE". They are ambushed by a pack of mindless green frog-like mutant cannibals. They try to fight off the cannibals but must flee due to being heavily outnumbered. The resistance fighters begin to migrate south towards Mexico because they are unsure whether or not Mexico was nuked during the nuclear holocaust. They are stopped by the sight of the titanic impenetrable border wall built by the God Emperor that survived the nuclear explosions. Fear creeps up the resistance fighters spines when they realize that the wall wasn't built to keep prewar Mexicans out but to keep postwar Americans in. Hundreds of "REEEEEEEEEEs" can be heard coming from a distance behind them...

>The problem is for all the shit they give others, they can't take even the smallest slight against them. They're completely unable to laugh at themselves

It's a problem with conservatives lacking humor in general. The other day I saw a sticker of Hillary and Obama that said "DUMB AND DUMBER" underneath, and was baffled that:

1) Someone thought this was clever or humorous
2) Someone thought this was clever or humorous enough to pay money for

Maybe it's something to do with those studies showing that conservatives aren't as capable of understanding strangers.
>>
>>52207793
You had to be a fool to think the Electorals would let Hillary in.

Trump is an all around asshole who has no idea what he's doing and is almost universally hated by politicians because everything he does isn't to make changes, it's to stir up some kind of fuss and paint other people as being the issue.

But Hillary had actual legal troubles going on during the election that the CIA or FBI or whoever the hell it was they got to look into her emails intensified, on top of the issues resurfacing from Bill's time in office. Add onto this the Benghazi issues and her less than clean history, and you have a massive legal fiasco if she becomes president.

The most illegal thing Trump did was wait to release his tax info, which in itself is hardly illegal at its worst. Everything else he's ever done has been legal because he can't afford to do things illegally.

Voting doesn't matter in politics, because no matter what they'll arrange a winner and have the popular vote be close enough to call 'fair' and let the media have its field day.

Hillary was doomed from the start, because Trump was somehow cleaner than her.
>>
>>52208831
I think it's just lack of practice. Humor is a skill, you need to work at it if you want to actually be any good. Conservatives usually approach politics from a place of anger, whereas liberals tend to be more comfortable with mixing in humor. Compare Rush Limbaugh to Jon Stewart. Each one fills a similar niche on their respective side, but Limbaugh tends to prefer to make his audience angry, while Stewart wants to make them laugh.
>>
>>52208887
> Everything else he's ever done has been legal because he can't afford to do things illegally.
He paid off two state attorneys general to get them to look the other way when it came to fraud cases surrounding Trump University. He quite literally could afford to do illegal things.

>>
>>52209094
It was brought up in the election. Trump gave money to the Texas and Florida state attorneys general, and in afterward they dropped the fraud cases against Trump University in their respective states. The problem is that Trump's voters simply never heard about it because they ignore all the sources that reported on it.

Imight be talking out of my ass here, but i'm fairly sure in this case, the many outweigh the few by far, i.e, lower class people will still give more to taxes than rich people, because they're so many.
Therefore, they're the ones whose opinion should matter on how to spend money. and in their case, i presume they like having part of their taxes used to help others, because it might help them in turn when they need it.

And that's just the logical argument. Try to use your logic on an actual scale, telling people to fuck off, that they won't get education for example, see how your country holds up 30 years afterwards.

Let's be serious for a minute anon. People have rights. No matter what you say, if you start going down that road, it can from bad to worse extremely fast.
Look at Turkey. The guy needed what? 4 years? Now he's locked up several thousands educated people, who MIGHT oppose him. And in a few months he'll get even more power thanks to some ullshit referendum, to which his opponents won't be able to vote for of course, since theyre in jail.

My point is, you can't take fundamental rights from the people or it gets bad fast. The best way to solve long term problems is education, to get the people out of their hoods and whatnot. It's a long, arduous and costly process, but it's pretty much the only way to treat the problem in depth.

On that note, how does the government actually thinks people will do if they start closing public schools?

We're going to need some serious data if we're going to talk about who pays more. My initial claim was landowners of certain wealth should be able to voice how they spend their money.

If you provide such numbers I will agree. But to your main point, yes if people pay taxes they have a right to determine how it is spend. But why exactly should people in the lower income brackets vote to spend their taxes on programs for others? I'm sure they're more inclined to spend it on necessities than the off chance they may need it in the future.

Besides, since there will always be more lower income people, why must we punish those who had either the good fortune and or work ethic to be middle or upper class? If we keep building a larger welfare state, what incentives do they have to reach the next bracket, if it's going to be lost in taxes?

Not the anon you guys were responding to, but I think this is the simple cost of responsibility and regulation. We have high standards in our automotive, flight, and retail industries that to a lot of critics, wastes money on excess testing and regulation.

But since this is tax payers money, why not ensure the people in question who are to receive aid, are in actual need? It is far superior to ensure that hungry mother's, struggling working men, and so forth, are to receive the necessary aid versus the creepy hobo who's on crack.

Better than what I expected. But honestly, that doesn't disprove how criminals can't commit crime if they aren't borne. And if we make the actual investment into Genetics, we could hypothetically not worry about lost genes.

Fair point. But what does it say when we don't have such measures? As far as I am aware, not every state and city in the union has this policy. I think if we pay taxes to support and help people, than well dammit, I'm willing to fork over the dough to make sure they are for the right people.

In the ideal eugenics society, we would have hopefully created the modern day Superman. And in cases of rapidly evolving disease and or unknown changes in our environment, have a large stock of genetic information in a "bank" would allow for modification to the Superman formula.

And to answer your question, sure. I mean, if they discovered I have some horrible disease or a high chance for malformities, than it is clear I have horrible genetic stock, and mistakes were made.

Also, I don't have a trust fund. Being lower middle class doesn't give such benefits. Oh well.

If there was a simple, cost-effective way to ensure that funds were going to the right people, without any getting caught in the crossfire, I would be all for it. But there isn't

And specifically, if there was I don't know that drug use would be a good qualifier for "wrong people". I'm sure there's assholes out there just looking to abuse the system, but just doing drugs doesn't mean you can't be a productive member of society. And if someone can't, addiction is as much a disease as any other, and I'd rather see them get help than thrown out onto the street.

Do you rent an apartment? do you make your own car payments? to you pay rent to people who won't tolerate it being late or short? Do yoy pay taxes on things other than income? do you have to concern yourserlf about the fact that if you lose your job ytou hjave no financial support save what you have in savings (though your current savings is falsified by the fact your parents carry the burden that you do not, further skewing your understanding of how living on your own works)?

Your circumstances vastly skew the version you see of reality outside your safe environment. That's why everything you think about taxes, the government, and how people should be treated is so easily disregarded - you're just a kid living off the largess of others. You have only anecdotal evidence of how the world outside your comfy and safe home life is, and haven't actually experienced hardship. It's very easy to condemn others suffering when you haven't experienced anything like real suffering.

Probably an argument that can be refuted, but I understand that Portugal now considers drug addicts as ill people and not criminal, get them to clinics and stuff instead of throwing them in jail, and apparently the number of drug addicts has been going down. You could probably do a good fallen queen with her. Her brother objected to her sitting on the throne instead of him, and the battle between them weakened the kingdom. The corrupt guilds then seized the chance for power, and helped a mad barbarian conquer the kingdom while they fought. Now an exile, she's given up all hope for ever claiming her throne, but still seeks to help her loyalists reclaim the kingdom from their tenuous, twisted alliance.

I pay for my own car, school, and taxes. As well as small bills to establish my credit.

I have my own savings account.

Really the only point I see that has merit is the fact I live with parents. Why? There was a time not long ago where son's stayed home and contributed to their clan/home. I can't prove to you my experience in life is not ancedotal, but so is everyone else's experience.

And I don't even need to experience suffering to understand it. People have been suffering since the beginning of time, I think I can fill in the blanks

But blog post is over. I'll stop posting now I guess.

The majority of the mega-rich inherited their money. You usually have to go back 3-4 generations to find anyone who was actually productive.

If any of the mega-rich truly were productive, then high taxes wouldn't affect them, because they'd be constantly making money. In reality they're coasting on the cash ol' Grampa Moneybags left them. Taxes would deplete that reserve quicker than their cocaine habit alone, which is why they're always whining.

Fact of the matter is, taxes are never going away. Period. It won't happen. So, would you rather your taxes pay for people to get necessary medical treatments for easily preventable diseases and easily treatable injuries? Or rather your tax money pay for trillions of dollars of military hardware that will literally never be used and no one serving will ever even get their hands on?

It's a trick question because I know your answer and it's to tip-toe around the question.

The issue with that line of thinking is that there's not a way to "get them off the drugs and just make them better", it's why they take drugs. Depression and other mental illnesses cannot always or even repeatably be "therapied away". I'm all for getting them help in addition to the drugs, but going into it with the expectation that they'll wake up one day and decide they don't need the drugs anymore is absolutely the wrong way to think about it.

The destruction of the family, social cohesion, national pride, traditional values that had worked for hundreds of years and made societies built by Europeans so successful, the insanity that is the modern left, with their fatalistic hate of "western culture", insane belief in "diversity" being a strength (with no actual proofs backing up that statement), the complete disregard for the demographic future of their own people that has been put in grave danger due to mass immigration, and so on.
All of the above, is the result of cultural subversion of the west, and it has led the western world towards a path of self destruction, all because self righteous ideologs thought that they could build an utopia by disregarding societal conventions that had been in place for generations, for a very good reason.

When communism fell, former communist countries were still internally homogenous and retained their cultures and peoples. When this multiculturalistic globalist experiment that is being played in the west fails, western nations will no longer be western. They have become yugoslavia tier multicultural shitholes filled with ethnic and religions strife, the natives of those lands having been reduced to a mere minority in their ancestral homelands.

I see EU and the globalists as far greater existential threats to my people's future than the Russians could even hope to be right now.

>Hopefully we Europeans can unite into a glorious federation before that happens. A common defense would be a great start.

Oh fuck right off you Eurocrat bastard.
I will never see non Finns as my kin nor will I recognize myself as some sort of "European citizen". I'm a Finn, and my loyalty is only for my people, and I would not sacrifice a single hair from a Finnish head for the causes of non Finns.

I will become a fucking terrorist and start killing pro EU-federation politicians, rather than accept my people's enslavement under foreign people ever again. The sooner EU crashes and burns, the better. This cancerous union does not serve the interests of my people in any way.

Nobody mentioned oppression you twat.

And no, the world would not be a better place.
World has already become a worse place than it was few decades ago due to liberal policies.
This "progressivism" has led to Europe becoming increasingly dangerous place to live in for native Europeans, as well as minority groups within those nations, due to mass muslim immigration for example.

Liberalism is leading to a future of European civil wars between different ethnicities because native European peoples will not accept their ongoing demographic and cultural replacement indefinitely. Liberalism has led to a situation where conflict has arisen, where there used to be none, simply because the very basic notion of "we should only allow immigration that actually benefits our people and nation" has been lost, and the idea that it is a human right of everyone to move to europe and live off from our social services, has become mainstream in the liberal mindset.

I am not even particularly conservative for fuck's sake. I don't have anything against gays, abortion, women's rights etc. But in these days, simply wishing to preserving the social and cultural cohesion of your homeland, and prevent your people's demographic replacement makes you basically a nazi in the eyes of the left.

Political divisions of the next big conflicts of Europe are already drawn. Within few decades, cities of Europe will be coated in crimson once again, largely because of leftist policies.

No wonder, aren't you the people too autistic to be less than 10 meters apart from someone else?

Seriously though, as it is now, the EU is indeed incomplete and therefore unable to actually help and matter for the people. We need to reform it, in order to have a proper system. As of now, it's more of a living failed abortion, leading to severe disfunctions.

In my opinion, the sooner we can come together and secure our collective exterior borders, notably against Russia and immigration, the better.
No one can stand alone against these threats right now. If we manage to close our borders and set up a system to send back non europeans to theor shitholes, it'll be a big step forwatd already.

I think you overstimate greatly the reach of the left in europe. America is always extreme in its positions, but I dare say that apart from Sweden and Germany, pretty much every European country is at least a "healthy" level of racist.
Hell, my most racists friends in France are a half Greek half Black and an Egyptian. One can't stand blacks, calls them slaves and the other spits on Maghrebians. It's kinda hilarious really.

There are very few people that still want to welcome migrants here, and litteraly every presidential candidates except the communist one is against immigration through and through.

The problem is the remove kebab part.
All in all, there's a lot more arabs than there were jews back then. So imagine, even if we did, by some miracle to remove them, Europe would probably go like a guilt trip like Germany, because you don't purge a chunk of your population like that, without collateral damage. The EU would be ruined, we'd get buttfucked by the US or Russia.

>If we manage to close our borders and set up a system to send back non europeans to theor shitholes, it'll be a big step forwatd already.

Neither the Eurocrats nor the migrants aka "new europeans" have any desire to send, or be sent back to their homelands.
They have come to stay, and the EU bureaucrats will not work to send them back, because their very presence suits their goals, in three major ways.
First, Immigrants vote overwhelmingly left wing parties, which overwhelmingly support EU, hence EU is strengthened while anti EU voices are weakened.
Secondly, they undermine the national cohesion and homogeneity of EU member nations, especially on the long run, which will weaken nationalistic drives and serve to "divide and conquer" the inhabitants of the member nations, thus reducing the risk of nationalistic parties gaining power and seeking to get out of EU.
Thirdly, fresh, debt free immigrants, will allow the bankers that run the EU (and much of the rest of the world) behind the scenes, to continue this charade of economy, where money is made from nothing by issuing usury ridden debt deals. The native Europeans are already milked dry, so without fresh meat, this debt based economy would collapse.

In short, EU as it is, will not reform nor will it send back these migrants, because both would fuck over the desires and goals of the people that run the union. EU was never meant to serve the European peoples.

>>52214939
M8, you French are doomed. You have undergone the same sort of demographic replacement that the Germans are undergoing currently.
For fuck's sake man Sarkozy blatantly stated that French people must interbreed with the migrants or face "forcible measures" from the state.
Look it up.

I don't think it's white supremacy; I think it's pathetic. "Culture" is for people who have no value as individuals.
>>
>>52215110
> I think it's pathetic. "Culture" is for people who have no value as individuals.

Culture is what keeps a society fucking together you braindead moron.
You fucking realize that the individualism you so love, is PART OF WESTERN CULTURE, and it will go away fast if western culture dies.
Individualism is not valued in non western cultures, at all.

Do you think that, if Europe were to become culturally dominated by fucking Islam in the next century, your individualism would be given any fucking value at all?
You'd be forced to go with the flock and submit to the dominant culture under the pain of death, which is the way shit works in Muslim nations of today.

Preserving western culture is working to preserve your ability to be a fucking individualistic twat that gives no shit about the work and sacrifices your ancestors did for you to get to this point.
Preserving your culture is an act of respect and love not only for your forefathers, but also for your fucking descendants, because I for one, would very much prefer that my sons and daughters could grow up free in a land dominated by the culture of their forefathers which granted them the opportunity to be free and prosperous and to build a better future for their descendants.

I do believe that the old generation of bureaucrats at the head of the EU are shitheads, yes. There's no doubt about it. However when we, the younger generation, manage to get in power, that can change. We can make a better Europe, together, and secure our borders.

The divide and conquer part would work if we were like the US where whites aren't the majority anymore. As it stands, the people are getting more and more of migrants, and as I said, being against immigration as a whole is a given by now.
But then again, we need to come as a whole, all 27 of us. If I'm very honest, I'm quite pissed when I see Brussels condemning...Hungaria, I think, because they refuse to let people in and lock them up. That's the way we should do it.

And 1 president talking shit one time doesn't mean shit mate. Otherwise the US would already have all its problem fixed by Trump just by the power of words. As of now, Macron is sumposedly the one that will get through and become President. Being pro European but wanting to change it, we might have a change.

Basically, the people are ready and willing, we just need to oust the old guard trying to stay on their golden seats, then we can unite and actually become a superpower on our own.

You have a fundamental misunderstand of how EU works.
Do you think that we the peoples of Europe, have the power to elect ANYONE into the EU that can actually fucking make legislative changes to the union?
Because we do not.
EU commissions make the fucking laws, the parliament (to which we elect our representatives) only has the power to vote yay or nay on those laws. They have no fucking legislative power at all.
EU commission's members are not chosen by the peoples of Europe. They are hand picked by the Eurocrats themselves, and are basically completely untouchable by democratic processes.

EU cannot be changed by electing people, for it has been designed so that the peoples of Europe cannot actually fucking influence it's workings. We have an illusion of democracy, when in fact, EU is actively anti democratic in it's nature.
The only way EU can change is if the Eurocrats, the bureaucrats that fucking run the union, desire such changes, and they do not. And the only changes they desire, are ones that grant the EU more power, federalize it even more, and rob even more sovereignty from it's member nations to Brussels.

> then we can unite and actually become a superpower on our own.
I got ZERO interest in being a part of a superpower, frenchie.
What I desire, is to keep Finland a safe, peaceful and prosperous little nation in the ass end of nowhere, so my children can live peaceful, and free lives without having to deal with the bs of the rest of the world.
I want to keep my homeland the safe heaven it has been for me, and my parents after WW2, and I also want to ensure that my people will never fucking fall under the rule of foreigners ever again.

Keep your empire building fantasies to yourself.

>The divide and conquer part would work if we were like the US where whites aren't the majority anymore.

On another note, that fate will be faced by many European nations within the next century, chiefly among them Sweden, Germany, and your precious France.

The rate of immigration to germany has been so fucking high that native German men in the age group of 20-35 will be a fucking minority when compared to people with foreign background within that demographic
>>

Head of state can kickstart processes to make it change. Otherwise, for example, Brexit would have never happened.
It would take the right people at the right time, but it is a possibility.

Based on what?
What geopolitical reasons would Russia have to invade Finland?
Russia attacking us is extremely unlikely scenario, and even if they would, they are fucking free to try. We have actually capable military forces dedicated to fucking up anyone that comes uninvited over our eastern border.

>within the next century

Mate, the probability that we will actually reach the next century actually decreases every passing second, as more and more countries get nuclear weapons.

And again, France is getting more and more racist. No one wants migrants anymore. Hell I wouldn't be surprised if we started killing migrants first.
>>
>>52215424
The changes that made Brexit happen were made within UK, not within the EU.
If EU had had it's way, Brexit would have never happened, but thankfully, they do not (yet at least) have control over the internal referendums of EU member nations.
>>
>>52215470
Was there an actual geopolitical reason for Crimea annexation? Other than Vlad litteraly doing it to show that he could give the West the finger? And we did mostly jackshit. The sanctions are basically useless now, and now he knows that he can attack a nearby country and Europe wouldn't budge a finger.
>>
>>52215500
>Mate, the probability that we will actually reach the next century actually decreases every passing second, as more and more countries get nuclear weapons.

True as that may be, it is a poor excuse to justify the ongoing demographic replacement of European peoples.

>And again, France is getting more and more racist. No one wants migrants anymore. Hell I wouldn't be surprised if we started killing migrants first.

Well, I can only go by your word on that, as I am no frenchman, and I cannot understand your language so following your internal stuff ain't as easy as monitoring the anglosphere.
>>
>>52215540
>Was there an actual geopolitical reason for Crimea annexation?
Are you joking m8?

There was a blatantly obvious one, the Naval Base Russia has in Crimea, from which their Black Sea fleet operates.
You would have had to be a bloody moron to think that Ruskies would have allowed as important asset like that to fall out of their hands due to Ukraine falling out of Russian sphere of influence.

Their crimean takeover was perfectly logical from their point of view, and western powers should have fucking seen it coming a mile away.
