Single-class with free VMC, mostly non-lewd, and set in not-quite-Al-Qadim.

THE BAD: what the fuck is with that ancient story picture. Is this all just meme references?
The character's someone wearing Ornstein's armour called the Knight Captain in a tale of slaying dragons. Hellkite dragons, apparently. The story's about getting past a prophecy of killing a monster that can be slain by no man - is that some fucking LoTR ripoffs going on there? Why in the world is the picture on a monstergirl encyclopedia template? Is it just me or did no-one care about this guy before he put on the mask?

Look at this image. Just look at it.

Apart from that, there are some actual technical problems here. The survivors of the NPCs aren't fleshed out at all, and neither is the family. There's not much other than battle talked about in the personality section - what other than justice and family does the guy like? Monsters are disliked, as is desertion - that's something at least. But if family's important, why isn't that fleshed out?

Why is the nightwalker thing just thrown in there? Wouldn't he have known about it from much younger since it's pretty easy to discover? Did you check with the GM about putting in historical stories like that?

>Appeal: 4/5 Flashy armour and an Ornstein expy. Stands out, without being instantly murderable. Could use a bit more personality.
>Backstory: 4/5 The main issue here is the other characters useable as plot hooks by the GM not getting fleshed out more. Add in some names and if those three survivors are important, along with the family.
>Compatibility: 4/5 Frontline Striker with debuffs? I haven't used avowed before but it looks fun. Fits in most places, looks like.
>Setting accuracy: 4/5 Seems to fit. Monsters seem generic, and no mention of miasma, but other than that it includes an old tale, and a tale that was debunked, too.
>Sexual potential: 3/5 Shiny sexy male, that.. transforms? It looks like while not already corrupted, the pact is going to lead to easy bad ends further down the line.
>>
>>52201228
Well that looks pretty ne-oh, PoW again. Well, I can work with this. Were you the guy who posted the alternate versions of VMCs? Also, how do you feel about Legendary Rogue?
>>
>>52201277
Yes, but I'm still fine-tuning them--be careful if you were planning on taking one.

As for that other thing, haven't found a good link to it, but I'm fairly sure it won't be too much trouble if I can just give it a glance over.

>DEAD RELATIVES: NONE!

Basically, work on the NPCs, put some more personality in other than being a hothead that needs to be got out of here, and try putting in the nightwalker thing more obviously. Ask GM if it's ok.

Actually, Vult, you should probably PM the person yourself.

And, I'm going to sleep! Hopefully will review the rest sooner rather than later!

The sakura throne is kind of an interesting idea for Minkai--I always picture it as looking either dead or like pic related while the Jade Regent is in power, but once the PCs get to it and reinstate the rightful Emperor/Empress...well, cue the music as it bursts into full bloom.

Haven't decided if I'm actually going to try applying, but my curiosity is piqued at least. I'm a little curious how the TWF with unarmed of the Monk works, but right now I'm mostly looking at that juicy Investigator. That on Rogue would just be delicious. Oh, and Legendary Rogue should be in the trove.

How do you feel abouts cats?

What does free VMC mean? Just that instead of trading out a feat you simply acquire the class feature at no cost?
>>
>>52201456
I think it might get more attention once people've put together their apps for PLD and Legacy. All the games are closing close to each other and Shardwalkers has biggest chargen rules and the least advertisement, if I was applying to all of them I'd make my Shardwalker character last.

Apparently lizardmen are a core race, and their default culture is stoicism/Klingon.
>>
>>52202059
What were you going to apply with?
>>
>>52201960
As for what happened, what I can talk about is that they found a prostitute brutally murdered with some kind of bleeding magic as well as light slashing wounds.

They later got somewhat involved in a petty conflict and that lead to the city guard ganging up on them and bullying them. Apparently the gunslinger drew attention with his gun, but that was more of an excuse. Party got beaten up badly, especially with the guard captain with his expensive armor showed up. They woke up with some gold missing and some ability damage from their joints getting mangled up.
>>

Maybe it's my age speaking, but my ultimate waifu is simply friendly and stable. She's the sort that will see I'm having a problem, and make me a warm drink, snuggle, and ask me about my problems. She's reliable and I can trust her completely. And when the situation is reversed, I help her, hold her, and she can trust me just as much to be strong for her.

Dragon Game Duo, Session one. SHOWTIME!

>We start off our adventure like most do. In a tavern. For breakfast.
>Aurora, Liozis, Rorymei decide to have lunch together, occationally giving scraps of food to Aurora's very large dog Fluffnir.
>Calsi (aka Jessica rabbit) Is brooding on how to recover her repuation after getting in a cat fight with her singing rival. Rinka is also brooding in a corner... but this is just to look cool.
>Rorymei, Aurora and Liozis Spends some time catching up, when a very large lady comes in, nearly nine feet tall and Zaftig to a fault sits down with them.
>The lady attempts to say that she's a traveler of some kind before saying to hell with it and revealing she's The Queen. She's been Talent hunting for Champions, And it just so happens the people she's been keeping an eye on were all in this particular Tavern.
>She invites the others, Who are particularly excited to be dealing with the queen. Both acting very smug in their own fashion. (Calsi is extactic that The Queen has been watching her perform. And Rinka is glad to have her VAST MAGICAL POWER recognized.)
>The queen subtly reveals that she's also considering Fluffnir as a champion too, which confuses the heck out of Aurora.
>BEEAM OF MAGIC! Fluffnir is revealed to be RORY ALL ALLONG!!
>Aurora has a freakout, as the dog she had been caring for the last three months is a large adult man, that she cuddled with, shared secrets with, and slept in the bed with.
>The Queen defuses the situation, barely. Discussing the job, explaining that much like a band, they'd be going on Tour.
>Calsi is over the moon and asks when they're going.
>Queen says that they have to deal with some domestic issues first.
>Rinka inquires about what their duties would be like. Demons? Undead? UNDEAD DEMONS!?!
>No it turns out its just Rebellion.

Yes. It's cliche, but love is blind. We all have flaws, but love allows us to accept them. Having confidence that your partner is invested and will support you, no matter how bad things get, is a priceless gift. But you can't just.. claim that. It has to be proven. It's very difficult to sell in a backstory or the like. That's also why I gave the age quip there. It's hard to really appreciate until you're a bit older and see other couples and marriages fall apart.

>The man himself wouldn't try anything too serious, according to The Queen, as the man is one of her previous lovers, and has fathered some of her most recent children. So it simply MUST be kidnapping.

>namely the fact That Rory spent the last 3 months taking advantage of Aurora's hospitality, and was in general being rather rude.
>The final straw is broke when Rory lets slip of a secret passtime of Aurora, when she demands her pound of flesh, right then right there.
>It took some MASSIVE amounts of calming down from the rest of the party, and some prostration from Rory himself to talk her down to a single punch.
>A punch that took him down to half health and broke his jaw. But one punch. And no more table scraps!
>With things de-escalated to "okay-ish levels" they head towards this spa.
>When they get there, things are amiss. For one, no one is there, the spa was 24 hour with at least a few attendants, But no one.
>Further exploration finds the place in disarray with signs of conflict, including split body oils and scorch marks from lightning bolts.
> further exploration find that a MAGIC CIRCLE was carved into the main hot spring. Which when touched creates a portal to the mountains south of The Demense in Thuvia.
>the session ends with the discovery of a stone path down.

There's no special archetype I'm hoping for, no build I want to see. Stumbling into my magical realm won't help anybody's chances since I'm committed to remaining as impartial as I can be.

What I'd suggest has more to do with tone. A kind of optimism, more of a focus on ADVENTURE! than grit, and perhaps a healthy amount of exoticism would be nice.

Fair enough. The dilemma I always have is that I'm a huge fan of vanilla. I love to do the basic character who then GROWS into something fantastic during the campaign. Hm, I'll give my 2 sp.

Probably a touch attack, CMB check, or Dexterity check to hit the ball and move it. One could rule that certain skills are appropriate as well, like Acrobatics or some physically-oriented types of Perform.

>>52202954
CotCT's Blood Pig rules are probably more appropriate.
>>
>>52202962
>>52202945

The rules are as follows. You have two teams of, ideally, five players. one rubber/animal skin ball. and two Vertical hoops raised about twenty feet in the air.

You can only use your legs, hips, buttocks and tail (if applicable) to handle the ball.

You must bounce the ball from your lower body into the opponent's hoop.

The two teams play to a certain score limit.

Hip checks and booty bumps to other players are allowed, but tripping is not.

I am asking this again because I narrowed down the choices and added some new ones. So in legacy of fire I am planning on taking Heirloom Weapon for a Dueling Sword, the only momento my character has of his family. I'm taking this is conjunction with Finding Haleen. I need advice on what the sword should be named I have a few ideas:
>Ashwand
>Summer Lily
>Missing Spring
>Red Summer
>Silent
>Legacy
>Heartfelt Goodbye

I don't want to be too edgy about it.
>>
>>52203029
I forgot to include one.

>Magpie's Flight

Sorry I've asked this twice, I have a hard time naming things.
>>
>>52203029
You can't take heirloom weapon with dueling swords by raw because Paizo hates you. Though the DM might allow you.

Isn't Heartfelt Goodbye Autism Fighter's sword? I kind of like Red Summer personally, feels war-like, feels appropriate for the setting, not too flowery.

>>
>>52203013
So it'd be...what, about AC 7 (-5 for 0 Dex, +2 for size)?

Alright, I've got a few ideas.

* Each team, or in a one-on-one game each player, starts the game in one of two adjacent 20-foot squares in the middle of the field.
* Make a touch attack to hit the ball. It is treated as a ranged weapon that deals 1d4 nonlethal damage, plus the player's Strength modifier. Its effective range increment is 10 feet.
* Passing the ball is a standard action, resolved as a ranged touch attack against your teammate's space. Catching the ball requires a DC 12 Reflex check, and failing this means you get hit with the ball and drop it in an adjacent space.
* For every 5 points by which you succeed on a ranged touch attack, you can increase the AC of the ball by +2 to prevent it from being stolen or intercepted. However, this also increases the Reflex save to catch it by +1.
* If the ball passes through your space, you can make a check to intercept, which counts as an Attack of Opportunity. You can still attempt an intercept if it passes through an adjacent space, but you take a -4 penalty on your roll for a desperate lunge towards the ball.
* Unarmed strikes with the hips, rump, or legs can be made against other players without penalty, but you're supposed to aim for the corresponding body part. Anyone struck by such an attack must make a Reflex save (DC 10 + 1 per point of damage taken) to avoid dropping the ball.
* In order to get the ball into the hoop, the shooter must hit AC 6 with a ranged touch attack.

It's interesting, but as it's still up in the air and going through changes every few weeks, I'm considering it part of the nebulous "ask and I'll look it over" 3pp stuff, but it's been so divisive that it's already got a strike against it.

I'd recommend having a backup plan if you really want to submit an avowed, just in case your character turns out to be too nerfed or too OP by the time the book is finished.
>>
>>52203184
Here's a couple more options.

* A player can hack/juggle the ball by making a DC 15 Dexterity check, allowing them to move the ball with them during that turn.
* Opponents may make a melee touch attack against the player carrying the ball to steal it, or attack them directly at AC to make them drop it.

Did someone just say...
DARK HERESY CRIT TABLES?!
>>
>>52203528
Yes, but only in exceedingly rare circumstances.

Mechanically, making someone lose a limb is literally crippling their character. The fighter can't use his greatsword if he has one hand, the wizard needs help moving about if he's not at the level where overland flight is available and he loses a leg. this is unfun for people, but can add a lot of drama to a character, which IS fun.

In-character, people are trained to attack the head and center of mass on an opponent. Disabling someone's arm or leg is only useful in so far as either you strike an artery (thus not needing to debilitate the entire limb) or limiting their movements. Because of this, the vast majority of attacks that aren't called shots to the [Place] are going to hit the torso or head unless the intended target puts something in the way of the blow.

The rogue continuously tries to quit his job.
>>

There shouldn't be any major mechanical reworks coming - a character might end up stronger or weaker than they were when the game started, but you shouldn't have to rebuild. Current feedback seems to be that the damage is too LOW, but that's somewhat easier to tune by *adding* content rather than tinkering with what's already there - and more data would help a lot with working out what we need to do there.
>>
>>52201164
If an eidolon has hands and UMD, can it use wands ?
I am making a VMC summoner build and since the eidolon wil be severely weaker I'd like to turn it to a skill monkey
With a skill focus feat, the +8 to a skill and it becomes a class skill and a rank, it can easily reach +15, mostly capable of using level 1-2 wands
>>
>>52204809
I suppose magic jar would work.
>>
>>52204819
But wouldn't fixing the problem by adding more content require a character to spend resources, thus doing nothing to the low optimization floor?
>>
>>52204876
As non-channel/rounds Avowed currently have little to spend their WBL on that increases damage, their low optimization floor is comparable to a Fighter without a magic weapon at the moment. So basically absolute bare minimum.

I mean, we don't really have numbers for super low op Avowed optimization versus super low op Fighter or Rogue optimization, so that's tricky to balance at the moment. (If you guys DO have any, they would help?)

We're still going to add items to help tune stuff, though.
>>
>>52205081
>Avowed's optimization floor is as low as fighter's
How is this ok, again?
>>
>>52205107
When I said 'comparable', I meant 'should be compared to', not 'approximately equal to'. Apologies for being unclear.

Even if the damage numbers were comparable (which I don't THINK they are? Like I said, we don't have low op numbers for other classes), the Avowed would be in a much better situation - at the lowest optimization level, we're fairly comfortable saying that they'd sit at tier three by virtue of their utility in and out of combat via clauses. That SAID, we need the optimization floor to be similar to that of Paizo classes like the Bard, Inquisitor, and Investigator (our balance points) so that it doesn't appear too strong in low-optimization games.
>>
>>52205081

Stuff for blasters to buy to improve blasting would be lovely. I'm a sucker for 'Throw a fireball at the problem' but an elemental avowed throwing fireballs is going to be rather situational compared to 'Avowed with a revolver'.
>>
>>52205179
I really, really don't understand why "Destroyers gloves" or some magic item that improves magic attack damage/ray attacks exist yet.

It seems like such a no brainer item to include.
>>
>>52205179
Could you elaborate on that? What issues is fireball not solving for you?

>>52205198
If we do include such an item, it's only going to affect Avowed blasting - we don't want to get the entire book banned because it makes another class too strong.
>>
>>52205225

Mostly the fact that it takes a LOT of enemies for 'Throw a fireball' to be better than 'Multiattack with weapon powers' as best as I can tell. Which is a bit of a situational occurrence.

I'll admit: I'm just generally not a fan of the weapon powers and would have preferred them skip the actual stats on the weapons entirely and just be 'Single target high damage form'
>>
>>52205225
Not same anon but: If it's fire fireballs, then one starts encountering a lot of immune stuff by like, level 10.

Compared to "with revolver", who's going to be doing similar damage but do so per shot to a single target (multiple attacks) and the fireball will quickly fall behind.

I'm pretty sure most of us are talking about aether pulse upgrades. Maybe a generic damage one and a second per-shape or per group-of-shapes (based on the more narrow combos rather than "all AoE" or "all Single Target") for some special trick/effect.
>>
>>52205288
Given the improvement to area shapes (that is, they now deal 0.5*charisma damage to all struck enemies per rank of the shape), hopefully you'll find you're not falling as far behind as you were before?

I mean, even with that, we have Aether Blade and Aether Barrage as versions that don't use weapon base stats. We mostly just wanted to make Hideous Blow not blow hideously.

>>52205312
Aether Blast - the rough fireball analogue - is actually untyped damage, with Modulation Clauses being optional selections that add a type and a rider effect to the hit. In addition, Elemental Avowed has ways to bypass resistance, and Aspirant can bypass immunity, so we're not concerned about that.

What do you mean by 'aether pulse upgrades'? Modulation clauses being optional (and only rarely a DPR increase), alongside Lifeleech, Abrasive, Gravity, Solar, Akashic, Kinetosis, Agonizing, and Time-Splitting pulses being untyped, as well as the various Positive and Negative pulses ignoring immunities mean you shouldn't be having too much trouble with resistance
>>
>>52205353

>Elemental Avowed has ways to bypass resistance

Mind you, elemental avowed having no way to bypass immunity really hurts them. Since they kinda mono-focus an element.
>>
>>52205367
Elemental Avowed is hurt by immunity because it disables Consolation Flare and negates a summoned fire elemental's Burn attack. Otherwise, they're just as capable of switching to another element.

THAT SAID we actually do have a feat planned to enable people who want to specialize in a single damage type, because frankly, we want everyone to be able to have the fantasy of being The Fire Guy, whether it's a fiend pact that loves their hellfire and brimstone or a fire betrothed who doesn't want to end up sleeping on the couch tonight. Watch this space. ^^

>Elemental Avowed is hurt by immunity because it disables Consolation Flare and negates a summoned fire elemental's Burn attack. Otherwise, they're just as capable of switching to another element.

It's a pretty big chunk of thier abilities.

Have you looked at how D&D 4e did it with Burn Everything and such? It allowed you to ignore a certain amount of resistance (Starting at <Stat Mod> at level 1) and treated Immunity as Resistance 25 instead.

Next app!
Sage! No last name!
>orphan survives due to being nightwalker
>is angry at nobles so causes riots
>nearly kills innocent noble kid and saves them by risking themselves
>the fire rises and makes her firebender
>after pilgrimage to the fireplace she comes back
>tome merchants has fucked up everything while she was gone, revenge is worn etc

I didn't think I would like this app when I glanced over it, but now I've reread it along with the setting info, it's actually pretty good. Aside from using appropriate dark-soulsy pictures for the app, the player has incorporated many of the setting conceits into the heart of this backstory, and weaved the backstory well into the personality.

THE GOOD: Setting conceits are well tied in. Some of the major things in the setting: Nightwalkers, dick-ass nobles, and fire keeping the miasma at bay. The backstory has the nightwalker part be intergral to surviving at the outset, gives a prominent aspect to the nobles, and most importantly sets out the Fire as a tangible thing - as Puella Libra Daemonica plays so much upon Dark Souls lore, it's a very nice touch to have an elemental pyromancer have a sort of religious bent to it. The backstory's fleshed out well, it ties nicely together and it gives a solid thematic meaning to the personality.

THE BAD: There's not a lot to say here! It's pretty solid. Two very minor gripes is that with such a straightforwardly good character it'd be more of a challenge to throw temptation and flaws at her - though I'm sure Vult can do something with even more dickass nobles or potentially less monsterous monsters, and Sage could potentially do with some named NPCs to use later, but again, they're not something that's worth a huge rewrite of the character.

---

We've currently got a new app, so I'll add it on to the pile! Once they're all reviewed I might go back and look at some of the revised ones. Let's see who we roll up next!

SONJA THE BARBARIAN

>dickgirl amazon noble doesn't believe in rapemonster settings and goes out into the world
>"you'd best believe in rapemonster settings... you're in one"
>she heads home, and decides to train in order to beat up all the rapemonsters for some reason
>also, there's was a tome that turned a random girl into a monster and apparently this is the worst thing ever and should be stopped?

There's nothing wrong with fetish characters, if they're well written and have good backstories that tie into what the GM has made.

Sonja passes some of these criteria, but lacks a certain something - there's a disconnect between the two separate parts of the backstory told of the young girl who ventures out and is scared of monsters, and the older woman who's less afraid of monsters but for some reason decides that a monster transformation through a tome is most awful and bad. That, coupled with the mediocre writing and lack of gimmicks that isn't the fetish pulls the character down a lot in my books.

THE GOOD: There's some work done towards the setting. There's nothing wrong about the writing itself.

THE BAD: The app only stands out because of the penis, frankly. Other than that, it's an average barbarian who wants to grow stronger. I see glaring problems with the whole "finds out about the tomes because a random girl transformed" issue - the whole section feels tacked on and doesn't convince me that this would drive Sonja into tracking down these merchants. For crying out loud, the night sky turns people into monsters, wouldn't she try to fix that first? She doesn't even know this random throwaway NPC!

When a character's only notable because of their genitals, it's not the sign of a good character.
>>
>>52207126
>you're different from the other girls, Sonja. You have a penis.
>>
>>52207126
>Appeal: 3/5 MUSCLES. GIRLS. But generic flexing doesn't really help much.
>Backstory: 3/5 As said before, it doesn't tie together well. The latter part feels tacked on and the writing doesn't catch me.
>Compatibility: 3/5 Frontline fighter. No other benefits. Would have been 2/5 but a dick means more choice in partners.
>Setting accuracy: 3/5 There's a nice bit of lore, but not used well. I find it a tad hard to believe that girl Sonja wouldn't know about any monsters at all while growing up - villagers might lose kids or adults to the darkness and she should at least be dimly aware that the world is Not a Nice Place. Ironically enough this is where a dead relative or two might work perfectly.
>Sexual potential: 4/5 MUSCLES. And dick. There's a bit more to work with here, and lots of easy corruption potential for someone lusting over more power. Hijinks can also ensue easily. But again, when dick's your only real point of focus, not the best sign.

DEAD RELATIVES COUNT: 0. Could use more.

If I were to change the character, I'd focus on a few things - first, play up some more gimmicky stuff for the character. She's an invulnerable barbarian rager; tie that into the backstory. Make something about her getting hurt and then making herself tougher so something like that won't keep her down.
Tie the tome story in closer - make it a worse personal tragedy for Sonja. Perhaps she was defeated by the tome user and barely clung to life through bitter force of will, now it's personal?
Give her more of a personality rather than "wants to be stronger", or give a better reason for it. Just because she ran away from monsters isn't a good reason. Maybe she wants to protect her village better? Maybe instead of wanting to be strong, she wants to explore more and bring in help to her village?
Lastly, tell of her reaction of what she thinks men are. What happened when she first encountered the strange breastless women with no cunts. That'd be a fun tale, I bet.
>>
>>52207111

Yeah! I'm just saying the lad's been looking for a place to plop her down and a dark fantasy world where monsters are out and about and the gods are in *serious* need of rebirthing is something she'd fit nice n' snug into.

>>52207119
>finds in =/= made by

You don't find spice in Dunes, either. you either find them in the Shai-Hulud (may their passing cleanse the world) or in a marketplace because YOU CAN'T DIG A DUNE AND FIND SPICE.

The absolute most I'd be willing to say you would find is incense, which might actually be an awesome name for the sword since you can call it "Myrrh", a rare incense that was used as an embalming solution for mummies and was noted as quite intoxicating in fragrance.

Maice Tarot!
>Pretty girl loves horses!
>but she a cold bitch nigga and joined the army
>maybe that's why she killed the monsters that attacked stone cold dead

There's a lot of things wrong with Ms Malice, even though I want to like her. The foremost obvious problem was that she's not yet met a tome manifesting, and thus has breached the character rules - if apps were to close right now she'd be right out. Her doing mass murder of monsters isn't really quite so appropiate either, especially at level 3. Not a single other app has said they can take on hordes by themselves, not even Lysander (who only broke through a horde of monsters because there were easier people to capture for fun times).

Which is a shame, because I like the motif of a cute girl loving horses being twisted into something wretched and cruel. Other than that, the rest is setting appropriate, backstory matches with personality, and she is at least somewhat 3D as a person which is something Sage and Sonja lacked to some degrees.

THE GOOD: Cute rotten bitch who can swing to cruelness or justice, and is pointed int he right direction for now. The app includes a short grimly amusing place to come from. Personality is jagged like glass, and that abrasiveness is something a lot of the others lack - while it might play up tensions in the party, sometimes that's helpful in getting catching notice when looking through apps.

THE BAD: MISSING TOME ENCOUNTER IS AUTOFAIL. Two of the three paragraphs are about her, the entire other one is about the place she's from, and they don't gel well. Level 3 person shouldn't be able to solo half a cavalry company.
I suspect this app is still under construction somewhat.
>>
>>52206634
>>52206598
Wouldn't you be better off with dipping the CHA monk? Enlightened is a pretty terrible archetype, all things considered.
>>
>>52207442
>Appeal: 4/5 Bitch in sweet girl's body. Rides a pale horse.
>Backstory: 2/5 Needs heavy rework, and additions.
>Compatibility: 2/5 Can only do one thing, and needs a mount to be of good use. Significantly limited.
>Setting accuracy: 4/5 Dick nobles, monsters, it's got it all except for her being too powerful for the setting at level 3.
>Sexual potential: 5/5 Admittedly I'm biased here, but she's right on the perfect verge of corruption and making heavy drama and lewdness potential. She's got links to dickass nobles - hell, she IS one - and can fall very easily, or could be made into a sweeter, more loving girl if given the right partner. Lots of potential.

DEAD RELATIVES COUNT: 0. Maybe she should change that?

If I were to change this app: Add more details to backstory, perhaps flesh it out more with the actual incident that happened. ADD TOME ENCOUNTER. Try to make the first backstory paragraph tie in better with the second. Provide some NPC names for easier hooks. Tone down her murder capabilities, or do something that allows her to solo half a cavalry company, like they were all half eaten by their monster horses or fucking them.

Hey, Vult.

What can you tell me about the Fey in the setting? I know they're capricious little pricks and associated with the Goddess of Monsters, Titania, but beyond that what else do we know? Are they less dangerous than a Werewolf, can they be reasoned with?

More importantly, what kind of fae exist in the setting? Are there Dryads, Satyrs and Pixies, Nymphs or Naiads?
>>
>>52208011
That works too, because I just realized the character concept I thought of doesn't work anyway and I need to go back to the drawing board. Was going to play an ex-cleric of Titania whose faith was shattered by the Divine Cataclysm, who became a raging warrior (mechanically just a barbarian with ranks in Knowledge: Religion, not a cleric because no full casters) fueled by the shattering of his faith and death of his family to RIP AND TEAR every monster of the night until he dies trying, because what else is a man with nothing left left to do?

But, then I remembered the Divine Cataclysm was not by any stretch a recent event, so the character just doesn't work.
>>
>>52208054
A cute assassin would be good, really anything with a drive to interact with the nobility because thats where a lot of the plot is going to be. Monster fighting is fun, but thats secondary to rooting out the merchants.

>>52208103
The Fey have the problem of being more legend than reality. Titania made a lot, and scattered them all over, and the miasma has made new ones. People tell stories. Though Ill tell you that Lost Children Arc has my favorite "fey"

Also, I need art of the plain doll holding a collapsed hunter against her chest and finally letting them rest.

The only place they overlap is that Eldritch Scoundrel only gets rogue talents at 4th level and every 4 levels after (half as many as a normal rogue) and Underground Chemist replaces your rogue talent at 4th level.

>Of course you are. You're almost there and you're afraid you won't make it. The closer you get, the worse the fear gets. No point in trying to hide behind that face. I know fear when I see it. Seen it a lot

Orcs or Hobgoblins?
>>

Hobgoblins.

Hobgoblins.
>>
>>52209411
Goblin sorcerer with the orc bloodline, who thinks he's a hobgoblin.
>>
>>52209411
Hobgoblins make more interesting villains, but orcs actually work better as PCs or neutral NPCs.

You need to put in range increments. 10 ft or 20 ft would be alright, with the maximum range being 5 increments if you decide to go for thrown weapon rules.

>>52209465

Goblins as a PC race was a mistake.

I dunno, they got a good stat spread.

How did we get so lucky?

Not our fault some tumblrite got triggered so hard he kept reporting until janitors came by.
Heck, there was nothing really bad about the last few threads until the butch brought attention to it. Everyone else was having a good time until he had to piss in the cornflakes
>>
>>52211784
What the fuck was that about anyways? I missed out on some crap it seems?
>>
>>52211963
I think somebody got annoyed some 4-5 threads back and started just Kangzposting out of spite.
>>
>>52211963
OP had a picture of Black Pharoahs and asked questions on Mummy's Mask. Only about one or two people in the last two threads made a Kangz joke, so when the new thread popped some anon got triggered hard and start whining super hard about how much he hates Kanzposting jokes, and started responding and whining and going "don't you ducking dare shitlord" to anyone who was even looked like they were either going to make a joke or even remotely talk about black people. He continued to spill his spaghetti all over the thread in this fashion, and it snowballed from there.

Then at some point there were Vikings in 90s LA skateboarding with Ice Cube, and some coptic Egyptian getting really angry about black people
