Whats the best loadout for a Space Marine tactical squad?
Melta/Plasma/Flamer (debatable) and matching combi on the Sgt. Avoid the missle launcher.

Generally heavy weapons have long range but need you to stay put. So you end up never firing your heavy weapon because you'd prefer multiple bolter shots OR never using your numerours bolter shots and fire only ONE weapon each turn.
Basically if you want heavy weapons, use Devastators - or even better, vehicles. The Tri-las Pred is a good choice.

I've killed Primarchs with this.
Best load out is grav, combi grav and grav cannon in a drop pod.
