Been wanting to run a PMD style game. Though I can't seem to find any decent Pokemon pnp systems. Is there anything approximate or will I have to go MAXIMUM HOMEBREW?

go max homebrew that's the best

If you're not using PTU (which I won't fault you for), you're best off homebrewing away or using one of the lighter-rules generic systems.

Try to ignore the site but the link has downloads for pmd tabletop. If i remember it is based on pathfinder and has guide on how to turn pokemon stats to character stats. It also has some perks and stuff

Pokerole might be decent and has a dedicated splat for it, but I'm guessing it's one of the Pokemon pnp you looked at already?

>inb4 GURPS
>inb4 Mutants and Masterminds
>inb4 FATE
>inb4 Savage Worlds
Besm had a supplement didn't it?

I did in fact intend to recommend M&M if the OP didn't want to homebrew from zero, how did you know, Anon?
I've actually played a pokemon game in that system. It wasn't quite Mystery Dungeon, but it worked pretty well.

Because Mutants and Masterminds can do anything if you believe hard enough?
I mean, 2E literally has a suppliment called Mecha and Manga, which has segment for pet battlers (a la Pokemon or Metabots) so It'd be my go-to if I wanted to play a Pokemon themed game (be it normal or MD) if PTU or Pokerole was off the table.
