The two-handed sword needs seven hits total without any crit. So basically the enhanced crit on a dagger isn't very good because it multiplies shitty damage in the first place. This is even ignoring armor, which probably kills the dagger.

The selling point of the spear is that you can disarm yourself in exchange for dealing damage that won't come close to killing your enemy.

If you blow all of the scepter's magic bolts on one person, you still need to hit them 16 more times before they'll die. If you hit someone 16 times in melee with almost any other weapon, they'll die from that alone. (the staff and dagger are exception, but as mentioned those things suck).

What's the criteria for the percentages? At first i figured it would be tied to how many potential enemies would be affected, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Having weapon speed is kinda pointless when you only have one weapon that's 10% faster. There also isn't anything other than the snake stone that cares about weapon speed. You'd want some on-hit effects or critical mechanics to make use of fast weapons in number based combat.

Also the sneak bonus on daggers seems completely broken, oneshotting any human you can sneak up on. The burst of scepter might also go crazy because it can just be a free kill.

Yeah, I know weapon speed is kinda pointless. When I was making notes I was focusing on everything else and just put base 1 for everything, convinced I'd go back to it later. Anyway, I just chose to make the dagger a bit faster so attack speed wouldn't be LITERALLY meaningless, just mostly. As for the sneak attack on daggers, the low damage makes up for it. Also as >>52094322 kindly pointed out the dagger was originally worse than the 2 handed sword for sneak attacks, so I had to buff it. The dagger may be powerful for assassins, but sneaking is hard, and with the decreased health, a one shot kill is ls less remarkable.

As for the scepter, if you miss 2 shots you are basically screwed, and from far away you would have a large chance to miss. But if you are close you are also screwed because you are a mage. Not to mention it is only 3 a day. So I think it's balanced, but I can see why you would criticize it. But yeah, a triple sneak attack with scepter can kill a 3-man group, but it is pretty hit or miss.

The spear is one I feel has a potential to be overpowered. Spear throw and then recall gives you a 2 hit kill projectile. Not bad.

If i had to choose though, I would go with staff, because I love mages and it also benefits the most from the flat damage boost. You can just spam it from far away.

You may as well remove hits per second. Common sense should let one know how quickly and effectively they can swing a given weapon.

Or just have a ranked speed or weight stat.
But if you MUST do it this way,

A two handed greatsword should damn well be slow as fuck compared to a one handed shortsword.

It should literally be about 1 hit per FIVE seconds given the arc of swinging something like that. Perhaps even more damage to compensate, like 250. (Ie: Slower DPS than a longsword, but hits like a truck on it's hits)

The short sword should probably have the same damage as the longsword, or less, but a small speed boost like the pitiful .1 bonus on dagger, and then make dagger all the way to 2 hits per second, or somewhere between 1.5 and 2.

regarding improving words per minutes, well i honestly dont know what to say, i personally have learned were all the keys on my keyboard are by hard, i dont even need to look at my keyboard to know what i am pressing and i manage to make full sentences with no problems.
I believe the main issue of people is that instead of looking at the text they are writting they spend their time looking at the keyboard.
Anyways, i dont really know a good technique for speed writting besides maybe learning the keryboard by practicing

you should always have one of your hands hovering over the WASD basically the left side of the keyboard with letters and the right hand always hovering the right side of the keyboard with letters. Your fingers should always be hovering over the keys you use the most, say for example the space bar, or the A, etc

My hand placement is alright, I use two hands, they move sporadicaly across the keyboard. Maybe I'm not slow, maybe I just have really high standards because I used to be a QM. I'm always deleting my text to replace it with something more eloquent or pausing to think about what I want to say and how to express it in a way that's fun to read. And of course, you can never belt out the next segment of a quest fast enough, so maybe I'm just too hard on myself. I dunno, but regardless I really do want to type faster. I know people that type incredibly fast, and they amaze and inspire me, despite being social media-huffing normalfags. I want to be like them, at least in the way that they type real fast.
