I don't have any art on this computer, but I just want to say this thread is refreshing. I understand the desire to be epic, god-killing badasses, but I can never make sense of it narratively and it's never appealing to me. A lot of the artwork is cool aesthetically, but every time I see a guy with a lightning-wreathed hammer clad in heavy as fuck plate armor with a long grey beard, I just go "How the fuck does this happen in any fantasy universe ever and how does an entire party of people get like this?"
Requesting just a regular ol' half elf in billowy clothing.
A bit of magic is fine.
>>52090817
>>52090853
This is good. Do you have one a tad younger looking, though? Late teens to early twenties for a human, to give you an idea.
>>52090853
Requesting a dog-headed non-Egyptian Paladin/Cleric art, /tg/
I'm interested in St. Christopher, the dog-headed Saint.
Animoo or realistic both okay. Thanks!

Looking for a jack-of-all-trades adventurer. As in, carries melee weapon, has a bow and implied magic caster. Something like a Fable character.

Does anyone have arts of people in stone armor, stone people, people with stone skin or anything like that? I'm going to play a Stone Sorcerer in my next 5e game
>>52096500
Does anyone have any private investigator/detective types?
>>52096405
Because I never got a response before, anybody have any sort of ranger with axes and a bow on his back?

Look up the Dredge from the banner saga games, they sound like they fit it
>>52096500

They're pretty huge though, compared to your average human

That sauce provides my favorite art from any recent fantasy game, second only to Cubicle 7's The One Ring stuff.

Well I suppose a god isn't a semi god :^)
>>52096688
closest I got. I have a severe deficiency of axe+bow wielders.
>>52102986
Thanks, yeah it's a strangely hard to find idea.
You'd figure that the class generally associated with surviving out in the woods would at least have some stuff with axes
Right, need some help, /tg/. Running my first game ever, and a player needs help finding art which I'm lacking in. Need a man who looks like a fantastical bar brawler, dark brown hair and if possible, green eyes. Imagine he's a dock worker who gets into fights every time he goes to get a pint after work, and you have this character.

Does anyone have any images of large, ornate magical staffs? The more obviously magical it is, the better.
>>52109167
What makes a skelly spanish?
>>52109704
If you don't have them already, I can post some concept art from Warhammer: Age of Reckoning.
>>52109792
Please do. It doesn't have to be just staffs on their own, it could have someone wielding it as long as the staff is easily visible.

Is Joan contemporary to Maximilian plate?
>>52120077

This isnt the first time I am seeing this bullshit
Are americans really taught in shcool that she was leading men or even fighting?
Your education is a joke desu
>>52101635
Still mad
>>52120107
Erm, no. So that image is not actually realistic if we're going to be anal about detailed historical accuracy.
I just think it looks better than Joan's contemporary depictions.
>>52120522
im sure that she wasnt actually some warrior (she was french afterall, and they cant fight for shit) but id assume that she was a real person who was used as a figurehead and probably did involve herself in some way - then had that minor contribution overblown and exaggerated to act as propaganda
>>52121047
>she was french afterall, and they cant fight for shit
Try not to cry james
>>52120522
I was more making a point about female adventurers - Joan definitely would qualify.
Also, I'm not American...? Its useless for me to tell you about my historical education because I might be lying but you're making a lot of shitty assumptions here.
If you want to be entertained / get some examples for actual female fighters historically you can just go check out badassoftheweek. Any of the (pre-industrial) ladies there would be right at home in an adventuring party as a martial character.
>>52121106

"A whole troop of foreigners would not be able to withstand a single Gaul if he called his wife to his assistance who is usually very strong and with blue eyes..." Ammianus Marcellinus, 4th century Rome

Anyone have scifi armored gals with a giant sword?

Looking for a specific image, it's a female guard/navy officer from 40k with a red jacket, pointing what looks like a las-luger and an auspex hanging off her belt. Thought I transferred everything to the new HD but i can't find it, does anyone have that picture?
Also picture to contribute for OP
i need pictures of young mages with blue robes and preferably hooded too
>>52111326

Love these guys. I'm a big fan of Adrian Smith's artwork, and the miniature sculpts are awesome. For those interested these are from the tabletop/boardgame Blood Rage. I used one of the other rank in file Bear Clan members as a Bear Totem barbarian for the past 6 months for a 5e game we're running up until he finally was bested two weeks ago.
