Cards are units in formation.
May already be a thing, I don't play card games.

Every deck has a deck leader. That deck leader gives you a special player ability. You ante your deck leader in every duel.

Each game the players have to pick a commander card to represent themselves. These commander cards have different abilities like give units +1 health or something like that.
