Shapechange is arguably better than Wish is and is outright better than Time Stop for being able to get you similar action economy cheese with no limitations like Time Stop's. Honestly, level 9 is a fight between Ice Assassin, Wish, Shapechange, and Miracle.

1: Grease (endless advantages of making someone drop things)
2: Hold Person (save or GET FUCKED)
3. Fly (Got that one right at least)
4. Celerity (FUCK SPACE AND TIME, I AM FASTER THAN THE GODS)
5. Wall of Stone (if you can't think of applications to willing thousands of pounds of rock into being then you are not trying hard enough)
6. Antimagic Field (The one power to assrape other powers? Hell yes)
7. Plane Shift (I'm out niggas, no reason to come to this universe again, peace)
8. Maze (can't kill you? you're making all your saves? your power is maximum? well I'm still making you GTFO)

Gate is broken as fuck but I still think Shapechange and Ice Assassin are better than it. Shapechange into a Zodar, use the one Wish they have(SU abilities don't cost XP or have material component costs), shapechange out, rinse and repeat. Ice Assassin is stupid as fuck for being a hyper Simulacrum.
