Question. Can armor values be raised above 14? I've read some shit where people talk about making land raiders, etc, 15av or 16av through various means but I've read no solid confirmations anywhere.

You can start trying things out around 20PSI for large scale basecoating, then down as you get closer in to do fine stuff. It quickly gets tricky though, with paint that won't atomise and dries on your needle, clogging...

At the end of the day, detail work is for regular brushes. An airbrush is very niche tool when it comes to painting models.

Right, excuse me if I'm getting confused here but I have a rules question. Say I have a 6-man team of Stealthsuits led by Shadowsun. I got 2 fusion blasters with target locks in the team.

If I'm reading this correctly, I can target a total of 4 units with this squad in the shooting phase: 4 Burst cannons and 1 of shadowsun's fusions (has to be at the target of the main unit), her second fusion blaster and the two stealth fusions can be at different targets. Is this correct, please?

orks are weird because of transport slots, and how you can put a team of mekboys in there to heal them up each turn. You can also give them 5+ invun with a big mek and forcefield, or stuff them teams of nobz and warbosses

It also consists of the most expensive units in the entire codex which also happen to be incredibly mediocre-to-terrible units compared to a majority of other things available.
Add to that that you HAVE to start everything in reserves (granted, rolling from turn 1 but still) which pretty much fucks over Guilliman and the rest of the Triumvirate, unless they errata it to allow 0-1 of him or the others (which then causes a problem as he can't start in the Land Raider or Stormraven) and that the special rules of extra shooting/attacks are pretty "meh" for what the formation costs and only affect the Terminators.

I have always loved the lore. Something about a regiment of guard that fights for redemption just calls to me. I also love the idea of Commissars being there to keep them from suicide charging.

Honestly though, so much of my time in the hobby is spent painting. I wanted to get a guard army that I could easily spend months painting and looking at. The Death Korps are, in my opinion, the best looking models Forge world has produced.

My original introduction to them was in black crusade a long time ago. That was my introduction to Warhammer 40k as a whole.

I really enjoyed them in a Commissar Cain book I read. The greater good, or whatever the last book was called. They were so alien feeling compared to the other guardsmen I have read about. I got interested.

So I downloaded a copy of Vraks. I don't know if it was so much the Death Korps, as the way Forge World wrote the book, but I got really into it. To me that was what Warhammer 40k is about - a never ending war that just grinds through bodies with an endless supply.

Honestly though, it saddens me the Death Korps have such awful rules. They feel like they are written for such a completely different game. Different times I suppose. Just hurts that the renegades in the same book have such wonderful rules.

Assume somehow you ended up with a model with 6 or greater BS and a twin linked (or master crafted) weapon. Would you have to use their BS reroll, their twinlinked/mastercrafted reroll or would you get to choose which? Since you can only reroll once.

I finally got this list typed up, sorry for not knowing the right format I'm totally new.

I know a few boys that say they will let me play with them, and they use 1850 points. I really like the imperial fists fluff, and I want to use this formation so I drafted up this in my notebook.

Imperial fists sternhammer:
For the battle company I have 1005 points
Capt Lysander 230 points
A centurion devastator squad for 165 points:
2 centurions with hurricane bolter
1 centurion sergeant with hurrican bolter

Assault squad at 85 points
4 marines and a sergeant, all with jump packs

3 tactical squads at 175 each
9 marines and a sergeant, all in a rhino

Then I have a command librarius conclave at 285 points
3 librarian in terminator armor

Finally I have a devastator squad in a drop pod at 255 points
4 lascannons, sergeant, and 5 marines

That's actually a neat homebrew for your warlord. Me and my buddy decided to come up with a homebrew for my Chief Librarian, seeing as how there's realistically no way to actually run a chief librarian in the 7e codex aside from stealing the statline from either Sevrin Loth or Tigurius. Here's what we came up with:

Chief Librarian Psycho Mantis: 165 points
WS5, BS4, S4, T4, W3, I4, A2. LD10, 2+/4++

Wargear: Artificer Armour, Iron Halo, Force Staff, Bolt Pistol.

Special Rules: Psyker(ML3), Chapter Tactics (Raptors), Stealth, ATSKNF.

Psycho Mantis must generate his powers from one of the following: Telekinesis, Librarius, or Fulmination.
