In one fictional fantasy setting, female drarves have beards.
In another, unrelated fictional fantasy setting, female dwarves do not have beards.
Which one of those is objectively the only correct one?
I cannot comprehend two fictional settings having different facts about what an imaginary creature looks like. One of them has to be right and the other has to be wrong. I am incapable of accepting that this sort of thing depends on the setting. I demand that all fictional settings be exactly the same. There must be a single correct way to write about dwarves. It can't depend on the setting. One must be true and the other false.
