So /tg/, I get, that our part is to be the salty pitchfork emporium, whenever WotC sneezes in the toilet stall.

However, what is our verdict on MM3 now?

5 fetches on the rare slots already balance the set/boxes a lot money wise. Damnation, Blood Moon and some of the other cards are even furthering this.
Snap and CoS at mythic is sad. However, I don't care that much for the Cavern upshift since it is more of a tribal-timmy-fringe card anyway. Snapcaster is stupid, but that would be my only concern so far.
Mythics have some Comet Storms again, but caring for mythics is preparing yourself to be disappointed anyway.
And last but not least, commons and uncommons look good so far.

As of now I think you can only win. Goyf has been spoiled now and the EV of the boxes just left orbit. So there are two scenarios: you buy a box now at preorder and prices stay the same: you win because of the balanced EV due to solid rares. OR they have a massive printrun and prices of staples actually go down because people bought the boxes because of the stable EV.

I mean it is still cardboard kikery. But this time I feel like it hurts less to be a good goyim.
