I was (un)fortunate enough to be an adult when Star Wars was first released. That meant I didn't get caught up in all the hoopla. While it was a fun film, a $3 script and $10 million in SFX don't really do much for me.

The adults who love it and all the sequels now fell in love with it as children. There's nothing wrong with that. It's a bit of nostalgia and wonder they can share with their children when they see the films for the first time.

You all think Fisher is hot for two reasons. !st, she was 19 when the 1st film wrapped and not yet 27 when the bikini scenes were shot. 2nd, and most importantly, the bikini scene most likely caused your first nighttime "big boy mess" in your jammies. You remember Fisher as being beautiful because, to a preteen, she was beautiful. People who were adults at the same time have a different memory of her.

The quickest way I can explain is to use a rough analogy: Fisher was Lindsay Lohan or Amanda Bynes 25 years earlier. Kind of cute, but a complete fucking train wreck. We didn't have TMZ or the internet, so the "news" and rumors didn't spread as fast, but it was well known Fisher was a junkie, drunk, and all the rest. If TMZ or any of the others had been around when "The Blues Brothers" was being filmed, Fisher and half the cast would have either been jailed, sent to rehab, seen their careers die, or all three.

Quite frankly, I'm surprised she lived as long as she did. She partied with with Belushi that weekend and that fatal speedball could have been injected into her ass.

The sighing over Fisher's death has more to do with preteen nostalgia boners than anything else.

As I wrote, people who were adults when she became a household name remember her very differently and were surprised she lived as long as she did.

A decade or so from now when Lohan's body is found in a dumpster you'll see the same divide in opinion. Those of the right age will have nostalgia boners, whole those older and younger will wonder why it took the drunken junkie that long to kill herself.

We sure could use a Trovekeeper for Traveller.
Traveller is perhaps a little humungus for a single mortal, splitting up the editions would be less overwhelming. Few people can match what Mageguru has accomplished.

Fahrenheit 451 is a story that includes hobos who memorize a book each and give up their old name, calling themselves the title of their book. They find a pupil and teach them the book to preserve it until society is ready to accept the written word again.

I happen to have it physically. Is a terrible game, anon, truly unplayable. Combat is a whole new step of absurdity, every combat turn has at least three rolls: to hit, then damage, then armor soak; which add to a useless micromanagement of depleting skills, a focus state (which is complex to understand and in fact doesn't add nothing to the game) and a roll for resolve every turn to see if you can still fight after a strike.

Is really hard to kill the barest mook unless you're wielding a Katana, Nodachi or Ninjato (the only weapons in the game that deal 3 damage dice) and even then it is tiresome. It seems incredibly untested. Not even the race lists are well written, giving you some quirky skills which are only burn points to re-roll certain attributes once. I would only save the Medieval Japan introduction, as it explains things about the government, religion and provinces, but is nothing you can't get anywhere else on wikipedia or any small book on the Shogunate era,

Have you checked out the Traveller general? They have all three books - the third is the Robots book. Remember to pick up the beta as well, it has a lot of stuff about worlds which was never included in the official releases.
