I was thinking Chaos and having an ass load of daemonettes. Coming from a Tyranid army with a ton of gaunts, it seemed similar to how I like to play (Horde style).

Daemonettes and Seekers are pretty good. They were paired with Flesh Hounds as part of a competitive netlist, but without the sturdiness of Khorne it can be a bit rougher. Try some winged DPs of Slaanesh and some Chariots or something.
