When there's multiple servants of the same person, it's generally a split between the "reality" and the "legend". Like Vlad and Dracula, or Bathory and Camilla. Otherwise, it's just different facets of the same hero, because the Classes can only hold certain aspects of a given hero.

Where things get screwy is with F/GO, where you have historical figures writing their fanfics into the Throne of Heroes, theoretical versions of heroes showing up due to time anomoly bullshit, and Gods jamming together multiple souls so that they can circumvent the "no divines allowed" rule.

Jack is one of those reality vs legend issues. In reality, Jack was a bunch of vengeful dead babies fused together into an autistic psychopath that butchered her way across London. The legend though, was of a highly brutal person with a high degree of medical knowledge, which is where SF Jack came from.

Strong Human Order means that Heroic Spirit summoning is possible, Dead Apostles are less of an issue, and in general the prospects for humankind's survival will be looking good. Weak Human Order will mean that Heroic Spirits might not even be possible to call on, Dead Apostles will be a much more significant force, and the idea of human progress and prosperity seems laughable. Tsukihime would fall into the latter category. So, it might not even be possible for Counter Guardians to appear to deal with all the shit that's out there. The world just sucks too much already.

I'm so broken by Nasuverse stuff.

Played the original Tsukihime and FSN when I was like 10 years old and barely spoke English (ESL obviously, not retarded arguably), fast forward almost two decades and it's become this whole thing with anime adaptations, spinoffs, side-stories, cash-cow mobile games... it's a fucking mess, and it's all FSN-related. I hate this terrible landscape. Everything new is terrible, and the old stuff (oddly enough) is also garbage, yet it keeps making a shitzillion rubles and it's only gonna get bigger. I used to like this thing, and now it's disgusting to me.

So has anyone successfully come up with a Tsukihime system? Fate is a bit retarded to try and manage in roleplay without just going full freeform, since everyone is so grossly OP and all, so I'm taking what I can get.

Anime I know a few reasons why it's terrible and when they hit something that makes ANY money they milk it dry. You have to pay money to get shit aired in Japan, so the only shit that gets aired has to make you money on goods be it hug pillows or disk sales best if you can do both.

Games no fucking idea but I can speculate. Japan having a head start on cellphones for a generation or two before the US and thus have had a lot more lead time to start this idea and get it entrenched. PCs in japan are actually pretty expensive (for a few reason I won't jump into here) and consoles are lesser range, but when you already got a fucking cellphone that can play a game why pony up all that money for a box that can do it and most of the time they're free sans the pay to play schemes.

You can get into cultural reasons why japan accepts such shitty games but they do, it's like CoD in the west you just have to accept it.

This lady had a huge cult around her, she was considered a danger to people in a way that few others can be. Emiya gets sent after her on an assassination mission, finds the cultists protecting her in ways that messed with his ideals, and he fell to evil as a 'sacrifice' for those he had killed. Those ideals eventually wear away and he is left with only the origin of "Sword" to guide him, and a sword without purpose is just a killing implement. His Noble Phantasm is Unlimited Lost Works which is a mix of the Origin Bullet and his sword scale form from Heaven's Feel.

There are very few genuinely good things that TYPEMOON came up with - the original Tsukihime and Kagetsu Tohya, the UFOTABLE adaptation of Kara no Kyoukai, Carnival Phantasm and KohaACE.
Oh, and Melty Blood is awesome too.

There, I've just named all the good things TYPEMOON ever made.
F/SN and F/HA are fine, but, honestly? Looking back they aren't as interesting as Tsukihime and the other things above.
Even Mahoutsukai isn't that great. And Prisma Ilya, well, it had potential, but instead of properly mixing humor and action, they fucked up somewhere along the way.

Which kind of makes sense? I mean, what's the point of the Grail (as advertised at least) if you can just get a whole three wishes out of summoning Aladdin and having him summon the Djinni?
So the exclusion of that particular set of myths would probably be necessersery for the Grail being a worthy goal.

Hell, it looks like the whole plot of the current Prism arc is about a guy abusing the Grail War system to try and summon someone with a wish granting Noble Phantasm, and the fact that Pandora's Box is literally the best he can come up with strongly implies that there are no Genies in the Nasuverse.
