>>51901052
Linearly dependent row means you can drop one of the row. Then you have 3 rows for 4 variables. That doesn't mean there's no solution. It means there's infinite (or arbitrary large) number of solutions.

>>51900661

>>51901566
Because ABC is isosoles, obviously.
>>51902000
>>51901299
You're assuming lines AB and DE are parallel. This is not something you're allowed to assume.
>>51901959
Since nobody has explained, I'll show my reasoning.
Use >>51901145 as reference
The unknown angle in E (other than α) is 150-α
So the angle equation in CDE is
>x + 20 + 150 - α = 180
Simplifying it makes it
>x - α = 10
Now the angle in BDE is
>20 + 30 + α + x = 180
simplified
>α + x = 130
So,
>(x-α) + (α+x) = 10 + 130 = 140
>x + x = 140
>x = 70
>70 + α = 130
>α = 60
Now it's your job to explain why I'm wrong.
>>51902013
>This is not something you're allowed to assume.
I'd go a step further. Since AE and BD aren't angled the same out of A and B, AB and ED can't be parallel.

I can't tell how you got your first equation. If we label the angles in CDE x, y, and 20°, where angle x is angle DEC, and angle y is angle EDC, then the triangle sum equation is x + y + 20° =180°. You said x = 150 -a, then the equation turns to (150 -a) + y +20° = 180°. I don't understand where you managed to fit both (150-a) and x into angle EDC, since we can't assume EDC is an isosceles triangle.
>>51902322
Correct! I used two different angles for x. You win the price of slowly going insane from the fact that this math problem is impossible.
>>51902355

Given angles: A = 80 (70+10), B = 80 (60+20)
Triangles always have a total of 180 degrees thus: 180 - 80 - 80 = 20, Angle C = 20 degrees
Angles B, A, and D make a triangle with given values B = 60, A = 80.
180 - 60 - 80 = 40, angle D with respect to B and A = 40 degrees.
Triangle B, C, D / given values B = 20, C = 20
180 - 20 - 20 = 140, angle D with respect to B and C = 140 degrees.
I will label the 4-way intersection as F.
Triangle A, B, F / given values A = 70, B = 60
180-70-60 = 50, angle F with respect to A and B = 50 degrees.
Triangle A, D, F / given values A = 10, D = 40
180-10-40 = 130, angle F with respect to A and D = 130 degrees.
Remaining angles for F is mirrored: D, F, E = 50 and B, F, E = 130
Seriously, why would the angles be different?
Triangle B, F, E / given values B = 20, F = 130
180-20-130 = 30, angle E with respect to B and F = 30 degrees
Angle E with respect to B and C must = 180 degrees, as it's a straight line
180-30 = 150.
Angles B, A, E, D (a quadrilateral) = 360 degrees. angles B + A = 180, so a + D (with respect to E and A) must equal 180 degrees as well.
Therefore, 0 < a < 180

>>51907067
I'm getting approximately 20° when using the calculator as well, but translating that to the larger triangle as a whole makes it invalid. Angles D in triangle DEF would have an angle of 110 degrees when taking into account the other triangles around it (triangles EDC and ADF), which doesn't work.
I think the triangle is unsolvable, as it has different answers depending on how the problem's approached.
>>51897658
Why is it "That guy"?
>>51907269
Well, I have the whole thing drawn out here, and D is 110. Which makes sense, since 40 + 30 + 110 = 180.
There's nothing that would make it "not work"

As a former Amazon Fulfillment Center worker, I can safely say that this worm hopefully got in thanks to their box getting busted open once it left Amazon, because, otherwise, someone packing the thing put it in there ON PURPOSE.
Items get brought into an FC, get taken out of their shipping boxes by Recieve, get sent to the Pick departments, where they're placed on shelves by Sorters, which are then grabbed by Pickers when said item needs to be sent out, which is then sent to the Pack department, where its placed in a box with dunnage and sent down to the Ship department, placed on a truck of the relevant shipping company, and sent out.
That's literally 4 departments worth of people who would have noticed that big fucking thing, and only a Packer doesn't have someone immediately after them to inspect a product before shipment.

It still wasn't though unless you are only playing with autists all this while.
If so, go and interact with more people in real life so you can have a bigger pool of more amiable people to play with.

I meant video games.
Basically all the campaigns I've been in have had jokes and even one-off gag missions when not everyone can make it.

You can still see that it's Eggman, though.
If anything, the image is even better than the original 2D "connect the dots", because it has a low-polygonal 3D feel to it.

If you stayed young the whole time I feel like that could be rad as shit. Thered be times when youd be saddened having to watch your loved ones continue dieing around you, and you may feel melancholy after time, but being able to stand vigil all those years, becoming a bastion of knowledge and wisdom, and likely being able to build up a very sizable estate would be incredibly cool.

>>51910366
Huh, this is actually pretty funny! Thanks guy.
>>51910350
Wrong. Not only can you not just assume lines are parallel, but the angles and geometry prove it too (one of few things you CAN prove in this problem),

if my boss wrote some shit like that I'd start looking for new work immediately. that's the wrong fucking attitude for any kind of management to have
For anyone who was still interested in this, I know how to work it out. You have to add to the diagram by drawing a straight line through the diamond/kite shape and then can halve the know angle and also interpolate that there is a new 90* angle because of the line. Therefore you can work out that 25+90=115, therefore 180-115=65. I'm quite sure this is correct, although let me know if it is not.

>>51911280
There's not a 90-degree angle there. E and D are not the same distance along BC and AC.
>>51911350
I don't think they need to be at the same point along each of BC and AC, the line ED is still straight (180*'s each side) and therefore when divided again become 90* angles, the point at which the line ED connects on BC and AC would only affect the length unless there was a curve or angle in ED. Unless I am misunderstanding you?
