That card has some of the best art I've seen in Yugioh. Not because it's particularly nice or anything, but because it perfectly conveys what the card's purpose is: it draws strength from dead Skull Servants. Besides this card, the best I can think of that does something like that for a monster is Mine Golem.

They've only spoiled the packaging art. All of which are under $10 cards on a 9.99 premium product. Griselbrand being the only thing that see's play in niche modern decks. Exodia is the most magical deck in Yugioh. It will rarely be a big name, but it is always, always relevant. As time goes on, power creep in other cards can mean that Exodia gets unusual buffs, usually in the form of increasingly elaborate ways to shut down and stall, or look for pieces. Another problem is that the Head Judge of any given TCG event can arbitrarily decide to enforce his own rulings instead of the ones commonly agreed upon.

Pendulum Summons themselves are almost hardly relevant outside of petdecks. It's a mechanic that pretty much screams "Please punish me for over extending". When it's good, it's almost win-more situation. When it's bad, you're left with no hand and no monsters. Worst case scenario is everything you summon has 1500+ attack in which case a bottomless trap hole wipes and banishes your field.

Hey guys, I just recently went through my closet and found a metric fuckton of old stuff, yugioh cards among them. I've got a bunch of shit marked 1st edition that's foiled. What kind of prices am I looking at here? Google turns up some decent numbers but a lot of these cards can range anywhere from $5 to $75. Do people still buy them?

It's all mostly near mint and at worst lightly played condition btw.
