This is such a great setting. Love these books. There's so much to work with. The PCs can be warlocks, the resistance, or the demons themselves. Potentially lots of different time periods to run it in with the same basic mechanics: ancient Egypt, ancient Greece, Bohemia, Victorian England, ancient China, Sumer, Babylonia, Israel and Judah... sign me the fuck up

>The crime lord has an agreement with the nobility called the Secret Peace. None of his crooks are allowed to steal from nobles, though merchants and visiting dignitaries are fine
>The PCs are fucking everyone over, stealing from nobility while pretending to be obedient mafiosi.
>A new don shows up, and is killing the leaders of all the loyal gangs. This has the current don feeling kinda scared. He's trying to wait out the storm.
>The PCs get caught by the usurping Don, who blackmails them into being his puppets.

IDK about favorite, but I've been reading the web serial Mother of Learning atm and i'd love to adapt it to a campaign

>setting is actually groundhog day, with time looping every few months
>PC(s) spend unspecified amounts of loops trying to work out what's causing the loop/how to exit it
>over time it's revealed BBEG and a few other NPCs are also looping, and may have been doing it before the PCs were kicked into it
>it's revealed the time loops are degrading, and if they don't find a way to exit within a certain number of loops they'll be erased from reality

That's about as far as it's gotten, word of god has the story at having just finished the second of three arcs.

I just love the idea, with some adaption it could really be turned into a killer campaign setting.
